Yes thanks trish. I didn`t know they have been around for 22 years or more ! I think you would be very lucky to get them done on the nhs though. I have noticed in the news these last couple of weeks, where N.I.C.E. have been turning down cancer beating drugs because of the cost.:( I said to the wife, why bother making them in the first place if they are unaffordable ???
This is something that has long irked me - universities and pharmaceutical companies work long and hard to find a workable drug, people all over the world/country donate to the charities to help this research, and yet when they manage to develop a good drug/treatment, we can't have it! Doesn't make sense and is unfair. All life is precious, even if only for a matter of months. Unless a person is very old and with a really poor quality of life in other ways, no-one should be denied the chance/option to live a little longer or even get remission.
Apparently, despite being offered a discount, the latest drug has been turned down by the UK, when other parts of the EU are buying it for their patients!
NICE are not!

As for the implants, i think you are right about how they do it trish. They are very expensive, but should come to the grave with me.
Oh Terry, you have such a quaint way of putting things! :?:

I bought a mini aspire clone from fast tech for $10, are you saying they sell BVC coils now, if so have a link?
This is what I posted earlier:
I searched for and found BVC coils on FastTech last month, but since then, the part number doesn't resolve to anything properly. Put this number into their search, and you get coils and a Nautilus listed, but you can't click on the coils to get a page for them: 1701001

So, either what is due to arrive soon aren't BVC, or they are and they've had to remove the original listing. I'll be comparing them to a genuine one as soon as they arrive!

So, if you go to FastTech and put that part number in their search box, you'll see what I mean :)

This is the reason i be-grudge giving to charities trish, one-is the money getting there ? and two-even if it does, they plough it into research for something that the nhs can`t afford to buy, so what is the point ? Don`t get me wrong, we are always giving stuff to charity shops, it`s just that i don`t like putting cash into them boxes.

Take no offense in what I am saying. But anyone can dream something up,but I can take offense to what you're saying, hear me out. The real skill is design to manufacture for as less cost and capital as possible. Those generic drug companies have more skillful chemical engineers than the fat cats trust me. I have no pity for the drug companies losing their precious patents when all they do half the time is alter a little segment of the molecular structure so the can market it again, their hands are far from clean. And less face it if ......... and opium were legal half their dangerous crap wouldn't be needed.

We're exactly the same Terry - don't trust it to get into the hands of those who need it most, be it for the starving or for our own good through good research & care of sick people.

 I thought you would have something to say about that trish
 Well, we don't want to dwell on such things do we! Suffice to say they'll last one heck of a long time!

In my recent CV order, the SG RY smells really good! Will try it soon. The SG Strawberry Cream Tart is rather mild to me, but I don't seem to have a huge lot of success with some of the fruit ones, and the CV Barbed Star is a bit odd (as expected!) Not a bad odd, but I'm letting it sit a few days as some of theirs are often better for it. I'll try the Long Shift next week too!

I got my Strix order today too but haven't had much chance to investigate it yet -sniffed a few and they do smell good :) Always a dilemma knowing which to try first when there's a few to hand!

Yes, very true - I'm just looking at it from a patients point of view: if it's there and works, then people should have the option of getting it. No doubt it will become available in a generic form at some point, but then, not all generic drugs work quite as well. I have first hand proof of that.

It's only a few years ago that friends of a hospital here in the UK raised a lot of money for some radio therapy machines, yet the three machines stood idle because the hospital hadn't the funds to employ radiologists to operate them ...that's tragic, and you can only imagine how the patients waiting for life saving treatment felt.

The big pharmaceutical companies do charge too much, and make too much in profits, but that's the way of big business, and that's not going to change anytime soon no matter how many people shout and curse about it. Get rid of shareholders for a start, and perhaps there'd be a chance of change.

That is strange regarding the dripper, most people would argue that you get a better flavour  But having said that i am not sure what wicking material is used in the 306. ??

EDIT: bedtime for bonzo now so na night all. :)

Well I did say 'different' ...not better :) I couldn't be pestered dripping bits of liquid into it over and over to get the best taste, so I stick with the tanks and like what I get! ...or lump it!

Nite Terry!

Can`t argue with that trish  My 2nd order from MBV arrived this morning, exactly 6 days from ordering, as was my 1st. Pretty good going that from the states, and again they all smell lovely.:) I`ll get the trident sorted tomorrow, and give them a whirl.

Be good to hear what they're like! :) What's your favourites from the last lot?

I got a FastTech order today - the one posted on 4th. I'd opted for the 94cents for shipping, whereas the one posted on 30th didn't have the extra paid and hasn't arrived yet ..it's in the country though!

Todays is some Kanger V2 coils (the vertical type ones for my Aerotank and MOWS), and some drip tips .....two a bit odd, but three seem very good.
I don't like the one that comes on the MOW's: it's a sort of semi matt aluminium - nice size but I don't like using it much, so now I have a better one.

Out of the last lot my two favourites are Blue moo, and the dutch apple pie. i didn`t care too much for the other three, pineapple UDC, bavarian cream, and blood orange, so they will be on there way to ian next week.:) Have you tried the coils yet trish ? with the ry4. ?

Ah yes, I remember now! I'll try the Blue Moo when I get around to ordering some from them. Never yet had a blueberry one that didn't taste a bit like over-ripe fruit. I didn't like either of the CV ones. Don't think I'm a fan of coconut though, and one has it. May try the other one again some time.

The coils that came today were just some spare V2 Kanger ones - I'm wanting to try the Aspire BVC from FT ...if indeed they are BVC and not BDC! Think they'll arrive next week - then we'll see!
I'll try the RY soon - haven't got to it yet! I'll let you know as soon as I do! :)

No rush to try the ry trish, but i am certain you will love it. :) I like the Blue moo so much i got another 15 ml with this order. If it is consistent, as it should be, i will be getting a lot more of it too. Lovely blueberry on the inhale, with a beautiful creamy exhale I love it. :D

Seeing it was coffee time, I have tried it! Yes, it's really nice: a sort of toasted caramel taste to me.
I'm getting a little bit wheezy though and I do remember that LT's caramel had that effect on me too. The CV RY doesn't do that!
Still, I like this enough to use it again and just be careful with it! :)

Caramel, vanilla & custard seem to be ones that can be a bit of an irritant for me, so I always need to sift out the ones that I'm OK with.

After writing this, I tried turning the voltage down just a bit on the Spinner and I seem OK with it! Still tastes really good too! :)

Glad you like it trisha, that is the beauty of variable mods, you can tailor them to the perfect vape for you no matter what ohm coil you are using.

Yes, I do like it, and I'll probably get more!
The coil in this MOW is a 1.5 and I had the Spinner ll at just under 4v initially. I turned it down to 3.8 and then to around 3.4 and it's fine! I'm surprised just how responsive it is ..as good as the MVP2!

I do like the MVP's for not having to re-charge them too often, but I still don't love the button - about time they brought out an upgrade! ...in pretty metallic colours too! :)

Still, the Spinner ll with the MOW is very good - just don't care for the more frequent re-charging of it. My first one doesn't seem to be holding the charge as long as it did (It's 2 months old) so I've got a new one (the £19.99 red one I got via Ebay - scratch code checks out too!).

Suppose it's too soon for your a/b's to be starting to work?

Well i know i said i wasn`t going to do it till tomorrow, but here she is - My trident with a dual coil set up 0.8 ohms
Just interested ...don't want one: you made the two wire coils? and does it get wicks or not?
I don't know much about those things, but is it something you drip some into?
