Well could not stand NOT having an order coming from FT, but I really didn't need anything except some iClear30 coils for a tank I have never used. So I looked at some vids of a couple of flashlights I can use my old trustfire 14500 & 18650 batteries in, and WoW those are some bright lights.

SK98 for 18650 batteries

So I Ordered

$6.93 SIPIK SK68 Cree Q3-WC 120-Lumen Convex Lens LED Flashlight - 1 x AA / 1 x 14500
$9.45 UltraFire SK98 XM-L T6 3-Mode 600-Lumen Zooming LED Flashlight - 1 x 18650 / with clip
$3.12 PLATO #170 Flush Cutter - max.040" (1mm) dia copper Wire
$6.46 Authentic Innokin Coil Heads for iClear30 Clearomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.0ohm / dual heating coil

Oh don`t bother with the choco caramel mate, bit to sickly for me that. I will have the rest though including the cuddly toy.:D

Well that's a relief mate, I used the last of my chocolate making the mix, so I only managed to do 30ml - I was gonna split it between us (90% for me 10% for you :p), I can vape it all now
The blackcurrant smells great though, the colour hasn't moved yet, but it's only been a couple of days so far.

That's more like a police helicopter search light than a torch

The spooky thing is though, the doorway at the beginning of the video, looks identical to the room we had in Portugal for our last holiday. I was convinced it was the same place, until he started going up the stairs

Did you see the one above that post of the SK98 that uses 18650's? That's why I ordered them as I could not believe how bright they were, and for the price from FT, and a use for my old batteries, well I had to order them.

I've never been on the wrong end of the searchlight mate, I used to have a part time job cleaning the lenses as a kid :p:laugh:

and there was me thinking we were only here to wind each other up

Well mostly that Ron. But occasionally we can be serious - not very often though ;) It's normally Terry that starts it off though

Yeah I did see the first vid mate. You wouldn't think such a small battery could give so much output. A friend of mine (who lives on a farm), has a lantern with a separate battery pack and it's not as bright as that. He needs a powerful light, when he's out catching rabbits - so I'll pass the link on to him. Will save him having to carry such a huge unit around at night :)

We're a proper double act

------------------------

:offtopic: Think I'll have to do some tank cleaning and re-wicking tomorrow - the jobs that I should have done on mon or tues. My Reo has a bit of a trickle down the side and my Taifun has started doing the same thing. Think I'll do some airhole drilling as well, while I'm at it. Open up the aga and the RM2 for the Reo.

If he is shooting the rabbits, I would just tape the SK68 to the bottom of the gun, blind them with the light, then pop, rabbit stew. :)

does it need maintaining when it starts to trickle is that one of the signs that maintenance is required

To be honest, he doesn't shoot them. He hunts them at night with ferrets and traps them humanely. The gun laws are really strict over here, plus he's a terrible shot - couldn't hit a barn door at ten paces  Must admit though, the couple of times I've been out with him, we've caught over 30 rabbits in a couple of hours - keeps the larder well stocked up.

It usually means that it's wicking too much and the coil is a bit gunked up, so it's not vapourizing the juice properly. The juice seeps into the airhole below the coil and eventually to the outside. Sometimes, just rasing the coil a little helps. But I normally just do a rebuild when I start to get a bit of juice coming out.
