I will consider that Ian when i go to order a new one. Thing is i prefer the 18350 mods me, the caravela is an exellent sized mod it fits perfectly in my hand, without feeling too uncomfortable if you know what i mean.

Yep I know what you mean mate, I like a mod to be comfortable - but it's more about not slipping in my hand that I prefer. I end up gripping too tight, so I can't chain vape then. It gets uncomfortable after a while.

Vapes nice. Draw is a little tight, and as your mouth is really close to the top coil it is a little warm, but not bad. Looking at the iClear 10 there is no way I can see to rebuild it, or for that matter clean and dry burn. Inside the tank it is all metal, the silicone is in the mouthpiece. Once it clogs up, which will be a while with limited use, I am going to try to take it apart. Did fine some smaller ones at FT and ordered 5 of them, along with some other stuff I really didn't need. :)

One thing I like about the EP, the 510 connection is spring loaded, can't screw an atty down too much and push the pin down. Not sure why they didn't do that with the VV V3.0. Or for that matter why everyone doesen't do it, then you wouldn't have to pry it up when you screwed something down too much.

Yep I know what you mean mate, when I rebuild a Nova with cotton at lowish ohms it does tend to warm things up a lot.
I think a sprung 510 is common on a few batts but not all that many. The only thing I can think of is the manufacturers might be worried about the possibility of the spring collapsing, but it would take a fair amount of abuse for that to happen ;) Plus it's another area where voltage can drop. But with a VV device that doesn't matter as much as with a mech mod.

Only when the Missus makes me do the washing up :p

Time for some beauty sleep for me now. Only 2 days left at work now, then 9 whole days off - I thought I had a week off, but I've got 2 extras days cos it's my long weekend off at the end of my holiday week. Happy days :)

See you all later.

Well I got to looking at the empty iClear 10, at least I can wash and dry burn. The metal insides has a chimny like say an EVOD. I can take pliers and pop it off and see a coil (but I think it is dual coil), so I might can dry burn. It looks like only 3 wraps on the one i see, but it is reading 2.4 ohms? not sure about that, but I might can get a little extra life out of them with cleaning. Put it in the pen clip slot on my uniform and it looks like I just have a pen in my pocket, should work good for a stealth vape device.

Hi All,

Been a while since i've posted but I still lurk around to see how everyone is getting on.

Is eGo's going through ok now to the uk?

I've seen this:-

Registered Air Mail / Regular Air Mail

All - anywhere in the world

Cylindrical batteries - Prohibited
Built in batteries - OK
E-liquids - OK

but dont know if eGo's come under Cylindrical or built in. I think its Cylindrical?

Cheers

Not 100% sure, but i would say the cylindrical batteries are like the 18650`s 18350`s etc. so an ego would come under the built in batteries.

is there a price limit to what fast tech considers a LARGE order i will be making an almost 200 dollar order consisting of about 20 things from fast tech? is that considered a large order? including 4 mods

I don`t think there will be any limit to what you spend jeri, they are a business and want your money !:)

Glad it's working out in stealth mode mate. If you can see the coils than it should be possible to re-coil it. I'd just wait until the coil's totally un-cleanable then go for it. That way it doesn't matter if it breaks, you haven't lost out on anything :)

Jerri it might be best to split the order into a few different parcels, just to be safe. I did an order last year and split it into 3 smaller ones - items that were in stock in parcel one, items that had a 5 day lead time in number 2 and items that were due to ship in 10+ days in parcel number 3.

Yep ego's are classed as built in batteries so you should be ok mate.

Prices to look good, and is very tempting. Might wait until next payday and order a backup Vamo V5

Just be prepared for a llllloooonnnnggggg wait Shaun, probably about 3 weeks for shipping.

So on to today's update :

RM tried to deliver a parcel for me today, not got a clue what it is though - it says too large for the letterbox on the slip. The only thing I've got outstanding is 2 small juice orders now - one from Zeus and the other from AIV. I'll have to pick it up before work tomorrow, the suspense is killing me :p

Still waiting for a FT single item order from 6 Dec and the SS TGT deck for the order I placed 18 Nov and some Swiss Post stuff that has been in the UK since Monday. SGP is a bullet train by comparison ..... ;)

Waiting I've never known anything else! With the year of the horse now approaching I am staying well away. I may come back in March.

Does anyone know if the Nemesis clones are now junk?
