Enjoy your two towers mate :D

Fraid it's time for me to hit the sack now, work always seems to get in the way. Don't know if I'll be able to sleep though with this nic buzz. Until tomorrow, vape on

I like it mate good night, don`t be dreaming about steam trains now:)

One thing i forgot to mention when dripping Ian is vaping style. What i mean by that is...when you take a draw, don`t just pull like you do with an evod etc. Draw directly into your lungs.you need an airy tank to do this, so get that airhole opened up mate, and give it a go.

I'm gonna get the drill out on my day off on Thursday.
But before then, I'm gonna try out the other drippers and ithaka first.

Thanks for the tip about inhaling too mate. To be honest, when I try a new delivery device, I always do a few sample draws first - draw into the mouth and let it straight out without inhaling. This usually gives me a good idea about the taste, vapour production and tightness of the draw.
I'd never take a massive hit on a new device, straight into the lungs, I'd probably explode
Appreciate the help though mate

Well I've just had a try with the V9 dripper (the one with 3 airholes). Getting some serious vapour off this one, but the draw was way too tight. So I lifted the top part of the body up so it was only half covering the internal air hole. Made sure the internal airhole was set at the right position between the two wicks. WOW, nearly fogged out the kitchen with a light draw

I've put it to one-side for now, til I can open up the 3 outer airholes and get my lower strength nic juice. I know using it the way I was, would be too much for me

On a positive note the batteries, wire, ecowool etc have all shipped today from vapegear, so with a bit of luck it should be here tomorrow, I can start using my new Paps then

I knew I'd be off here for a while so had to do an update that you could really get your teeth into

I'm really impressed so far with the drippers, even with the fog machine V9 in "not quite set up right" mode.
When I drill out the holes I'm gonna make each one slightly bigger than the last, say 1mm 2mm and 3mm - that way it will be properly adjustable. I don't really see the point of having all holes the same size. With the single hole v10 dripper, think I'll open up the airhole into a slot instead, see if that makes a difference - it will be similar to the ithaka then :D

Good idea with the V9 mate, that would make it similar to the trident i think.

I personally wouldn`t put a slot in the V10 though, I would imagine that would make it just way too airy. But it`s totally up to you mate :)

Pretty sure the V9 would work out ok.
But I've had another look at the V10. I was thinking it was the same as the V9 with inner and outer airholes - but it isn't. So change of plan with the V10, I'm just gonna drill an extra hole on the opposite side of the tube, one for each wick. What do you reckon ??

Well here goes today's update. I'll split it in two for ease of reading.

Part One.

Got my tracking number today for the bagua clone from the co-op I was in. So it's on it's way from the USA now.
Both outstanding orders from FT have now been shipped.
My juice samples from megavape have been posted by Royal Mail 1st class.
RM tried to deliver my batteries, wire etc from vapegear today, but no-one home. So I'll pick it up tomorrow after work.

So that's the good news

Part Two

Now for the bad news :

Tried the ithaka today. Used Scott's review of the genuine Ithaka for guidance, as I'd taken it all apart to clean it.

Got everything set up. But the coils were taking ages to glow when dry burning/breaking in.
Added some juice, got a few good draws, good flavour but not a lot of vapour and very airy.

So I closed up the airflow adjuster - nothing at all, golf ball through a straw, you get the idea.

Half opened the airflow and opened the juice adjuster a little. Took a draw and all the whole contents of the tank emptied onto my mech, almost 2ml of juice, the rest went into my mouth

It's now being cleaned again. Gonna do a fresh coil and check all the washers on my day off, got a good idea what went wrong. But after that experience, I'm leaving it alone for a while :(
