Have you had chance to look at the broken SVD yet ??
Yea, and the previous owners mucked it up real good. Did get the + pin fixed and a new o-ring installed, so it does fire now. But the fire button is wonky, no click, very little travel, but it does work. Been searching for some kind of instructions or diagram of how this thing comes apart, can't find anything anywhere. I was just going to gut it and use the parts to build a custom mod. Well it will sit here and collect dust until I figure it out. Did finally get the old juice smell out of the iClear 30, now to wait for China to open again to get some coils for it. Looked state side and it is double the price for a 5 pack. I'm in no hurry, so I'll just wait till March to use it.

I think I managed to convert someone else to e-cigs today. Was up at the bus station, happily vaping away inside the building while I waited for my bus to come in so I could take over from the driver that was due a break. One of the station's cleaners was outside shivering, puffing away on a stinky. When he'd finished, he came inside and asked me about my Vmod. So I gave him my pep talk and told him where he could get a decent starter kit. He left promising me that when I see him next, he'll be vaping instead. He said he's tired of standing outside in the cold puffing away, when he could vape inside out of the wind and rain. That's a good result, not converted anyone for a while now :D
Great job mate, you saved a life today. :)

had a bad day with my ego battery today only lets me vape for about 15 mins on it now between charges so i haven't been able to go outside today i think i will have to get a replacement battery as it dont hold the charge and the paint is starting to peel with the heat i am sure if i carry on with it much longer it will blow up but thats enough about me how is everyone else getting on ian it is good to hear that you may have converted someone else power to the vape
You have to remember the golden rule, "Always have backups, and backups of your backups". Don't want to go back to the stinkies, hang in there.

Yeah eventually all batteries go that way Ron. The more you re-charge them the less vaping time you get. Ego batteries tend to last about 6-12 months from what I've read. As Burnie says, it's a good idea to have more than one battery though. I did have a couple of spare 650 egos (I don't use them anymore), but unfortunately I gave them away a couple of weeks ago. I would have posted them out to you Ron if I still had them. You can probably pick up a battery pretty cheaply in the UK or cheaper still from China - but it will take about 3 weeks to come from China.
I love converting people to vaping, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

Must admit I did have a look for wiring diagrams myself for the SVD and the Vamo, but couldn't find any. Go for the custom mod route Burnie, I know I'd want to do that :D

Anyway, it's bed time for me now. Night all.

To be honest, part of my reasoning for ordering direct was for the bigger sized bottles, I tend to go for 50 or 100ml bottles in juices I really enjoy.

As I said, I hope you don't feel I was putting your business down in any way, I just like to weigh up all the options available :D

Course not :) I'm still thinking on larger bottles but in the meantime I've setup an automatic discount for orders with 2x bottles of one flavour/strength and a slightly bigger discount for 3x bottles of one flavour/strength. It's still multiple bottles, but makes things a little cheaper.

I knew i should have stayed away from this forum... I'm already seeing various mods & attys that i think i may need in the near future!

Although I dont understand it all that well, i like the look and the rapidly growing reputation of the sophia. It appeals to me even more as you can buy replacement coils for it without the need to DIY. Not hugely expensive either and you use them in a carto tank so seems right up my street.

I've just done a quick fasttech order aswell today - nothing that i need urgently so i dont mind the wait... 90ml of liqua menthol, 60ml of liqua berry and 5 1.8ohm replacement heads for the protanks. I know the service isnt always great and you can have a very long wait before you get your stuff, but cant complain when it's so damned cheap.

I hope your over it quickly, Terry =] Took a vacation day today and used some comp time that I had from 'volunteering' over the holiday LOL The car made it home fine, so I'll be dealing with finding a replacement today.

Okay, back from the dealership. They gave me $1200 for the crap 2001 Saturn with the transmission going out and the alternator light blazing for 2 months =] Instead of the low-slung Saturn, I am now driving a BATTLESHIP of a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS. Now I have a car payment and my insurance went from $360 a year to $964 a year :/ I'll get used to the height and the sensitive breaks & steering, but my vapegear purchasing is now at an end XD

Glad you got good transportation again.

Now how are we going to know what to buy without your reviews of all the new cool stuff? :)

Of course it would take me years (or a loan on my house) to get what you have now for vape gear. :D

Well I guess you are right on the hording. I still have (from 2009/2010) old 510's, carts, blue foam, 306's, some cig pack chargers, etc., stuff the N00b's would know nothing about, but can't seem to throw it out, might can use it for something someday.

i know what you mean everyone who smoked at work now vapes our other factory is the same after spending some time onsite with one of them. even converted one of the contractors that comes in. and the mother-in-law she loves it now vapes 0mg after a lifetime of 2 packs a day.
the wife is different she has had a go a couple of times but it doesn't last. i live in hope that one day she will fully switch to vaping but don't push it because it has to be her decision.
