Sometimes, it has around 3.6V left and I've seen that the kick2 doesnt cut out until batts are down to 2.7V but that sounds a bit low to me... not sure i would want to run it down to that extent.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/129569-rechargeable-batteries.html

They are charged fully at 4.2 volts, and must not be discharged below 3 volts or they will be damaged.

This is what I have always heard, just want to be safe. The link has a lot of info on different batteries.

It's cos I'm psychic

Did you not get a metal tank and the driptip adapter with your Kayfun order mate ??

To be honest, I quite like the look of the Kayfun with the metal tank, it looks smoother. But then I get bored after a while and change it back to the window tank

You're probably right about Lisa having the KSD, she's got one of every mod that FT ever made :laugh:

No didn`t get any extras with the kayfun mate, just on it`s own in a little plastic bag :( not bothered though it is a fantastic atty for the price.

I must have got the extra cos of all the hassle waiting for it to be posted out then - they kept on putting back the posting date for my order and sent out the extras as an apology.

Anyway, now I've checked in and bugged you all for a bit, I'm going to bow out and have a soak in the bath :D

Night all.

hi ian is it easy to make your own juice as i would like to find out how to make some ry-4 24mg 50%vg 50%pg thanks
Hey turnippits. Here's how I made the RY-4 you got.

First some links for the goods. You need some Inawera RY-4 flavour concentrate, one of each of the PG and VG and some VG based 54mg nicotine base.

To an emptry 30ml bottle add

2.1ml of RY-4 concentrate
0.62ml of pure VG
13.95ml of pure PG
13.33ml of nic base

Strength: 24 mg
PG/VG-ratio: 50/50

You might need some syringes and needles, and read all the stickies and warnings about safety on the DIY eliquid forum

Shake it all up well and store in a cool dark place for a couple of weeks, and you're good to go.

i am really happy that you replied jhelliwell as it was your recipe that i wanted really as it is the best vape i have had so far thank you very much

Looks like I wasn't quick enough Ron

DIY is fairly easy to do, just do a google search for an e-juice calculator and read plenty of the DIY threads on here. As long as you do some homework first it's pretty straight forward.

To give you an idea, it costs me about £1-1.20 to make up a 20ml batch of juice. You'll need to spend a little at first to get the mixing gear, but then you just need to replace nic solution, PG, VG and flavourings as needed.

Also start off simple, with just single flavours. Mix them til you get a juice you enjoy, then try experimenting with multiple flavours. I would suggest staying away from coffee flavours, these can be a pain in the a*se to get right.

I still buy a lot of pre-made juice, but I like my flavours really strong, so DIY fills the gap for me.

So I've been a busy boy today.

Two loads of washing done. Tidied up downstairs and did some shopping.

Once my Housewifely chores were finished, I got round to the important stuff :p

Charged up 8 batteries.
Cleaned out the Taifun and a load of juice bottles to re-use.
Re-organised my vape cupboard.
Popped a fresh wick in the Taifun and filled up with GVC.
Set up the Fogger from Burnie (finally said Terry :p).
Checked the volts in the batteries in all my mods.
Cleaned the Vmod XL and Vmod mini.

----------------------------------------

Burnie will be glad to hear the Fogger is working great. No leaks, great flavour and plumes of vapour. Got it running on a cotton micro-coil with extra cotton in the juice channels. It came out at 2.2 ohms, a little higher than I'd like, but it's running great so I'm not gonna change it now. I've got some Trip 20 in it - lovely :D

The Taifun, I built a 1.2 ohm standard coil with 2 strands of 2mm silica and 2 strands of 1mm silica (6mm of wick in total). Had to use silica, cos my GVC tastes best this way.

So quite a busy day. Was gonna mix up some juices too, but I think I've done enough now - it is my only day off after all
