We're a proper double act

------------------------

:offtopic: Think I'll have to do some tank cleaning and re-wicking tomorrow - the jobs that I should have done on mon or tues. My Reo has a bit of a trickle down the side and my Taifun has started doing the same thing. Think I'll do some airhole drilling as well, while I'm at it. Open up the aga and the RM2 for the Reo.

One thing i noticed about the taifun Ian is, when the tank gets low it does start to seep a bit from the airhole. I am not joking i went to re-fill mine when it got low on juice, un-screwed it and it popped like a champagne cork. That is some pressure build up.:p

I popped a fresh wick in it the other day, but kept the same coil in there. Filled it up with GVC, vaped it for about half an hour, then it started dribbling a little bit, so the tank is almost full mate.

I did knock it over though, before the dribble started, so maybe the coil has moved :( I'll check it out tomorrow anyway. I know what you mean about the pressure though Terry, I had to use a towel to get some extra leverage to open it up, it was really tight.

Must admit, I have noticed if I'm chain vaping a topper with a smaller airhole sometimes I do get a bit of seepage. The RSST was a prime example, now I've opened up the airhole it's a lot better.

Well I have been busy today. Started off charging batteries and cleaning out tanks. Washed out the Kayfun from Desire Ecig, the aga, the Fogger, the Reo and RM2 and finally the Taifun.

I've been doing some modifying too :) :

Taifun Found there was some serious gunk in the airhole, that was causing the dribbling, cleaned it out, put in a 3 strand 1mm ekowool wick, standard coil at 1.2 ohms, filled back up with GVC - sorted :D

Reo and RM2 Drilled out the airhole to 1.5mm, popped in a new cotton nano coil at 1.4 ohms, plumes of cappuccino vapour

aga Drilled out the airhole to 1.5mm, popped in a new cotton sleeved micro coil using 1.5mm SS rope at 1.7 ohms, even better vape than before ;)

Kayfun lite clone from Desire Ecig Drilled the fixed airhole in the base out to 2mm (had to use a diamond tipped bit for this), popped in a cotton nano coil at 1.0 ohm, filled up with some Belgian Waffle and Maple Syrup (basically I just mixed the Waffle and Syrup juices from JJ together), outstanding vape now, really pleased with this atty now, cos it needed a bit of work doing

Fogger Realised when I was cleaning it that it had a hairline crack in the glass (so I'll have to get a new tank from FT). Rewicked with a cotton nano coil plus 2 single strands of 1mm silica flavour wicks, filled up with Lemon Meringue Pie, vaping great, but next time I'll try a single flavour wick, the draw is a bit too tight now.

So all in all a busy day for me

:Dhappy vaping there ian enjoy yourself after all that work you just need them to work properly for awhile or untill you want to do someting different to them;)

I'm just gonna chill out and relax for the rest of the day now, it's been a really productive one so I'm pretty happy about that. I'm busy fogging up the living room as we speak. Think I might log off for a while now and watch a film or two, see you later Ron :D

They do have one with a replaceable battery, but only one design. I think these are going to be popular down the road, so we might see some improvements.

X.Fir X.Gun VV/VW Wood Mod : Vision Electronic Cigarette, Original Manufacturers
Well I could not stand it, had to order an X-Gun, for $16 more I went DHL so I would not have to wait FOREVER, with freight almost $86, but you only live once. Searched around on Google, could not find it elsewhere. Well It's only Money.

That's a fine looking piece Burnie. You really seem to be getting into the wooden mods at the moment :D

Have you sketched out any plans yet for your custom design one ??

Yea, I have fallen in love with the wood ones. Still have to figure out a topper for this one, specs say 27.5mm, that's huge, but being wood, should not be heavy. I'm thinking an IBTanked 25mm which will be close. Also found a couple on FT that might work.
$4.91 Calabash Style Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.8mL) - 2.4ohm
$5.42 Calabash Style Bottom Coil Clearomizer (6.0mL) - 2.4ohm / 19mm bottom dia.

Not yet, been thinking about it, that's about all. Still haven't had time to cut apart the broken SVD, might be able to this weekend.

Wow that is a large diameter, most of the tanks I use are around the 22-23mm mark.

Of the two FT ones, I'd probably go for the larger capacity one. I think the proportions will be better suited - it will look totally different that's for sure

I think the wood love is contagious, I've just been having a look at some of the wooden box mods on here  Even though I don't need any more mods, it's always good to do some window shopping.

Sounds like you've got it well sussed out mate :)
To be honest, most of us on here do the same - we wait for someone else to try new stuff out first and review it.

Glad you're enjoying the pineapple Ron, I've still got half a tank left in one of my Kayfun's. But it's a bit much for me now in 24mg, so I'm not chain vaping it anymore.

No real news today. Just had an early start today at work, had to be up for 4.30. Did a 5.15 til 2pm shift, then the cheeky buggers asked me to do some overtime til 6.30pm. No chance, I was knackered at 2pm  Let someone else have the extra money. Plus I'm working every day now til next Friday.

That's the thing mate, no matter how much you know, there's always someone else on here that can give you a tip or slightly better method of doing things and their all willing to help - it's the friendliest forum I've ever been on :D

Eventually you might get to the stage where you've got at least 6 different flavours on the go at once. I wonder who already does that - looks in the mirror
