If I get chance, I'll tear apart one of my Russians this weekend and see if I can come up with anything. I need to redo the Aios and a couple of Kayfuns, plus see about modding the Poldiac while I'm at it - the switch just isn't quite right yet.

With a bit of luck the juices might arrive tomorrow Terry, so I'll let you know then mate - thanks again for sending them out

you are most welcome Ian, is the draw on your russians tight too ?

I'm not sure what the capacity of the KFL is, but i reckon i have vaped about 10 - 15ml of the B&L in the last few days so perhaps i should get the wick changed. Still tastes great to me though, not had any problems at all with it, no dry hits and no leaks since the 1st couple of puffs. It's going so well i dont want to mess with it just yet ;)

They are advertised as being 4.5 ml cody.

I get the same thing with my job too. Nobody seems to care that I've been up since 4 am when I'm on an early shift. People just want things straight away, nobody seems to have any patience anymore :(
I'm sure the postman finds that a lot too, but he seemed to be referring to the management at work today.
He was icy cold and wet one bad day a couple of months ago, and only half way through the day, but he wouldn't come in for a coffee to get warm! Said he'd never get everything delivered because he had more than he could cope with ...and this chap isn't afraid of hard work either!

As for people in general, just from the supermarket, I see some really rude people who don't care who they barge into or push out of the way ...don't know what happened to people, but they don't make em like they used to! ;)

When you get to the 1 year mark, you get a personalised cake from Terry, that is something to look forward to
Well isn't that sweet! Does he bake them himself? :D

Throw the cigs away Trisha, take them outside and stomp on them, you'll feel a lot better after doing that :D
It may seem like a somewhat perverse pleasure, but it reassures me to see them there and know I can see them but not want one! In a way, it reinforces how important a thing it's been for me to stop smoking.
At this stage, they've become just part of the general clutter of things under that shelf along with post-it notes, stapler etc., and it hardly even registers now that they're packs of cigarettes!

Yep It will be one of them spottedick& custard what you get in a tin.
You mean a Heinz tinned pud? :D :D Priceless!

The LMP is lovely mate, hope you like it. I'm not really a fan of food with lemons in, but now cake is a different story

I've been using Vapable's LMP, which is not too bad, best foods for squeezing lemon on is fish, especially smoked salmon w/red pepper and lemon juice - luvverly, I sometimes put it on chicken breasts as well, then of course there is CAKE, lemon drizzle, YUM

They have been altering all the routes, supposedly to make things better, I usually have a chat with mine when he brings me presents from FT etc, and I know he is really p***ed off, he's actually replaced my previous regular postie who now has a different route, used to get mine at about 11am now it can be anything from 12 to 3pm before it arrives, and I think he now has to have certain days off as I sometime get another different postie. As for the idiots in the shops, a lot of people these days seem to have anger management problems and no self control, me, I just let everything fly over the top of my head, and am quite laid back, I do curse and swear a lot in the home though when something I'm doing just won't work, like trying to get coils and wicks to work properly, my close-up eyesight is not very good.

It may seem like a somewhat perverse pleasure, but it reassures me to see them there and know I can see them but not want one! In a way, it reinforces how important a thing it's been for me to stop smoking.

I still have an unopened packet in the letter rack thingy next to me, doesn't woory me at all seeing them there, will probably end up giving them to the missus, she doesn't like the ecigs, and won't give up.

Their treacle sponge was my favourite, and the hiss of the tin when you stuck the can opener in......:)

I think people these days just have a lack of respect for anyone else. Everyone seems to be dashing around trying to get things done without a thought for anyone else. You can see it everywhere from town centres to out on the road. If you're out walking, people will cut across in front of you, chatting away on their mobiles. On the road, other drivers won't let you pull out at junctions and don't get me started on the pedestrians in Manchester city centre

Anyway, rant over  At least this place is full of people that are helpful and considerate :D

Terry's a great cook - I'm just waiting for an invite over for dinner :p

When I gave up smoking, I had my last cig before work at 5am, thought I'll see how long I can go just vaping and the rest is history. Threw out my lighters, a couple of weeks later.

I've not tried vapable juices before Bob, are they UK based mate ??

We've got a bottle of the lemon juice sat in the cupboard collecting dust - the one shaped like a lemon. It does get used sometimes for fish, but to be honest I prefer tartare sauce or mayo. Now lemon drizzle cake, is a totally different story

470 watts  you'll probably use 10ml of juice per draw with that one

We can all get annoyed and curse in private, but people just don't care anymore - worries me about the fact there's likely 3 generations of them now, and 'manufacturing' more! :(

As for the Treacle Sponge: Ooh yes! :) Tesco do some little individual low fat ones with a hint of ginger in microwavable pots - quite nice!

Who fancies one of these,
Looks like it's made up of bits from an engineers parts box!

That's exactly right: respect & values seem totally lost qualities to teach youngsters ..do that right and they grow up to be generally nice people.

Certainly are! :)

When I gave up smoking, I had my last cig before work at 5am, thought I'll see how long I can go just vaping and the rest is history. Threw out my lighters, a couple of weeks later.
I did that on 27th Jan - had half a cig with my first cup of tea and the other half around 7pm and thought I'd see if I could just use my e-cig when I got up next morning ...I did and was fine! ...and very surprised too!

Thems the ones trish, I used to love them and still do, but not had one of them for years.
Can't say I've seen any in recent times ...do they still make them? So many things seem to have disappeared.
My Mum used to make them ...steamed the house up for hours!

Get to the chippy.

Not too sure trish, as i haven`t looked for them really. But next time we are shopping i will have a look for them. I used to love my mam`s cooking, and my grandma always used to make us rabbit stew when we were kids, imagine trying to get the young ones of today eating that.8-o :D

...try getting me to eat rabbit! Aaagghh! hoppy little things with fluffy tails ...bit like Duck: I love it but to me they're cute, go quack, and you can feed em bits of bread ;)

I suppose it's all what we're used to - we never had rabbit (They were all scared after some Myxomatosis virus thing that had been around back then, so we never had it).

I like meats that are fairly 'inanimate' looking and ready to cook. Suppose I'm a bit soft! :D

See that cow standing peacefully in the field? Now think of a steak. Mmmm! Similar tricks can be played with sheep and chops, pigs and chops, chickens and KFC and turkeys and Christmas.

There are some daft sods out there that will no doubt think that is the bees knees.

And also.....

You lot quit bemoaning the youngsters... your mums and dads, grannys and grandads would have said just the same about you (although i agree with a lot of what you say). I was at kings cross station earlier this week waiting for the train to cambridge and there was a group of 3 or 4 lads maybe late teens / early 20s just messing about, being a bit loud and you immediately form an opinion of them. Anyway, a cleaner came over near where they were and found a wallet, and asked if one of the lads had dropped it... they all said no and described a guy that had sat near them earlier thinking he had dropped it and a couple of them quickly did a scout around the station for the guy. I thought it was nice of them to do that as i might have expected them to claim it was theirs. I think half the problem with a lot of youth today not showing much respect is because they have never been given much themseleves.

Anyway, thats my tuppence worth :p

Currently in the post and waiting for these juices:

Grants Vanilla Custard 100ml
Zamplebox 60ml+
Suicide Bunny O.B. 30ml
Suicide Bunny Mothers Milk 30ml
Nickoticket Grandma's cinnamon danish 15ml

I've also got 60ml of chefs vapour flavours that will be ready to vape by weekend so hopefully that should keep my juice buying antics quiet for a while :)

Well my coiling session is over.

Recoiled the Reo, the 2 Russians, 3 Kayfuns and had another go at the Aios. Success rate 50/50 :(

Reo is working great, but one of the Russians I think I put too much cotton in it, same with one of the Kayfuns. Plus the bloody Aios is now in the vape back up box. Vaped great for the first 5 minutes, then started leaking again, I will get it working right eventually but it can wait a while.

Terry, I opened up the base on both Russians. I found there was a bit of crud on both the 510 centre pins, cleaning that out does improve the airflow mate. The 510 pins are drilled, so any muck in them will give a tighter draw. All you need is a flat head screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the positive post straight when you screw it back together.

------------------------

The parcel arrived today Terry too

:rickroll::rickroll:

Thanks very much mate, I really appreciate it. I've got a lifetime supply of SS rope now  I'll be dripping the juices later tonight, so I'll let you know what I think  Thanks also for the tank mate, looks easy enough to build on :D

---------------------------

:offtopic: Think I know why my coil building wasn't as good as it should have been. Went to the Doctors this morning, cos I sometimes suffer from a trapped femoral nerve in my leg. It flares up occasionally, generally at night and can wake me up sometimes. Feels like my thigh is on fire, but then eases pretty quickly when I stretch my leg out. It can be annoying, it's like being a new Dad and being woken up every 2 hours during the night :( Anyway the last couple of months, it's been flaring up at least 3 or 4 times a week - no wonder I've been knackered recently. I normally just took Ibuprofen to ease it. But the Doctor has given me some tablets that are generally used for Epilepsy, as they can help with nerve pain. The only problem is the massive list of side effects, I think I've got one of them. At first you can feel a bit light headed when you first start taking them - so that's the reason why my coils are crap today  So blood tests on Monday, plus I'm being referred to a specialist for an MRI, plus physio. I just want a full 8 hours sleep

It's a good job I did your Kayfun last week Cody

Are your tablets called gabapentin or pregablin Ian?

If so, then i wouldnt worry about the side effects if you arent on a high dosage (when i say high i mean under 1200mg a day) ~Stick to something around that level or more than likely less, then you should be ok unless you are unlucky. I take them too and never had any problems with them, except one time when i took too many and felt pretty crappy for a few days after although at the time they gave me something like a drunk feeling. If your doc prescribes you tramadol say no! They will help with the pain and make you feel good too, but they are very addictive and hard to get off if you have them for long. Unfortunately, they are the only thing that works for my back pain so i need them.

Anyway, the main thing is you sorted my KFL out :p

I agree completely, my grandparents and parents did indeed bemoan the falling standards of younger people ...but the things they were complaining about were very tame in comparison. Mostly attire and music!

A very good tuppence worth too! We've also encountered or heard of similar instances.
Still it's not always so: our eldest son was walking to a colleagues house one early summer evening (off duty) and was attacked from behind by one of a gang. Although his shoulder was painful and he was very shaken by it, once free of them, he phoned his colleague living nearby and they managed to arrest that lunatic. Turned out he'd just decided to jump on the first person to come along. that's quite a frightening thought.

I've encountered larger groups of male youngsters and felt intimidated only to have them all stop and start admiring the dog! :)
Our younger son had a group of friends after he left school, and every one of them were polite and decent young people. They're all married and have families now, but are still the best of friends, and all still welcome at our home. I can't say the same for a group of 'friends' he had whilst still at school though!

All depends on how they're brought up I'm sure. Our parents had Victorian parents, and grew up with fairly strict disciplines, some of which were passed on in their bringing up of me (and my husband too). As such, watered down though those principles may be with each new generation, the basics still survive: respect and values, not only for others, but oneself too.
Somewhere along the line, a lot of that got lost for some people, and sadly, we do have an element of less than pleasant people everywhere we go.
