I have a tank ordered from fasttech that will use the Protank atomizers https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006479/1536500-rg400-bottom-coil-glass-clearomizer-4-0ml =] I can rebuild those, although my first rebuilt one was sub-oHm LOLOLOLOL

Regardless, I wish someone would come up with a rebuildable carto! I would be sooooooooooooooo interested in that and have been saving mine for that day :p

Hmmm... I'm not sure where the coil is in a carto, but people did used to take out the filling so they could use them as a dripper so technically it should be possible, although i'll leave it to someone else to try!

My coils seem to end up either sub-ohm or about 4ohms! To be honest, i am getting better though... i like them between 1.5 - 2.2. I dont think i am cut out for sub-ohm vaping, i tried it on my mech with a 0.8 coil and it was too harsh for my liking, too much TH and i didnt think it increased the flavour at all.

I am not comfortable with sub-oHming personally. I'm never interested in the vapor clouds, I just want to see enough vapor to KNOW that the mod is working. My preference is 1.6 - 2.4 oHms, but I have been working with my AGA T2 primarily since I don't have any other toppers I'm interested in using. Ohhh, I must mention... I bought some small metal springs and I checked their oHms, they are all 0.5 - 0.1 oHms. I've stretched them out, recoiled them, tried different orientations, and gotten them as high as 0.9 oHm, so I've set them aside.

My Eternity has been going strong on the pre-installed coil/wick since October 11th LOLOLOLOLOL

I am a bit pissy now... I checked my records and I bought another Eternity on March 28th! o_O What have I done with it? Is it socked away in it's metal case or have I PIFed it like a damned fool? The Vision Eternity, although needing constant liquid, as it is a dripper, is one of the most beautiful toppers I have used on my silver eGo :/ I have been thinking of getting another and now I know I should have one somewhere or it's been PIFed away :'(

I was wondering what those vision eternitys were like. I remember ages back looking at them on vape escape... they look nice!

Sorry, i know this is a fasttech thread, but i did say a while ago that i would put a quick review of the AC flavours i bought in this thread...

Egg Custard Tart -
I thought this was going to be the one i liked the best, but it doesnt really do it for me. I have a couple of other custard-y liquids that i prefer to this one. It is eggy and tarty, but not really custardy if that make sense! Totally wicked do an egg nog flavour that i really dont like and this has hints of that flavour to it. It's a lot nicer than the egg nog, but i wont be buying it again.

Sherbert Lemon - Absolutely lovely! Strong, refreshing flavour and definitely more than just lemon, the name describes it perfectly. There arent many liquids that i can taste properly on the inhale (i usually get the better flavour on the exhale), but i can taste this the second the vapour enters my mouth. A really nice change for me as its usually menthols or dark dessert type flavours and this is a nice clean fresh tasting lemon - it's not bitter at all, but very sweet. I'll definitely buy it again.

Treacle Tart - This is like a much better version of the egg custard tart. Drop the eggy flavour and add a bit of butterscotch / treacle type flavour instead and thats what this is. It's not the dark treacle type flavour - a much milder tasting treacle this one and whilst i do like it i think it would be too sickly to make an ADV. I'll buy again, but prob just 10ml bottles as 30ml would be sat on my shelf for a long long time.

Santas Xmas Cake - Ian asked me to let him know what i thought of it as he had something similar, but said it tasted too much of cherry brandy, etc. Well, the same applies to this. If you have tried dark cherry from JJ then think of that with more of a liqeur twist to it and you will have the flavour of this. Not really sure where the cake comes into the equation with this. It's not bad, but i wont be buying any more.

Chocolate Limes
- Again, this one is lovely and has reignited my interest in chocolate flavours after a couple of bad experiences. If you have had and liked the choc lime boiled sweets then you will like this juice because it tastes just like them. It's a spot on balance between chocolate and lime, neither overpowering the other. You get a nice zesty lime burst that seems to accompany the TH and then a lovely smooth chocolate taste on the exhale making it taste like a nice creamy dairy milk style chocolate. Along with Sherbert Lemon i will be buying it again.

Bloody internet, I hate you sometimes.

Don't worry folks, I wasn't ignoring you all. I've not had any internet access for nearly 24 hours, I've been chewing the doors in frustration

So what did I miss ??

Just had a quick scan through the posts.

Terry, stop picking on me :p

Cody, cappuccino to me tastes just like a top-notch cappuccino - strong sweet milky and frothy with a hint of chocolate. Leaves a long aftertaste too. That's the only way I can describe it.

Lisa, I love your pics, all those shiny mods

Claire, my aga decided to drop the wick yesterday. Started to get dry hits, thought that's unusual. Pulled off the top cap, I'd forgotten to fluff up the top of the cotton and it had slipped down inside the wick :(

To anyone else I've missed "hi" :)

So in another news (before my connection goes again) - no FT gear today

Hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed.

One order has been on the plane for 10 days, next order has been on the plane for 5 days, Sing Post is playing football with my third order and the Kayfun clone is still "restocking" - I've opened a ticket for this one, see if it speeds things up a bit.

Sky's tech team are supposed to be calling me back tomorrow with a solution to my broadband woes.

I've got the caramel, vanilla & some blackcurrant awaiting my attention soon too :)

You know how i said a couple of hours ago that i wasnt gonna spend any more until after new year.... weeeeeell i just have :p It's only on liquids though... just ordered 5X10ml from trip hammer. At £33 including the post though its not cheap, but if they are anything like as nice as the fizzy trifle then i dont mind :)

Ian, you have my sympathy on the lack of internet connection... i work from home mainly and if mine went down then i would have to drive to the nearest office in Preston every day, not only a couple of hours drive and about a tenners worth of diesel, but having to get up early aswell, just wrong :(

Oh forgot to mention Terry, I've got a fix for my chi-you.

Found some thick black washers in my toolbox yesterday, I know their a 3/32" thickness but I haven't got a clue what diameter. Popped one in the switch section of the chi. The washer is thick enough to hold the battery away from the switch, but the switch still makes contact when I push it.

I got the washers from B&Q, in an assorted pack size, their by Plumbsure. I just used the one that was a bit bigger than the inside of the switch housing and persuaded it in.

I'll look forward to the reviews mate. I've got triphammer in my faves now for future use, my juices are going down a bit now, but not enough yet where I'm ready to order again.

To be honest, the internet here has always been a bit hit and miss - don't know why. When I used to sell on ebay and my website (as well as running the shop), I used to have 2 separate accounts. One broadband and a separate slow, dial up account for when the broadband died. I think the issue I have is the cable section where it comes into the house, tried changing filters, modems, leads, routers - everything. Sometimes we get a lot of static on the phone line to, so I've got a horrible feeling that my driveway may need digging up to replace the underground phone cable :(

Ahh crap, that doesnt sound too good :(

I used to get really bad service from my internet, always dropping off - wouldnt stay on for more than an hour, but since i got one of them BT homehubs it never drops out. I've never had problems where it stays off for any longer than a few mins though.

Extreme empathy for the internet issues, Ian! I HATE THEM, also! Always think to change internet providers when mine goes down. Apologies for my picture XD I've no room on my desk now that my mods are all in the display :/ Also, even though there are a lot of mods, you know they are all the cheaper versions, so not that extreme :p

Thank you Cody, for the review! I've often wondered about those juices you've all been mentioning.

I've tried them all mate.

Started off with BT, then orange, then Tiscali, then onto the BT homehub, then finally onto Sky (cos we've got the TV, broadband and phone package with them). Every single one had problems. I've tried wireless and direct wired into the router - still loses connection when it feels like it. The only one that never dropped was the slow dial up connection from BT or Virgin, but 5 minutes to load a large page is a bit much.

Hopefully, the tech team might have a fix for me tomorrow - just hope it aint expensive ;)

Thanks Lisa. I just want something that works when I want it to work, not when it feels like working

I was thinking yesterday about the FT mod stand. I'm wondering if I can swap out the plastic supports for some longer wooden rods, like dowling. Might make it sturdier, plus it will give a bigger gap between the holes and the base, so the mods will be held in place better. I'll wait and see, when mine arrives

I hated dial-up, it frustrated me sooo much i was better off just not using it at all!

Magnificent idea! I'd bought the double tiered stand as well as the single row :/ The single is not being used because I've tried to cut the section between 2 of the circles to make a holder for my rectangular mods like the MVPs and Gripper =] Of course I haven't the strength to cut through the plastic, so this short Thanksgiving break I'be be asking Tommy to deal with it for me =]

Now that you've mentioned the dowels, I've gotten the idea NOT to replace the current legs, but to add an additional leg at the center of the display 'shelf' where it sags AND to add some 'no slip' cabinet/shower stickers under each mod =] One of my issues is that my eGos slip and the suction cup eGo stands that I am using take up a bit more space than I like.
