I saw them for $4.00 at Amazon as well, so I ordered them anyway... Any magnification is better than none at all. If I've wasted the $4 and they are crap, then I'm grabbing some reading glasses at the dollar store LOL
I have reading glasses, NOT GOOD ENOUGH for the really small stuff. Please let me know how they work when you get them.

Not got the Astro yet mate. It's been accepted by Sing Post, but no sign of it going onto the plane yet
I got my butane torch today from them, works great, can switch from torch to lighter. It's nice.
My bolt order was accepted as well, but my nemesis and vamo order is shipped and not accepted. My chimbus order will ship after their holiday. I don't expect much to happen til they get off holiday.

Hurray! Wire, wick and mesh arrived today
That 3mm ekowool does look really thick... I cant see that going on the aga very well looking at it. I reckon the starter pack would probably be better if it contained 1mm and 2mm ekowool and silica. They are really big sheets of ss mesh too... looking at the one that came with the aga there must be 60 or so wick's worth of ss mesh there... I'll have to give that a try as seems a shame to waste it although i have read that ss mesh dulls some of the sweeter flavours though... maybe good for menthols?

I got my package from the classies =] Good stuff, every bit of it! Anyway, I was cleaning out the tanks - A LOT OF TANKS And I took all of the mesh out :/ I may use it later, but not now... One thing I did find was this wicking material that looks suspiciously like YARN! Yarn, like to knit blankets

Thats true.... i hear a lot of people using cotton balls... but you are right, sets fire pretty easily. And what kind of noodlehead would try smoking a banana peel or a teabag?

You are correct about the 3 mm ekowool, i bet you could use that in mountain climbing Its that thick.
That sucks, I can't see close up and was thinking about getting them myself so I could SEE to build SMALL coils. Well I'll keep looking.

No, on to other news =] I watched Greenman of Greenman Juice and a UK gentleman called... Chunkmeister last Saturday. They make juice and then send out giveaways. Well, last weekend, the Greenman decided to 'snort' or inhale juice through his nose =] It was CRAZY! He made A LOT OF VAPOR CLOUDS =] But it burned like crazy LOL Anyway, I tried it and sneezed my sinuses clear
I bet it does burn a bit, plus you'd need a bigger drip tip to fit in a nostril

If it's yarn it could be cotton, bamboo or even hemp - all these can be used for wicks. But definitely not banana skins or tea bags

Cotton is one of the best wicking materials ever, just keep it wet and don't try a dry burn. It's amazing how good a cotton wick is
Well, that was an epic fail... lol
First i tried to put my aga together, and then i couldnt for the life of me suss out how to get the top bit off so that you can actually get to the part where you wrap your coil... took me 20mins of prizing, turning, pulling and anything else i could to seperate the bloody thing - it just looked like one solid piece of metal with the actual heart of it stuck uselessly inside! Then i watched a few vids as to how it should be put together correctly and had no problems, then onto the coil wrapping itself....
I just could not make out on ANY of the vids just how you wrap the coil, so..
a) do you wrap the coil around the wick first and then start wrapping it around the various posts on the aga?
or
b) start wrapping it around the posts first and then around the wick?
Some did it one way, some others, but i just couldnt see what you do next!! So, if i am sat with the wick nearest to me and i either have the coil pre-wrapped or not, do i go to the screw on my left or my right, and where from there, etc and where do i finish?!?! and for something between 1.8 to 2.5 ohms is a 4/5 wrap best?
Sorry for all the questions, it's taken me 2 hours to get nowhere, although i really shouldnt have done it when i havent had my painkillers yet today (i get not only terrible back ache, but irritated really easily and have no patience whatsoever which doesnt help with a job like this!)

And then to top things off i got a new carto, stuck a dozen or so drops of liquid in it then into my carto tank it went and i filled it up. On my evic it was saying 2.1ohms but it must be way under that... really really strong hits of it (not sure if they would be dry hits?) but nasty nasty burnt flavour and had to knock it down to 3v to even be able to vape it and even at that it's nothing like the flavour should be... hopefully it will settle, but the last carto i had in it wasnt like that... if anything a little weak on flavour was all.
