my first name is ron and there wasn't any kissing and making up needed it was me i was a knob i just was fed up

Well Ron, welcome to the thread that occasionally has fasttech related items on it. But most of the time it's just me and Terry ribbing each other, Lisa posting up the massive new orders that she gets on a daily basis, Burnie being the sensible one of the bunch, Cody buying solid gold vape gear and Claire being friendly to all of us. We're like one big dysfunctional family really

Anyway, if you need a good moan about anything and just want to vent - this is a good place to do it. We'll probably just ignore it :p:laugh:

Seriously though, we're a friendly bunch. Any questions just ask mate.

------------------------------------------

Right I'm outta here. Got a fairly early start tomorrow, got conned into doing some overtime. See you all later.

Well I'm glad to see that everyone has kissed and made up :firefox:

Not been home from work long so I've had a few posts to catch up on.

What's your first name turnippits ??

It's a rule of my thread that we all go by first name terms

I'm Ian by the way, you already know Terry, Lisa and Burnie. Plus there's Cody and sometimes Claire on here.

If you need any spare evods just give me a yell, I'm pretty sure I can sort you something out. We like to help each other out here, but I guess you already know that from the juice jhalliwell sorted out for you

If you ever need any help with your vape gear too, we're always glad to help mate.

================

Anyway, I'm a bit peed off with FT at the moment. They were supposed to be sending my second order off on the 27th Jan - when the Poldiac came back in stock. Now the posting date has changed to the 10th Feb, cos of their blooming holidays :(

It says on most of their orders now ian, last time i was looking it said something daft like shipped in 69 days :p

my name is ron i lost my job at xmas
i am 52 and started smoking very young at about 9 the last few years i was up to 60 cigs a day
my job was a coach driver i had done this for the last 12 years and before that i was a tv engineer i worked for servicescope i am glad that i kept my tv repair case as it will come in handy rebuilding coils as it has all the pliers and meters in
i started vaping on xmas day and i have not had a analogue since
i started with a second hand ego standard battery and i can vape on and off for about 2 hours on it before it needs charging so if i am in the house i keep my charger connected to my computer and when i am not vaping i charge it
i have 1 ce4 with electricians tape around it had started to leak
i also have 1 evod ts3 with 1 replacement head
i rebuilt the evod head and it came out at 2.2 ohms so i am quite pleased with that
i vape at 24mg and i still have some fluid that jhelliwell kindly sent me
i still have aprox
8ml ry-4
4ml coffee
3ml cola
hope this essay didnt bore you but i thought you might like to have a bit of background on a new vaper that has no intention of ever smoking again

looking forward to having plenty of chats with you all and enjoying my vaping at the same time :D

Ok ron, I have dug out the nova but it only has the stock head (no spares). I will also send you the last of my silica, as i don`t use it now but there is only about 3 inches of it lol. Two evod heads, And some kanthal ribbon wire so you can get a bit of coiling done.

I will post it one day next week, not sure what day but you will get it next week.:)

We don't find anything boring Ron. It's good to know what people have been up to. Well I enjoy finding out anyway, only cos I'm a nosey bugger

Sounds like you're doing really well so far mate, your over the worst bit now. The first couple of weeks seem to be the hardest, but you're doing great so far. If your happy with recoiling the Evods and have some cotton wool lying around, have a go using that instead of the silica, you'll be amazed at the difference. Everyone on here will tell you, I always try and convert people to cotton wicks - it's the way forward ;)

:lol::lol: Love it daz, one of my favourite shows that. :D

EDIT: I see f/t now has the russian 91% in. It`s in my wishlist
$26.70 Russian 91% Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I wouldn't bother with that one mate, from what I can see it's almost identical to the Rocket, just a bit dearer.

I think with the russian you fill it from the base, going off the pics mate. It looks like there is a screw what you remove, not too sure though.

i will give the cotton a try ian i ha ve some cotton wool balls lying around

You'll be amazed at the difference Ron. It does take a bit of playing with to get it right, but when you do it's well worth the effort.

Yep you're right about the fill screw Terry. I meant the look of it to be honest. Looks like it's chrome plated brass mostly, plus it has the cheapo O-rings. It might be ok, maybe I'm becoming the vaping snob  Not had a look at the reviews either, I've just never really been a Tobeco fan.

Looks like I might be wrong mate. I think FT have taken the stock photos for the listing, it sounds like people are now getting the all stainless version now.
