Almost Exactly the same, just a different product. I don't use any ready to smoke tobacco products, no telling what they added. I use the natural tobacco leaf. I tear up the leafs into small pieces removing the stems so it soaks up the PG better. When ready to process (a month at least), different than coffee, I squeeze it in a potato ricer to get as much juice as possible out of the leaf, then coffee filter, then cotton ball.

I got a 1/4 pound sample of Virginia Flue Cured from Leafonly (link below), and I haven't even used half of it, and I don't think I will need to make any more until next year sometime, a little goes a long way. I paid less than $10 shipped to me here in Florida, no idea if they will ship to GB.

Great stuff mate. The other Evods I got have all got cotton wicks in them. So much better flavour than silica. I've heard that you can actually sand the colour off the tanks and take them back to metal, but I've never tried it myself.

How long do you reckon the rope will last for Terry. I think it will last for months, there's no sign of unravelling or discolouration on mine yet.

So you been cleaning your kraken then - don't worry, I won't even go there

That's very optimistic Jason. More like 4-5 weeks knowing fasttech

Seriously though, they've only just come back from the Chinese New Year holiday, so that will probably add a bit of time to the delivery. The worst part is once the order is posted, most postal services from there are really ssssssllllooooowww. You've got plenty of stalking the tracking site to come

Sorry to shock you mate

We do have a coffee maker somewhere in the back of a cupboard. Must admit, I do like stronger coffee as a treat, the ones with high Arabica bean content. In fact, I can problem pinch some decent ground beans from my Sister - she grinds her own coffee quite a lot, I'll have to pay her a visit.

Sounds pretty easy to do an extraction, thanks for the tips

In all honesty Ian i have no idea how long the rope lasts for. but same as you, i still have the originals in the i atty and the kraken, just change the cotton now and then. (brilliant:D)

I think I might do an experiment at some point. Leave the same rope in the aga and change the one in the RSST, see if it makes any difference. I honestly don't think it will make any difference though. I've still not changed any of the wick/coil in either device yet - their still both going strong, probably jinxed myself now

I'm a tinkerer mate, what can I say

To be honest, for me, nothing is ever perfect, there's always a bit of room for improvement. I get bored too easily, when things are exactly the way I want them - I'm strange like that :p

Too true mate.

I'll have to retire now anyway. Back in work tomorrow, ferrying the great unwashed around

I do have Thursday off though, but then working again for 7 days straight - I hate working Sundays :(

You know Ian i may

take you up on the offer of the 1.5 rope, the reason being this. the wick hole in the kraken is 2.9 mm so the 2 mm wick is great. but the i atty wick hole is sommat like 2.4 or 5 not sure, so it doesn`t wick as well as the kraken.

No probs Terry. I've probably got a lifetime's supply of the rope so I can pop some in the post for you mate, along with the blackcurrant and the choco/caramel and the pinacolada and the cuddly toy

Have you got the Fogger up and running already Ron ??

I bet you hugged the postie when he arrived mate :p

It is suprising the difference though when you move up from an ego to a mod - it can be addictive though

Oh don`t bother with the choco caramel mate, bit to sickly for me that. I will have the rest though including the cuddly toy.:D
yes i have got the fogger up and running well terry set it up before he posted it and yes what a difference it is and i love it :vapor:

Ron, the micro coil in the fogger should last you a long time mate. all you will have to do is change the cotton now and again. remove the old wick carefully (with tweezers) dry burn the coil, blow off the crap and re-wick job done.

The reason i am saying this is, the fogger is quite difficult to coil. In fact it took me about an hour the first build i did. I would also advise you to watch some you tube vids on wicking the fogger as is isn`t as straight forward as an evod etc.

Must admit the Fogger is a bit of an awkward build to do Ron, so it's probably a good thing that Terry's set it up already. They are prone to flooding from the airholes, so keep an eye out for that mate. But when their set-up right, it's an amazing vape. The best vaping toppers do tend to need a bit more maintenance than anything else - a bit like top end performance car - they need servicing more, but the drive is amazing :D

In a while you'll be like me mate, I'm on first name terms with my postie
