I'll still use my Evods and Novas sometimes when I fancy a change or can't be bothered recoiling the Kayfuns

At the moment I'm dripping the AIV liquids.

Tried - April Moon, Orange makes me Creamsickle and Bandersnatch so far. My favourite is the Creamsickle, lovely orange creaminess.

Oh thanks for reminding me ian, I have got 2 liquids which will be steeped tomorrow I`ll have to put a fresh wick in the trident:) so you gonna get some more of the orange mate ?

Ok, I keep seeing this "blackcurrant", what kind of flavor are you are talking about, what is it?

On another note, I finally got cartomizer tanks working right. Guess I was not priming them right and kept burning them, really bad taste. But then I did some more research and got it right. vaping a Smok 2.1 ohm dual coil cartomizer in a smok tank @ 10 watts, really nice, smooth, great TH, good flavor. Just hate I can't rebuild them, but I have quite a few as I got 55 of them (15 dual coil & 40 single coil) in a package deal on the classies. I guess if they last me a week or so, being in rotation with my other stuff, I have enough for a year or so.

On the broken SVD, the head is glued on, not just press fit, really buggering it up trying to get it off, and it still hasn't moved. Guess I'm going to just take the cutting wheel to it to get the guts out. I have some customers into wood work, so I'm going to design what I want and see if I can get one of them to build it for me out of wood, then I'll put all the electronics from the SVD into it. Guess it will be something on the lines of an MVP, but with an 18650 battery. I stay busy, so it may take me a year, but I do have an idea. Made use of the long tube on my good SVD as pushing 10W the 18350 batteries were getting warm, and the longer tube works better with 18650's. Still have to get some coils for the iClear30, but no rush on that as I have plenty of other stuff.

You never had blackcurrant Burnie ??

It's a type of berry, black in colour about 5mm in diameter, very sweet and fruity. Just do a google search for "Ribena" - you'll see what all the fuss is about mate.

Glad to hear you got the cartos working well, I had the same problems when I tried a DCT, was great for short quick bursts but just couldn't keep up with a heavy vaping session - perhaps if I'd opened them up a bit might have been different. But to be honest, they seemed to give a harshness to my vape. Then I found my go to attys and just stuck with them.

Maybe the SVD head would come loose with some heat, but that would probably bugger up the circuit boards etc. As long as you're getting use from the tube though and can re-use the internals, it's all good.

Oh thanks for reminding me ian, I have got 2 liquids which will be steeped tomorrow I`ll have to put a fresh wick in the trident:) so you gonna get some more of the orange mate ?

To be honest the AIV juices I'm dripping now are the 18ml bottles - part of my original order. I may get some more of the orange once I've tried it in a tank. But so far my favourite is the sample of Berry 'lil cheesecake I got free with the order. I'm saving the Zombie Apocalypse til last, cos that's the one I'm most looking forward to.

Guess not as I never heard of it. So I did a google, its a berry.

"The blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) is a woody shrub in the family Grossulariaceae grown for its piquant berries. It is native to temperate parts of central and northern Europe and northern Asia where it prefers damp fertile soils and is widely cultivated both commercially and domestically."

I don't like sweet juice so would most likely not care for it.

Guess it's more of a UK/European thing Burnie. The most popular juice drinks in the UK contain blackcurrant. You can get it with apple, strawberry etc. In fact, I'm drinking some apple and blackcurrant cordial as I type this

Over here it seems like cranberry is mixed with a lot of things, Cranapple, Crangrape, etc., and I don't like cranberry's either. :(

Yep. I smoked one brand of cig, and I vape one juice, my NET, that's it, just different mg, I make 24 and 36. 24 for during the day, and 36 for BAD DAYS, and at night when I am having a few (many) brews. No switching like most do, having 6 different tanks of different flavors, nope, just tobacco. I do add a little of my coffee extract as it boosts the flavor, without tasting the coffee really. I do have some extract from myvapejuice that is not bad, tobacco also, but it is just setting since I started making my own from tobacco leafs. I have a lot of different flavor extracts I tried, most had perfume/soap taste, or were really too sweet, I just don't care for vaping fruit, just like I don't like sweet booze drinks, I like my beer. Some day I have to get rid of some of this stuff I am never going to use, got lots of stuff I wanted to try for mixing that I just didn't like, just don't have time to fool with it right now.

When I did my last batch of flavour concentrate buying I was looking for a cranberry flavouring, couldn't find any in the UK - only ones I could find were US sourced ones. So that matches up pretty well with difference in juice drinks too.

Do you have many cordial type juices in the US Burnie ?? Where you buy a concentrated juice flavour and dilute with water. I've found when I go on holiday overseas, most of the drinks are already diluted ready to drink - unless their imported.

I think that's the great thing about this forum, so many different tastes. I've not found a tobacco flavour yet that I can honestly say I really enjoy - some have been ok, but just for occasional dripping. In my case, I guess, I see vaping as something completely different from smoking, so I wanted to get as far away from tobacco as possible - I can go through 6 or 7 pints of blackcurrant juice drink in a day, so fruit vapes seemed the logical way to go. I will be having a try at coffee extraction at some point though, all the coffee vapes I've tried so far just don't taste right. So maybe if I make my own it might be different. The only one I really enjoy is the Vapology Capuccino :D

We just get concentrates at the grocery store or Wal-Mart. Lots of different choices in the frozen section, just mix with water. There are also lots of pre-mixed choices.

Night and day to what you buy. Just use a good coffee, and let it macerate for 3 to 4 weeks, strain & filter, turns out good, IMHO

Thanks for that Burnie, I've heard it's pretty straight forward to go a coffee extract. I'll have to persuade the Missus to get some decent coffee first, we generally just use a basic instant coffee most of the time. I'll have to do some sweet talking

Excellent news mate, that arrived bloody quick :D

All the juices are Hangsen or Dekang, I just decant them in to small size bottles - bit easier to handle.

Have you had a chance to try out the ego battery yet Ron ?? Also, I'd give the 2 working Evods a good clean first, they've been sat in my vape cupboard for a while.

The juices are all from fasttech too. Their probably the best of the bunch that they sell :D

I'm glad the batts still working mate. That is amazingly quick, considering I posted it about 2.30pm yesterday :D

If you do start ordering from fasttech (as most of us here do), it can take anything from 2 weeks to 2 months. As far as I remember the 3 unworking Evods had seals missing from the coils - I pinched the seals for other tanks and mods. But if you're replacing the coil heads they should be fine - or just keep them for spare parts.

I should have done some re-wicking myself today, but ended up doing other stuff instead :(
