Anyone help me figure out my Pass thru problem, pretty please?

Oh, so sad. The wall plug would have been so convenient.

Is there a reason they can't make a passthru with a regular two prong plug?

I guess it would have to have a really ugly transformer box near the plug end to convert it from alternating current to direct current? Similar to what you see on laptops (but hopefully smaller).

Or better yet .... a pass thru interchangeable ends so you can have both. I am sure it would cost more but the convenience would be worth it for some people. I am guessing that it either isn't possible b/c it would have been done already or it is cost prohibitive.

It's "possible" but it's cost prohibitive. Yes, you would need a brick very similar to a laptop brick. Something along the size of a netbook brick. Many routers are 2-2.5A @ 5v DC, so you can look at their bricks and wallworts.

V4L had a wall adapter and an automotive adapter. The wall adapter is out of stock - but it was underspec'd for the "premium" cartomizers. The automotive adapter is in stock with a claimed 2A which is fine.

I have one of them and 3 wall chargers and very glad to have them and the price for them is right on....will all the prices are right n everything they have,,,and you give discount all the time and I ty for them,,,,you guys rock,,,,,

Well how much would a 4volt PT cost? $42? I would buy one if they outlast the batteries. Cost is not really as important when there is a loss of quality. That has been brought up before. It could even have something to do with why many things can't stay consistent. Would I pay double? triple? I would be willing to pay between three and five times as much for consistency and functionality, wouldn't you?

But I don't know all the details yet. I only know now that it would not fit in the PT--and it would cost...still doesn't seem like a prohibitive problem, to me.
