Will do, although I have everything set out on my FastTech display stands and my hubby altered one to hold 3 MVPs :/ I may have to keep that one, but I'd been wanting one of those stands, just hadn't gotten one - have been buying toppers LOL

yep me too....I have enough equipment now for awhile....need to quit shopping till about March

Well I'm not sure wether to stay up for the FT sale or not - starts at 2am UK time, so as long as I don't fall asleep.
Ray, you should have got an e-mail from FT about the sale.

==========================

Hope everyone has had a great day so far. I've been at my Niece's house today with my Mum. My Sister and her Fella were both working today, as well as my Wife and Step-son. So it's just been the 3 of us for xmas dinner - I feel stuffed now. I'm that full the mince pies are almost touching my eye-balls :laugh:
My Step-daughter came round with the baby this morning and we all went out with the in-laws yesterday for a meal.

So far I've had 3 full chrimbo dinners. One at work, one yesterday with the in-laws and one today. I need some bigger pants ;)

I never got an email, Ian... I just saw it at the site

The hubby and I were turkeyed out, so I made a brisket and we've been making cubano sandwiches =] Grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, girlled veggies, all squashed on a brisket sandwich... I have turkey made, but we ate the brisket instead, go figure LOL

I'm subscribed for the FT new release updates, maybe that's why I got the sale e-mail. In fact, I got it twice, they must like me :laugh:

I like the cubano recipe, sounds delicious. I've not had brisket for years, I'm very fussy when it comes to meat, so I've sort of progressed more to fish and poultry. But it does sound like a delicious sarnie :)

One year, when I was a kid, my Mum forgot to take the Turkey out of the freezer, so it wasn't defrosted properly - no other meat in the house, so we ended up having a full chrimbo dinner with no turkey. I think that's the only time I've not had it on Christmas day. My Niece made a lovely stuffing - the usual sage and onion, but she added some chestnuts, onions, raisins and extra spices. It was yummy, I could have eaten a full bowl of it :)

Yep mate it was pretty quiet this year. we usually all have a get together in the local, but cos my dad has been very ill recently he didn`t decide he wanted to go for a pint till the last minute LOL, so i gave it a miss this year. But we all had a good time in our own ways.

I cooked the meal this year, so the wife was happy to have a break after doing it for the last 25 years.:lol:

Same problem for us too mate. Everyone was either working or had made other plans. We were going to have everyone round at ours this year, but it all fell through. It would have been better for me to be the host, I could have had a drink then, instead of doing loads of driving.
We did have a small glass of wine though and raised it to my Dad. I used to go for a pint or two with my Dad when he was still alive - he used to get 5 free pints on Christmas day at his Social Club, so we'd share them between us while Mum did the cooking ;)

:laugh: I'll be fine mate, a bus drivers' seat can handle up to 20 stone (I'm only half way there, or I was 20 years ago ;))

I really need to get a decent DVD player next, mine is cr*p, I've not watched LOTR for months now cos of the bad quality picture from the player. I will be watching the Hobbit part one tomorrow again though. My Step-son has an account with Netflix and a special wifi box that links into the TV. So we've set it up to our TV so we can watch Netflix films when he's working. So tomorrow, while the Wife's at work that's what I'll be doing - she's just started doing days today (instead of nights), so I've got the house to myself all day tomorrow.
