I bought mine less than a week ago, and already the fire button is beginning to stick, and it will randomly not fire when the button is pressed. Anyone have any similar issues?

I have noticed that mine does the not firing every now and then so I started paying attention to when it happened. It seems like it happens after I try to take a longer than the 10 second cut off. I am wondering if it has something to do with some kind of safety feature built into it. I dunno, just an observation.
I've not experienced a sticking button but did read someone else having that to happen. An alcohol clean seemed to have helped fix that.

I would return it if you purchased it from a reputable dealer. eleaf has been pumping them out as fast as they can due to the high demand. There would have to be some bad ones when you are dealing with those high numbers. I have heard of some 510 connector issues with isticks but not fire buttons.
I have been using my istick pretty regular for a month now and it has been rock solid. For the price if the same is true in 6 months to a year I will be really happy.

I did notice that it stuck when i hit the button slightly off center. I did buy it from a B&M that has a 7 day return policy. I was planning on bringing it back today to see what they say. They've been good to me so far so id imagine they'll help me out.
Mine has the ghost firing, but only about 2x a week. And the battery level indicator stopped working.
I've noticed that I need to press the button squarely to get it to fire consistently. Once I noticed that I had no more missed fire issues. These things are mass produced, tested lightly, and boxed up for shipment. There's always going to be issues with some small percentage.

I've not had any sticky fire button issues..one of our six we've purchased has a wonky 510 pin..but they're all working great.
I agree its a great PV, I love how it performs. It's just unfortunate that I seem to have gotten a defective model. I know the B&M I got it from has a few left in stock, so hopefully they'll allow me to exchange it for a new one.
i have heard several people with 510 issues, so before even using mine(just got it last week), i got this Eleaf iStick Bending Adapter its suppose to be here today. ill let you know how it helps
yeah if there half decent at all they should atleast honour you a week warrenty.better luck with the next one.i have 2 and they have been nothing but great for me so far.no ghost fires or button stick yet anyway.
I just got back from the B&M, they exchanged with a new one and already the fire button on this one feels alot better. Thanks for the replies everyone! i appreciate all the adice might need it in the future
So far, no problems with my iStick. My Kayfun bottoms out on the case about 1/8 turn after it hits the center contact and that makes the two very stable and solidly mated. So far no contact issues.
Im glad a majority of people have had luck with the istick, because I did research before purchasing it and it seemed like the perfect solution for me.I like the idea of the mvp, it was always just too bulky for me. hopefully the replacement i recieved holds up better. Thanks again everyone

Both of my iSticks have crapped out 510 connections. One of them sounds like a rattle snake when firing. I am just holding out for the MVP3 or iStick v2. Lately I've been looking at subohm batteries to handle the new Atlantis and Subtanks coming out.

seems to work great! you screw the adapter into the 510 on the istick. the adapter has an adjustable(floating) 510 connection and seems more durable than the one on the istick its self. wow just went back onto that website and price has jumped! i paid 895 plus shipping, now its showing 1495 and limit of one.
