This is something that has long irked me - universities and pharmaceutical companies work long and hard to find a workable drug, people all over the world/country donate to the charities to help this research, and yet when they manage to develop a good drug/treatment, we can't have it! Doesn't make sense and is unfair. All life is precious, even if only for a matter of months. Unless a person is very old and with a really poor quality of life in other ways, no-one should be denied the chance/option to live a little longer or even get remission.Yes thanks trish. I didn`t know they have been around for 22 years or more ! I think you would be very lucky to get them done on the nhs though. I have noticed in the news these last couple of weeks, where N.I.C.E. have been turning down cancer beating drugs because of the cost.I said to the wife, why bother making them in the first place if they are unaffordable ???
Apparently, despite being offered a discount, the latest drug has been turned down by the UK, when other parts of the EU are buying it for their patients!
NICE are not!
Oh Terry, you have such a quaint way of putting things! As for the implants, i think you are right about how they do it trish. They are very expensive, but should come to the grave with me.![]()

I thought you would have something to say about that trish
