That's ART
...and that's why he could

Hope everything goes well, long time since I had sedation though, back when they still used gas, funny that was, while I was out, I dreamt that I was in a dentist, and when they tried to bring me out of it, I thought it was part of the dream, so wouldn't wake up for ages.
It looked like Propofol that they used on me - it was white and they used 8ml. Topped it up at least once, but that's all I remember. Son (who has seen more than his fair share of addicts as a police officer) started laughing when he saw me - apparently my pupils showed very clearly that I'd had a drug administered! A sleep for an hour after we got home and I was fine.
I was so relieved and happy with the painless experience that I sent the dentist some flowers - she was delighted as no-one had ever bothered to do anything like that before. She deserved them though because she was extremely patient and reassuring. Made a huge change from people telling me not to be silly!

see my added bits above, taste is a weird thing though, NT Snickerdoodle - I wasn't keen on this when i first tried it I liked it, then after letting it steep for about 3 weeks, it tasted yucky, but after leaving it for about 3 months it now tastes lovely, so i'm glad I did order some more.
I have the GCD from NT in max VG ...I find it a bit powerful/rich so I dilute it with either custard or Confusion. I just tried the Steamgunk Snickerdoodle that CV make for me in VG, and that's really nice. I find their Captain Custard a bit mild though but added two drops of the CV Rebranded Range Malaga Ice Cream flavouring to the tank and it's lovely! :)

Be nice to try the Strix - I got the Black Honey Cream because I've never had a blueberry that I've liked.
The Espresso may well need something added - I often do that with coffee ones. Again, Confusion works well as does a mild custard. (there's a couple of the MB ones that look like they'd be excellent for mixing with things like GCD and Coffee ones)
Smitten sounded rather nice, as did Sunshine.
I've had a couple of Vanilla Ice Cream ones that have been too mild for me, so perhaps this stronger one will be good! :)

I lost most of mine before I was 50, mainly down to smoking of course.

One of the first thing he asked me was "do you smoke" To which i replied, i have not smoked for nearly 2 years. He asked, how many did you used to smoke and i said between 20-30 roll up`s a day. You should have seen the look of horror on his face.

He then went on to explain that although it doesn`t happen to everyone, smoking actually kills gum tissue, and bone in your jaw. Brilliant, thankyou golden virginia.

I know you say you haven`t really found a blueberry one which you really like trish, but if you do ever order from MT i would say definitely try the blue moo. One flavour shot, and with every draw you get a lovely mouthfull of blueberries and cream, and it is very creamy. :)

I absolutely hate when so called health professionals feign ghastly surprise at such a thing - it's well known that some people smoke a few a day, some up to 60.
Our GP (the one we're determined never to see again) once asked me that question, and I replied 25. He stuck his face forward, dropped his jaw, eyes wide in horror, and uttered 'Eh!?' - and I'd deliberately not told him I smoked 35 per day! (I had done in the last two years I smoked). I thought it a juvenile and stupid attitude for a doctor to take. He looked at me as though I'd just told him I was an alien from a far flung planet. ...not too unlike this:
Very unprofessional and not what you'd expect from a middle aged man.

Does sound nice ..as long as it doesn't have that thick over-stewed fruit taste I've had before with blueberry

Yeah i know what you mean trish, the thing is, is that some of these doctors have a worse lifestyle than some of there patients  Yet they are still quick to point out the bloody obvious to us.

It really is good trish, and i think they have got the balance of fruit and cream perfect.:)
By the way, have you been asked/told not to use e-cigs etc. for a week after?
WHAT, Is that after dental treatment ???

When you think about it, they're downright rude. Sactimonios, and as you say, likely worse habits than we've had! (I do know of one GP who picks arguments on a forum (not this one) because she drinks in the evenings! -she's really unpleasant).

This GP of ours comes from a part of the world where drinking is often frowned upon, and likely smoking too, but I think he likes all the worldly things ..he's always had a car with personal number plates on it that would pay for half a house! Has been known to make younger female patients feel uncomfortable too! He's currently under investigation for negligence or misdiagnosis ..one of the two (No big surprise to us!)

Thankfully, the days when we accept anything a doctor says are fast disappearing!

In that case .....

Depends which teeth are being extracted and how much of a socket is left as to how long a dentist will prefer you to refrain. Some will say 24 hours, others up to a week - a week most likely for wisdom teeth. Causing a vacuum in the mouth by smoking or vaping can cause a condition called dry socket, and apparently, it's terribly painful! This is just one thread on the subject - I've seen others.

If you've not mentioned it and prefer not to, take great care and draw slowly and carefully, as lightly as you can for a couple of days.

You're welcome Terry - you've had enough trouble with teeth already without getting any more!

I just had a lovely slice of homemade key lime pie and it was gorgeous! Never had any before. Son and his wife made it using 8 limes! ....now I'm seeking out a good key lime e-liquid! ...why do I always think of that these days when eating a nice dessert

...and when you come back, you know how I want to make a couple of small bottles of e-liquid ...and I want to go with 10ml bottles for something I feel pretty sure about ...well, I have a flavouring that states to use up to 3% ...I tried using two-three drops in a 1.8ml tank and it's fine ...certainly not too much!
So, what is 3% of 10ml  ...is it 0.3 of a ml ? (never was much good with antything like that!) 10, 20, 30% etc is fine, but 3 makes me frown

I know, it`s great isn`t it. Must admit though, i didn`t think of e-liquid while eating my dinner. Roast lamb with carrot and potato mash, yorkshire pudding, sprouts and gravy.

Joose juice do a lovely key lime trish, ask Ian or ron, as i sent them both some. I think it was ronnie who said they offer extra flavour shots now as well. do you want the link trish ? i am sure i can dig it out for you. :)

Off the top of my head trish, if you said 10% of 10 ml would be 1 ml, so half of that would give you 5%, and half again would give you 2.5%. I will look at the calculator for you later on trish to get a more accurate estimate.

I haven`t downloaded it on to this laptop yet though. In the meantime someone else might be able to help a bit more than i can.:)

That's the way I was thinking and arrived at 0.3ml - not that I'm sure how to measure that!

S'okay, I can wait - no hurry :pop:  ...not going to do it today, just wanted to know how so I know what I'm doing!

Right done it on the calculator. 10 ml @ 6mg strength, with 3% flavouring is 6 drops trisha. A bit easier for you to do it in drop form.:)

...no, 'Sunday Dinner' isn't my idea of a tasty one! .....I'm hungry now ...having pasta tonight!

I just found it - it's just lime, not the pie and cream type :) plus, the highest VG they do is 70%, so I'd need the concentrate instead of ready made from them anyway. I see that CV did have two concentrates (One on One & DV Concentrates), but both sold out! :(
No worries, could probably buy them direct online at some point. I do see Decadent Vapours have a Key Lime Pie.

Anyway, I just filled the Nautilus mini with the Mont choc Vapetto ...if that's a mini I wouldn't like a standard size one! The Vapetto doesn't taste quite as nice in it though - was nicer in the Unitank (one of the leaky ones) I'll persevere, change the watts a bit and see if it improves. Nice that the Acrylic drip tip from the Unitank fits it nicely! ...and it's tasting better at 8w

Trish 1ml is 20 drops so .3ml would be about 6 drops, as to how may a day, was talking to a guy at Vapefest yesterday who admitted to smoking 100 a day , I think the most I ever got up to was 30, and always cut back to 25 or less if I reached that amount.

Terry, when I had my last 3 out a few months back, my dentist told me I should be careful with the vaping, so what I did was take lung hits rather than throat hits, but mine were all at the front, and they seemed to heal a lot quicker this time than ever before, used to always get infections when I smoked.

Terry, you're a star - thank you! drops sound easy! Do I need an extra drop for VG? ...I do know NT do double flavouring on their max VG.

I'll be using some of my ready made 0.6mg VG first! It's LT.

I'm not sure if all VG is equal from good companies, but something with CV's ready made ones are far less troublesome to me than other makes. I did wonder if their nicotine makes a difference, because the bottle I bought from their site was VG base nicotine.

Ah, it used to be called key lime trish, i dont know if it was the pie though, still a very nice vape.

Thanks bob, it`s good to know that there are different options, like taking lung hits. I do that with the trident sometimes, on it`s biggest airflow setting.:D
