TBH with you Ian i have no idea how long a rope will last, but i am guessing quite a few tankfulls and then it will probably only need torching to get rid of any gunk build up.

It should almost last forever, or at least, longer than mesh. I think it's marine grade, so it's set-up to resist sea water. Like you say mate, quick blast with the torch and use again. I reckon it's more likely to unravel before it goes off as a wick

I've had the same e-mail myself from FT, it might persuade me to buy a nemesis mixed brass mod - even though I wasn't gonna buy any more mods

Ian i nearly forgot to tell you, they also sent me a metre of 7 X 19 grade as a freebie, don`t know whats going on but i also got 25 meters of kanthal ribbon free with my last order. (not complaining)

This is how i did mine Ian, exactly the same way. Build: Stainless Steel Rope with Ekowool Sleeve - YouTube

I just re-coiled it before installing it in the tank, I found this way you will wrap a better coil as you aren`t working around the pos post. any way i kept the same rope and eko sleeve and wrapped 4 loops of .27 kanthal, and it comes in at 1.1 ohms. I didn`t expect it to be much better but how wrong was i, now i am getting even more flavour, vapour and the throat hit is just right. Ian get ready for a nice treat mate.

I've finally got my Itaste MVP v2 from FT and it is a FANTASTIC device. Still love my Vamos but this is a game-changer for me. My Vamos will still sport the RG500 though - it seems to work better on them.

So that's me sorted - the MVP is my device of choice from now on.

I've been pleased with mine as well, e-pipeman. We're all wondering how long the internal batteries will be lasting and i believe one person took his apart and posted the internals to see if the batteries could be replaced =]

As a matter of interest i'm using a RH Herc which is unvapeable @ 6W on the MVP and ok @6-7W on the SVD (imminent tactile switch failure) have you noticed any difference between them in VW at the same power setting between your Vamo and MVP? I really like the form factor and would love a Nivel powered box mod

I decided to re-build my taifun today with a micro coil and cotton 1.8 ohms. Filled her up with some new "kent" tobacco from here LT Ecigs and i have to say it is lovely, a very flavoursome tobaccoish vape with plumes of vapour.

I got some tobacco flavours just so i can have a change from the fruity ones i normally use, and i have to tell you it is a welcome change.

Took with me four of those lovely tiny 450 mah ego batts from FT and an Ego C+ (about 1100 mah). Dripped with all of them and no probs at all vaping over there (a great country btw).

It was recommended by a few vapers so I got one to cover me as my dying bought in Oct SVD was on its way out. I'm afraid that I don't know what an RH Herc is - otherwise I'd be more than happy to help.

I think the "roughness" of the Vamo is better suited to some toppers eg RG500. That's just too easy a vape on the MVP, by which I mean a bit less satisfying. Maybe the rattlesnake helps this one?

I've always fancied going there myself - mainly for the diving (I'm a qualified Advanced Diver), so Egypt and the Great Barrier Reef are 2 places I have to go to at some point.

Here is a Rainbow Heaven Hercules, its an Ithaka clone

I was just asking what ever RBA you use do they vape different between the MVP and Vamo at the same VW power output the SVD seems to be smoother i kind of assumed because there both made by innokin there power delivery would be the same. I see you say rougher on the Vamo and smoother on the MVP.

I guess i need to measure and analyse outputs from each unit or watch Busardos YouTube reviews for each unit.
