And so they should ian,

For a government run business it is an atrocious state of affairs. Anyway i am just happy that things are moving now, and f/t have had the sense to move there business away from these cowboys.

I agree mate. I've only ever had 2 orders where they used HK Post, both times were painfully slow. In fact my last small juice order came by HKP, it took 2 weeks longer than my order for the Astro (which was posted after the juice and still arrived before it).

Today's update.

Re-wicked the RSST, ithaka and the Rocket. Good and bad news.

Good - the RSST is working great with ekowool and ribbon. I've cured the leak on the Rocket airhole by totally stripping down the 510 connector and cleaning it all up, then re-aligning the connector and airhole screw.

Bad - the Rocket is still leaking from the fill screw and the tank joints (not as bad as before), but I still can't use it yet. Plus the ithaka has now developed a leak in sympathy for the Rocket :(

So not a very good day for me, did manage to squeeze 2mm ekowool through a 2mm coil though :)

There's talk that the status of Accepted at HKP is not necessarily accepted by them, but merely a shipping label sitting in the FastTech warehouse.

I've heard something similar Lisa. When it shows on the tracking it says something along the lines of "this is not a physical acceptance of the order". I'm pretty certain that most of the problems have been down to the postal system though, rather than FT. Well at least, I'd hope that's the case.

When are you expecting the replacement seal`s Ian ? Hopefully that will solve some of the problems at least. Could you not try putting a bit of plumbers tape around the fill screw, to stop the leak from there.

Well the seals have been posted off, but their coming by snail mail from the USA, so might be a couple of weeks yet. I will probably wait until the seals arrive before I try it again with sealing up the fill screw. When it was working on a couple of draws, I'd say it was almost on a par with my aga. The flavour was as good, but not quite as much vapour. Once it's working right, I'd probably give it an 8 out of 10 (with the KFL getting a 9.5 out of 10 and the aga an 8.5 out of 10).

I left it overnight in the sink and it had completely emptied this morning - that's how bad it was leaking :(

Confession time again :nun:

I've been spending

Been doing some research on attys that are as good as, or better than the KFL. The reviews all say the Taifun GT is as good, some say it's better. Checked a few UK sites - all out of stock. I could only find one place in Poland that has them in stock, so I've bought one :

Taifun® GT ECIS-SHOP

I've gone crazy and bought an extra airtube, stainless steel tank, o-ring set, maintenance kit and the "long rip" drip tip for it.

I feel naughty now

She's moaning at the moment, cos her laptop is playing up. I'm the one that deserves the bath, wine and foot massage (as well as the new toys)
In fact that's a good idea, might go for a soak for some peace and quiet

Tell me about it mate. To be honest, I can definitely tell the difference - vape wise - between a high end topper and cheaper clone. I still have the cheaper options for out and about (it doesn't matter if I break or lose them). But for home use, I want a superb vape :)

Wish I had mate. I think I'm having a mid-life crisis, instead of sports cars I'm buying fancy ecigs ;)

I just like a constant change of set-up pretty regularly. Each one is good in it's own way, but there's always something that I think could be better - I'm looking for my "holy grail" vape

It's just me Terry. I've always been a "grass is greener on the other side" type of bloke. To me, nothing is perfect, there's always some room for improvement ;)
