I did look at that. It could work just fine. Just remember if you are drilling stainless, you may need a better drill bit (those may be too soft). Also stainless is so hard that one will need to 'cool' the bit as you drill (oil, lubricant, etc), and run it slow. Any other metal should be ok :)

It's hard to say what one will get, but the drill itself would probably do well. In my experience with bundle packs like this, the drill bits aren't the best always (cheap)

Doesn't your Hubby have tools like this you could 'borrow'? He may not even notice it gone. lol

Just be careful when drilling anything. It's always best to wear safety glasses too

Yes, I've already told him that I needed to drill them out and he's pulled out a vice for me and said he had the special tips needed to drill through steel BUT he may not have the smaller ones that I need =] I am glad to see this drill though because it has the ability to buff the mods, maybe even engrave them :p

Yes, I think that kit would be perfect to buff them

E pipeman - you a Salford boy? That's me hometown!

Ian - Fizzy Trifle is by TripHammer and available direct from him or through Vape Escape, Codz raves on about for good reason! Best juice ever!

Terry - I'd be chuffed to bits if my other half bought me thermal under crackers now this weathers turned!

Lisa/Ian - I want a spare Pyrex tank and centre post, 10 stoppers, 2 big screws and if the bag of spares are o rings and that I'd like 2 bags. Can you let me know how much with or without shipping and who to PayPal? I figured be max £1.20 for posting when we split the goods Ian so if you want to take my monies with UK postage and forward onto Lisa with yours, she can ship to you then you to me (hate that, reminds me of chuckle brothers!) or the other way round :)

I've decided to go for 4 Panasonic from FT and grab 2 efest 18650's in case batteries of got go before they arrive.
I never found UltraFire or Trustfire batts to live long, but I've only had 18650's not the 350's.
I'm gonna grab a couple egos and stock up on cartos too - proper took a liking to them Terry :) - intending for stealth vape but I got a feel I'll bling them out if vamo turns out well!

Catch you's tomorrow I'm on night duty escorting my poorly 3 year old back to bed every 10 mins! :(

Glad you are enjoying them claire, Just make sure you have enough juice for when you get your rocket...They are a very thirsty tank these are.

You're like lightning Lisa ;)

To be honest the only juice reviews I really listen to now are from Todd and the good people on this forum. I know taste is subjective, but a lot of the time I think some of the reviews can be a bit biased - after all their getting the stuff for free and they don't want to upset the supplier. Or is that just me being cynical :p

You can customize your mods with that drill too Lisa, couple of Chinese dragons and the star spangled banner would look great

Well as soon as prices closer to home start rising, you know it's time to stock up. Or maybe we could all get together and send Terry over to China on a slow boat to pick us some up

Oh yes please, will it be all expenses paid as well ??

I've just had another look at that FT item Lisa, to be honest, it wouldn't be suitable for stainless. It only has a single speed motor, you really need a drill with variable speed, so you start off slowly and speed up as you start to go through the metal. That's why I use a normal household drill for airholes. The FT one will be fine for buffing/polishing and light engraving though. Plus a normal drill has more weight to it, which helps.

Definitely mate. We'll supply you with an inflatable dinghy, 2 oars and plenty of bread and water for the trip. We could even throw in a cheap life-jacket (if I can pinch one on the next flight I take):laugh:

Well they have gone and done it again :-x

My taifun, which was supposed to be shipped on the 22nd is now showing as re-stocking. What the f*c* is going on with this place??
I placed the order on the 14th, when it said ships in 5 days and now this. very frustrating to say the least.

I feel your pain mate. I ordered the kayfun on the 3rd, was due to ship on the 20th. Now it's saying re-stocking for the last 2 days. I'm still gonna wait a few days and see what happens though.

I see they have got the taifun @ vaporbreak for a few dollars more, If all this crap carries on I will seriously think of going back to them.
At least the owner is a nice genuine guy, and if you have any probs he gets involved personally.

It is just the service which seems to be letting FT down now, and i can`t see it getting any better with xmas coming up. But i will eat my own words, and try to be a bit more patient; although my patience is wearing a bit thin now.

I think it wouldn't be so bad if it was just down to the postal system, which is out of FT's hands. But when they change the shipping date to re-stocking, that's a bit naughty. FT used to have great customer service, but like you say, it's gone down-hill recently. I wonder if the CS staff are all on holiday

Shame really cos i have fell in love with this rocket LOL,

I dunno whats going on Ian, I really don`t But like i said if it carries on like this that will be me done with them; I will just get a refund and shop elsewhere.

Surely a big company like this wouldn`t allow all the staff to have holidays at the same time !

I've still not had a play with my Rocket yet, been busy with the Reo, evods and novas today. Did a superb 1.0 ohm coil on one of my novas (micro-coil with cotton), filled it up with the last bit of pear/blackberry/honey drizzle, took a few vapes superb. Then I knocked it over, tried to vape it again and the coil had broken, gutted :(

Anyway, no more ordering from FT for me until after Xmas. I reckon all the CS staff have left, cos their tired of people asking where their orders are

My next order will be some juices from JJ, triphammer and vapology. After that, I've got some O-rings, a LED magnifier stand and a decent mini blow torch from Amazon to order. That's it for me for quite a while then.

Lisa, that Fasttech drill is rubbish - my acrylic nail drill is more powerful than that by almost 2/3!
Couldn't see the exact spec on the second drill, but seems a lot better than the FT one.
Other half recommends getting some small drill bits of decent quality for your hubby's drill.

Ian, the other half has promised me a bespoke tank and over Christmas when his workshop packs up for Christmas :D He has offered to make me a mod, it's easier for him to make than the 'perfect' RBA I've detailed him, but I want to diamanté this Vamo up and if it looks fit I'll be doing it to Ego's and Vamo S - when I grab a second Vamo.
I'm the same with juice, I'll take heed from people here, but I don't trust the ones given free samples or reviews that don't give specifics as to why they like or dislike as what doesn't work for them, could easy be what someone else is after.

Terry, that's exactly why I won't chance anything with a delay from FT - I won't be ordering anything off them until after Christmas at least now. I'm impatiently still waiting for my Rocket, but I'm armed with knowledge of your fix for it and I've got about 20 bottles steeping in the cupboard thanks to my quest to finding quality UK made liquids, so hopefully I'll be fine with it guzzling.

The Aga T2 barely uses juice, opened 10ml bottle last Sunday and I've not used half yet! Been vaping as per usual too, weird!
I did a rushed 2mm coil with 7 wraps and space between, thought I'd be lucky to vape through til morning with it, but it turned out perfectly even, glowing from middle out, totally stable at 1.5 ohms and vapes like a champ?! I should rush coil making more often!

Well, my rushed coil and wick made it through the night, considering I have insomnia and hear every tiny noise the kids make, so chain vape a fair portion of the night - my coil is still in perfect condition upon inspection while refilling, even the wick looks unused!
It's not strictly 2mm in diameter, I used a cotton bud to wind the coil cos I was feeling too lazy to open the box of drill blanks I nicked off the other half for winding them, but it is a proper champ vaper - think I'll try this size again when it goes - it'll probably come out awful cos I'll be concentrating and trying lol.

Thanks Ian, i may invest in one of them. Quiet tonight aint it ?

I think it will be a good buy mate, was quiet last night too.

THAT must be one big bathroom you got there mate. :)

It's the size of a football pitch mate  Just kidding, about 10 foot by 10 foot. Plus it's half tiled all the way round too. Painted it earlier on today, took me about 90 minutes. Got the new shower pole to put up tomorrow and that's me done :)

Any idea what he's gonna make it out of Claire, there's that many different options - stainless, aluminium, brass, copper. I'd love to see the pictures once it's done. Sometimes, you can over think coiling. I've had excellent results with a 2 minute coil myself sometimes :D

2mm is my favourite size too. Easy to work with and check the spacing. I'm gonna get a magnifier though for my micro (less than 1.7mm) coils, their a bit difficult to see the spacing when their on the drill bit. I may redo my Reo tomorrow with cotton instead of ekowool. I've been using eko from the start, but I fancy a change. The only problem is, I mainly use cappuccino juice in the Reo/RM2. It's a real thick dark juice, so I'll probably have to change the cotton a bit more often.

Ian & Claire - I received a $9.00 refund from the shop for the bits and pieces, but have no idea what was not in stock - I have to wait for the package. The RSST post and nuts have come in, so I got those this AM =]

YEAH!!!! More nuts for me to lose in the carpet!!!

I've been receiving packages from FastTech regularly, BUT not the packages that I REALLY WANT with the toppers in them :/ Am I evil for being irritated? I almost put in a ticket for the package ordered 10/27 that has a shipping status of NOT FOUND :/ When I pull it up it says SHIPPED 11/14!!!! Argh!!

So it's good news and bad news then

It might be the aga t2 spare parts bag Lisa that's out of stock (1 for me and 2 for Claire), that's almost $9.00. That's all I can see that really comes close. Good news about the RSST posts though.

FT is all over the place at the moment with updates. I'm hoping one of my orders might arrive tomorrow - the one with the display stand, then I can get my gear organised before I go back to work on Tuesday.

Anyway, I'm off for a few hours now. Family meal later today, so need to put my make-up on

Thanks for the update Lisa.
