So today's update :

LT have shipped my flavours and PG.

Vapemesh Co have shipped my wire and SS rope.

Plus order number 1 from FT is at the packaging stage.

Happy days. Plus we're having new flooring in the bathroom and new carpet fitted on the landing tomorrow.

Bad news - I'm back at work tomorrow

Hey all... no way am i reading through hundreds of pages to catch up so ian or terry will have to fill me in on the important bits!

I've just been having a few problems with my back / pain meds hence not been here for a while. vaping-wise i have been very good though... not bought any new goodies since i was last on here, just a few juices although i do need to get myself a couple more carto tanks in the near future as i am favouring them over everything else at the moment.

Anyhow, hope you are all well :)

Cody, good to see you mate. You had us worried that you might have relapsed back onto the stinkies

Sorry to hear you're still having back problems mate. Hope you get it sorted out soon, it's been going on for ages now mate :(

Anyway, a brief synopsis :

Terry is still moaning, Lisa is still buying new stuff, Claire has turned into the invisible woman, e-pipeman calls by sometimes and I'm still spending loads on new stuff. So basically nothing has changed

Terry did discover SS rope wicks, though and kindly sent me some. It's an amzing vape even better than my preferred cotton wick.

I've bought quite a bit of new stuff - mainly Kayfun style attys, as well as some new juices from UK and US vendors.

So that's the short version mate, to save you reading for hours

Hope you get sorted soon mate, Terry has really missed you :firefox:

Tell you what we'll do Cody, we'll put a big :censored: sign at the top of the post, then you can just skip through them without being tempted

Have you thought about trying NET or WTA juices Lisa. Some people need the extra something that these juices can provide when their trying to quit completely.

But it's pointless beating yourself up if you have an occasional ciggy. You'll get there eventually :)

 love it mate

If he sends his tanks to me, I'd have to insist on his bagua and Vari being in the parcel - simply to test the tanks on you understand (for at least a month) :p:laugh:

========================

I've sorted all my vape gear out today. Labelled up all my little bags with the parts inside them, so I know which spares are for which atty/mod. Can't believe how much gear I've got when it's all laid out on a table. The Wife walked in, tutted and walked back out again

Also, I've had a look at the Fogger Burnie sent me, it did need the airflow adjustment sorting out in the base, but the positive post was set up ok - so no shorts there. So that's good news, next step is coil up the beast :D

My modified mod stand works too, it aint pretty, but it does the job ok. I'll post a picture in a minute.

I have just been watching a couple of vids re fogger airflow probs. do you find it difficult seperating the base Ian ?

I hear you. I tried 18 when I started back over 4 months ago, after a week I knew it was not enough, so I went to 24. But in the evening when drinking a "Few" beers I have to go to 36. I also keep a tank of 36 with me at all times for those Life Stresses. I have one of those mini mag light cases on my belt with an EGO 650 mAh battery and EVOD loaded with 36 all the time. All I am saying is, if it is not enough, try bumping it up a little, and when there are problems, have one even higher to get you through them. But always remember, any stinkies you Don't Smoke is a good thing, and don't beat yourself up if you do smoke some, just keep trying, You CAN Do It.

:vapor:

I've ordered some house brewed NET, a Turkish, Perique, and a house RY4 PLUS some shisha flavored fruit flavors :p I got an apple martini shisha sample ages ago and it was magnificent! Oh, and I got the tobacco at 24mg. Many months back, I had dropped from 18mg to 12mg to 6mg and started smoking. I bumped back to 12mg, but the 18mg tore my throat up too much. Now I am 100% 18mg, but I only get 2 stealth breaks with a few puffs in a restroom stall during an 8 hour shift, so I'm going to try the higher nicotine then.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder about the NETs!

And... for you trying to make trouble up there... I collect fairly cheap items, that man up there has THREE SQUONKERS! I am just looking at my first :p

No mate the base came apart easily enough with 2 pairs of mole grips, I've heard some people say they did it without the grips. Oh and it does unscrew the normal way, it's not reverse threaded. The hard part is getting it back together again.

Keep going mate, you may catch up with lisa.:) nice collection though, shame about the pic.

My hand must have been shaky, plus the windowsill could do with a clean - must tell the Wife :p

One day, I'll do a photo of all my gear. I'll need a bigger lens though

Well i got a couple of updates - first off, I managed to do the airflow on the fogger last night. I don`t understand what the manufacturers were thinking when the produced these things. The disc which is supposed to have a notch cut out (which gives airflow) was completely 360 degrees round, so it is no wonder i was struggling with it.

Anyhoo i cut a notch out, replaced it and held it in place with a pin stuck through one of the airholes and tightened it all up. I managed to chew up the base a little with the mole grips, but hey who cares it is only noticeable if you look very closely. And the A/F control ring won`t close now, but i prefer it fully open anyway so no prob.

Filled her up with key lime, took a pull and wham bam. A lovely loose draw just how i like it, Tons of flavour and vapour "job done"

Next---My butane torch and the kayfun dropped through my letterbox this morning (Tracking had not updated again) So i will get it cleaned out and see if i can get it coiled tonight with a micro and cotton. Ian-what method do you use for filling your kayfun ? can you fill it from the top then tip it upside down like when filling the rocket ???

This reminds me... I got 3 torches from FastTech $5.37 Honest 503 Pen Style Butane Jet Torch and Lighter - with easy-adjust switch at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping, but they are quite large and unwieldy. I need to find a small handheld one that is easier for me to control :/

they are quite a bit more expensive on Amazon, Amazon.com: butane torch so I will probably grab another from FastTech...

Do any of you have a FastTech butane torch that isn't so large and hard to handle? the handheld ones, like this one $16.12 HONEST Zinc Alloy Butane Jet Torch Lighter - max. 1200'C at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping is what I am thinking of.

Well, I've found this one http://www.amazon.com/GasOne-Self-I...&qid=1390320041&sr=8-12&keywords=butane+torch so I may just grab it stateside since all I need to do is heat wire and clean a coil.

I have got the honest one, the same as yours lisa. the other F/t one is a lot bigger than the honest, If you find it too large you could just use the little stand (hands free):)

That's exactly what I'd heard about the airflow problem too mate. Both of the ones I've got here have the notch cut out. But on my original one I cut out even more, I'll leave the one from Burnie standard to see if it makes any difference. Did you struggle getting the silicone o-ring back in the centre post Terry, that's what I had all the hassle with - I did replace it with another o-ring though as the original one was split.

I've filled my Kayfuns both ways mate. The one from FT I've sealed up the fill port with a screw if you remember - so I have to fill it like the Rocket from the top. You will need to screw the top of the chimney back in though. When you unscrew the top of the tank, it normal unscrews the chimney slightly too, cos the top o-ring seals on the chimney when it's all together. I always have to roll some kitchen roll up and clean inside the chimney too after filling, cos some juice gets forced past the wicks filling this way, but nothing major.

Turboflame Arc Lighter: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

The price is in pounds though, but you should be able to convert it to dollars.

Sounds like you've had a good day then mate with all that new gear arriving. Looks like a fair bit of stealth stuff there ;)

I'm doing a shipping experiment with FT too, with the batteries I ordered going through Malaysia Post - see if they get through ok.

Hope you manage to fix the SVD. I've seen the iClear 30 coils on FT if you need any.

---------------------------------------

I've only had 1 lot of vapemail today, my wire and rope from Vapemesh Co. Did have some good news at work today, found out the company owe my 2 extra days holiday - no idea why. But I'll be putting in a holiday request form :)

Yes Ian i did struggle a bit getting the centre pin insulator back in, in fact like you say that was the trickiest bit but well worth the effort IMO.

The kayfun is up and running mate and it is rocking. 1.2 ohm micro with cotton, filled with the last of my pinacolada :( a couple of primer puffs, and she is like the old puffer train (love it):D

Ian-I just need to know the order of the screws on the base ie from left to right is it ???

Well Focalecig sent the wrong batteries :(

I ordered
$15.60 EGO 900mAh 0.6" LCD Voltage Adjustable Rechargeable Battery for Electronic Cigarette-Black/Silver(2-PCS)
Notice Voltage Adjustable

I got 2 of these (black/silver)
$8.15 EGO 900mA Rechargeable Electronic Cigarette Battery with LCD(Random Color)
Notice Voltage NOT Adjustable.

Sucks after a 24 day wait. I emailed them, but cost wise it will not be worth it to send them back, and also wait 2 months to get a replacement. One thing about FT (so far) they have always send what I ordered, might be lower quality than I expected, but the right item.

Well someone who DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, already tried to fix it. When I get time I will see if I can fix what they FU, but it will take a bit of time. Still I got the longer tube and a iClear30, so I didn't loose really. He also paid $6.20 of that $15 to ship it to me. I may take it all the way apart just to see how it ticks, then use the pieces to build some kind of mod.

I think I had more trouble with that insulator cos mine was broken, so put a new one in which was probably a bit larger.

Glad that the Kayfuns working well for you mate.

The screws are from left to right :

Flat head screw - air flow adjuster (that I haven't got a driver small enough to fit)
Oval hole - is the actual airhole.
Deeply recessed hole - is the ball bearing fill port (but mine didn't have the ball in place - so I stuck a screw in there to block it off)

Is that what you mean mate ??
