I guess I really love the smaller mods, but I hate the short battery life :/ I've got these coming in, so I expect to be pleased with them in the long run =]

eGo 550mAh w/ H5 Clearomizer - 2.5ohm / 2.0mL
Kamry eCab V2 Mod
Authentic Innokin iTaste EP 700mAh w/ iClear 10 - 1.5ohm / 1.0mL

Have any of you seen anything new and interesting?

Not sure you will like the "Innokin iTaste EP", I got one but the vape is really hot. The coil is so high and close to the mouth it is very hot to the lips, good vapor, but hot. Also good luck finding replacement iClear 10's, and they are not rebuild-able, I couldn't find them anywhere. I looked at the size, and these were the only ones I found that fit under the pin cap, but they are also hot vapes.

newsflash for cody

I was reading some reviews last night regarding the sandblasted kayfuns 3.1 of which i have got two coming to me. Cody some of the reviews were saying that it can be difficult to trap the wire under the coil screws. so they used the holes instead. yes holes cody, where you can thread the legs of the coil through.https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...un-v3-1-es-styled-rebuildable-atomizer-4-5ml# If you look at the picture you can see the holes in the positive and negative blocks. Its the second pic mate.

So, I've been creeping around for something of interest... but nothing much is throwing a spark :/

I've been taking my KSD Novice to work with me with a little clearo and been very pleased with it [now that I have the flattop batteries and can screw it together properly]. I've been very pleased with it.

I've not added much to my wishlist recently Lisa apart from these :

Have decided to have another whirl at RBA's, see how I do. I have some Kanthal and ekowool arriving tomorrow (hopefully), so should be all set. I have my Igo-L still, so will have a few tries on that and see what happens!

Any recommendations for some RBA's on FT? Preferably easy to build with... :D

Hope the building goes well for you Mike. Once you've mastered the Igo-L, any of the Kayfun types would be great RBA's to go with.

Well done Terry. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself. The only slight issue would be the coil height if you use the holes instead of the screws, but it should still work well enough.

Im in all mine have now shipped :)

Think I might still be in the lead. My order has boarded the plane to the UK now :D

Built a coil earlier with .25 Kanthal, had no idea how many wraps to do so just went with my gut and did 8... Probably completely wrong :D

Anyhow, it actually looked alright. Threaded some cotton through and gave it a go.

It was alright, not great, but not bad either. My MVP didn't arrive today:( So I didn't even have a device to check the ohms, otherwise I would have done some more research into how many wraps I needed. But as my first attempt with rebuilding with cotton, I'm pretty pleased.

Should have ordered some .28/.30 kanthal rather than getting the sample pack from Stealthvape. Bring on Monday I suppose!

I was thinking that myself Ian about the coil height. Personally i will use the screws, but the holes would be good for cody. And like you say it shoudn`t make any difference really.

I've tried a few different wire gauges and I find the 30g kanthal the easiest to work with. It's not too fine that it's awkward to work with and not too thick that it makes a huge coil. I'd say you really need something to measure your ohms with though mate. If you go too low on the resistance you can overload a battery or at the very least get a very harsh vape. Coil building is all about practice, the more you do the better they get :D

Yeah mate it's definitely worth trying. I might try it out myself next time I do a build see if it makes any difference.

I would think that 30 gauge is probably one of the most common gauges regarding wire. many moons ago i used 32 and like you say it is too thin, i am guessing that .25 will be a bit to thick for my liking, so i work with the 30g myself now no probs.

I like the sound of the apple and pear torte. I've had a banoffee from Vapology, it was a pretty good juice. You'll have to let us know what you think once it's steeped a bit.

Although FT is pimping this as a 'holder', many are saying this is the SvoeMesto Kayfun Mini 'Sticker'. I grabbed 2 just in case this is true :p

Will do bud.

Really really looking forward to trying the Vapology juices more than anything, especially when I eventually order a custom mix.

If you like cappuccino, Vapology do a cracker, it's a bit of a coil gunker though. I've had a few different custom mixes from them, they were all really nice juices. The only one I didn't like was the black forest gateaux, but out of about 10 different juices that's pretty good going. The pear/blackberry/honey drizzle is really nice too. With the custom section, you can get a really highly flavoured juice. That's what I like about them, can't be doing with subtle flavours :D

That will be great for stealth vaping Lisa. You'll be able to use that at work. I wonder if FT will get a bigger size one in to hold the Vamo or a bigger mod.

It's a good find though, I don't remember seeing that on my daily trawl through FT

I know! I missed it as well! I saw a post about it in the other FT thread :p I've been hunting the info down and they are out in the UK and many people are using them with the 14500 mods :/ I started my 14500 hunt and have unfortunately missed many good deals in the classies :'( I've got a couple of mods that I am sure will work with this 'Stand' or 'Sticker', but I'd like something a bit nicer than an eGo or Evod for this... Still hunting =]

Weather dropped 30 degrees this AM :/ I'm glad I get off at 4:30PM today even though I hate being up at 6:30AM :p

The larger one that I have is the Vamo S... I like it, A LOT, but it had to be altered by a friend and the Vamo cut/soldered. I would be much more interested in a basic set that you merely just 'screw' a mod onto!

Had a trip to my local b&m and they have started to stock alchemist so just had to try one.
Egg custard tart very nice in the trident reminds me of vanilla custard from mega vape but smoother although i only tried that in the protank.
Also picked up the soft efest battery case for a couple of quid holds 3 18650's.
Then today i finally got around to making a simple stand to tidy things up and stop em falling over.

uploadfromtaptalk1393789556394.jpg

On the ft front i got fedup waiting for the nemesis to ship counted down to one day then back to seven.
Cancelled that and ordered the brass chi to go with the brass kraken top cap that i have coming.

Update on the dual coil and ecowool in the kraken i have now pulled them out and gone back to single micro at 1.3 ohm with cotton as this works best for me.
Had some dry hits from the ecowool it just couldn't keep up.
