today I feel as stiff as a board I couldn't drive even if I wanted to I am so glad that all my coiling is done and I have plenty of stuff to vape looking forward to getting this neck brace off though trying to wick with it is a pain in the ....
I went for my mini-medical at work today and they have told me I am not allowed to work until I pass my medical and they also said the medical will not be before Monday 20th April 2015 so not very happy about that one but I suppose life goes on Thinking of going to Jersey for a month as there is nothing else to do but I want to wait a month before going so I can enjoy it

Well I was going to say - RU sure in October, but then read the the bit below

Any particular reason for jersey ronnie ? Have you got family there, or do you just fancy it ? Never been meself !!!

Well worth going to Terry, but I would suggest in the Summer when it is warmer

because I don't like going abroad I don't like heat don't like the changing over of the money everything about a holiday is what I don't like so I try to go to Jersey English speaking uses our money and proper beer not crappy lager so it is a home from home love it

I was going to suggest somewhere warmer, like the Costa del Sol, not too hot in October/November, nice enough to be able to walk around in a t-shirt and shorts during the day, and possibly a jumper in the evening, but if you hate lager then probably best to go to Jersey, have a decent rest and recuperate, I'd like to see Guernsey as I haven't been there, or any of the other islands, only Jersey, and that was a long time ago as well.

How do you like the Unitank Burnie? Easy to use aren't they!
I've got a couple of leaky ones so haven't used them for a while.

Almost through one tank, standard coil that came installed, working good, no leaks. Will recoil and wick with Rayon this weekend and see how it goes, should be even better. :D Only thing is the Mini could be a little bigger, juice is going faster than I would like, but long enough for the size, and it does look good on my Hybris.

Trish knowing you like them, just a warning, don't be tempted by the so called Mini Protank 4s that are being listed on FT - I don't think Kanger have brought out a 4 yet, and don't know what type of heads it takes, but in the picture it looks nothing like a Kanger head
Thanks Bob - see what you mean ...doesn't look like anything I've seen. Thought it may be a Genitank rip-off, but it's not that either.
Still, it is described as 'Mini Protank 4 Styled'.
Interesting to see no link to the coils as they usually have on the pages.

Anytime I've bought a tank from FastTech, it's been one with 'authentic' in the description.

Just a quick check in to make sure your all behaving still

Things are looking good for my Mum, she goes in for her op next week.

The Missus is currently laid on the sofa, cushion under her bad leg, barking orders at me  She ended up having a partial knee replacement. Hope nobody is eating  :

They opened up her knee, removed the ball joint and replaced it with a metal one, then shaved down the bone around the ball section and fitted some new plastic friction material. The surgeon wouldn't tell me how much the replacement parts cost, I told him I was going to weigh it in for scrap value  She's feeling a lot better today, but she's on an extra 15 or so tablets per day, plus an injection to stop infection  Neither of us got any sleep her first night home, 2am, 4am and 6am - was like having a newborn in the house

Anyway, glad to see everyone is getting new toys/juices etc.

-----------------------

Ron, really sorry to hear about your woes mate. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a quick recovery.

Adam, hope your DIY tastes as good as mine ;)

Burnie, sorry that the rayon I sent didn't show up mate. I did send it by the cheapest postage option, but it should have arrived ages ago. It wasn't any great value, so if it's lost in the post, it's nothing major. I see you've managed to get some rayon now - hope you're enjoying it, great wicking material :D

Terry, have you been out on the bike recently ?? Last week, I drove past a pub near Middleton called the "Railway and Linnet". Loads of bikers were there, custom Harleys, right through to ... Superbikes. Look liked they were having a big meet - must have been at least 60 "Hogs" there. Made me think of you and your bike when I saw them :D

Bob, didn't know you were multi-lingual mate :D I've just been looking at FT myself and spotted those Protank 4's - I was going to put some in my wishlist for Xmas prezzies for the family - I'm glad I didn't bother now.

Trisha, thanks again for the really kind juice offer. Glad to hear that the LMP is getting better now, it's weird how some juices get better with time - wish I could say the same thing about myself

-----------------------------------------

Only thing I've managed to do vape related is build a dual coil in one of my drippers. 24g kanthal, 10 wraps each coil, came out at 0.3 ohms. At first I was going to bin it. But I've got it in a "Mephisto" dripper with massive airholes. Had to change the mod though, the button was getting a bit warm  No problems with the Panzer though with a Sony VTC5 battery. Surprisingly, it's not a hot vape. But I can only handle about 6 draws at a time, massive clouds though

-------------------------------------

Better pop off again now. Need to get the Wife sorted out for bed now, bloody hard work this being a carer

See you all again soon :D

Glad they are both on the mend ian :) I have been up to dovestones a couple of times, over the last fortnight but not been anywhere near middleton mate. The only bike club i am associated with is staybridge motorcycle club, but that is only on a social basis.

I am more of a lone rider really, as that way it is up to me only where i go and what i do etc, though i have thought about going on organized rides such as the bulldog but never got round to it. :)

In other news i had a trip up to A&E myself this morning with my gob. I woke up with a start, as it was like someone shoving a red hot poker in one of my teeth, The bloody pain was horrendous, so off i went and spent 2 hours waiting for a doctor, to tell me to go to the dentist:laugh: I thought i had an infection from where the tooth i had pulled a few weeks back,

He did look at it and tell me there was no infection though, which is a bonus i suppose. So back to the co-codamol for now and make another appointment to see the dentist. I do know one thing though, if this carries on my smile will go from this :D to this

Good to see you Ian! Glad things are going OK so far ...hope your Mum is fine next week too! :)

Glad you can utilise the ultra strong stuff!

I've used half the LMP, so will likely get some more soon!

I'm using the NT Got Cookie (Oreo) in with Confusion and ABC quite a lot ..it's even great with the Peanut Butter Cookie too! I got almost 100ml of it, and only using it 15-20% with the others, it'll last a good while!
Doing the same with Wakonda and H1N1 too. Works great as long as I don't use them too much ...get wheezy if I do!

Yes, being a carer is hard work! You're doing a great job :)

Heck Terry! You and your mouth! ;)
You've had plenty of problems with it in the past couple of months!
Hope it's nothing much and gets sorted easily!

I know trish, I know. I suppose it is just one of those things That creeps up on you and you don`t realize Till the pain starts hitting. I have always tried to look after my peggies but my mum had all hers removed in her late 40`s, so maybe it is something in the old genes, i honestly dont know.

All i can do is visit my dentist again, and get another plan together, Maybe if i get this one pulled out, that will be the end of it, and i will just get them replaced with implants. But for now the co-codamol washed down with guinness seems to be doing the trick.

Not really, a few words here and there mainly French & German, but can book a room, get the beers in :toast:, and ask for directions, problem comes when they answer, if too quick or complicated then I might not understand them , most of Europe speaks English anyway as a second language, which is usually better than my attempts at their language, but some of them appreciate me trying/failing.

Ready for the LSE meet tomorrow up town, managed to get the eXpromiser & Pontus cleaned & the last new KFL all rebuilt today, so now have them all up and running, the KF Mini needed the cotton changing, and I ended up damaging the coil pulling it out, was one of those tiny prebuilt NR-R-NR wires, so ended up replacing it with a FT prebuilt wick & wire which will hopefully last a bit longer.

Update on the eXpromiser, had a slight problem in that you get a build up of vapour liquid in the Drip Tip well, so I have to remove the Drip Tip every couple of days to clean the well out, apart from that it really is a good RBA.

I know how it feels, I'm a 16/7/340 carer: 16 hours that she is normally awake, 7 days a week, about 340 days a year (got to have a break sometimes)

My Mum had all her teeth out when I was quite small - I'd hazard a guess that she'll have been around 40. I do recall they'd all become loose, but don't know the reason. She had been treat wrongly for under-active thyroid and was very ill, thin and weak as a result! Perhaps that had some bearing on it.
My Dad had all his teeth (give or take a couple) until he died - hopefully, I'll have inherited something similar.

This thread is starting to get like a hospital waiting room, glad to hear the wife is recuperating, and best wishes for your Mum next week, I'm in myself on the 3rd October, hopefully only as a day patient, see if they can get my arteries unblocked, been told to bring overnight stuff just in case.
Hope it gets done satisfactorily and that you do get home the same day! No place like your own bed :)

most of Europe speaks English anyway as a second language, which is usually better than my attempts at their language, but some of them appreciate me trying/failing.
I was once in Madrid, and in their large department store El Corte Ingles. The household/kitchen ware floor is huge, and I'd asked an assistant if she spoke English (It seemed very few did did anywhere in Madrid) and a lady came running from the other end of the floor shouting "another English voice!" - she'd been there for 3 weeks and was desperate to be able to speak to someone! :)

That is a distinct possibility bob, as the bugger did not want to come out. :(
My Mum had a fair bit of trouble after having her teeth out, and after some time it was discovered that a tiny bit of tooth was still embedded in her gum. Once out, she was fine.

I've been looking at FT for a new clone dripper and was thinking about the mephisto actually, along with the similar looking zenith v2. I'd like a plume veil but so far am unconvinced by the comments on the clones on FT.

Might go for the veritas as well as one of the clones I've seen recommended.

Anyway hope you're keeping well buddy.

Interested to hear what the Black Mamba is like when it's ready! :)

Giving them all a go on a dripper this morning. I started at 10% with the black mamba because I couldn't find 'reliable' info on the strength to go for. Found people ranging from 10-20% generally but nothing in depth or manufacturer details so went for 10%. It's maybe a bit weak but you can tell it tastes good, maybe enough for some but i'll probably go up to 12-15%.

They say: "Like the snake, this martini inspired e-liquid has some serious bite ! A fierce blend of multiple flavors headlined by blackberry and a smooth cranberry flavor with a splash of citrus"

I'm definitely getting blackberry and cranberry mostly (and in that order) with a little tartness. It's not a super sweet fruit flavour but it's not too tart. I've been looking for realistic fruit flavours as too many are 'candy' like and this seems like it'll fit the bill. Bear in mind I think it's a bit weak so it might be tarter (is that a word?) at proper strength.

The chefs vapour concentrates are as good as I'd expect. Leaving Lew's brew to steep more as it's not fruity but jungle juice is delicious, kind of reminds me of um ....o (remember that?).

Mom and Pops I started at 15% as they recommended 10-20% and I reckon that is easily strong enough for me. They both need some more time I think but taste very nice even now. Krunchberry surprised me a little in that the flavours come the opposite way round to what I was expecting (let me explain that!), in that you get strong sweet berry on the exhale and then the milky biscuity taste follows to smooth it out. Apple pie is great, more cinnamon flavoured than I expected but I think that the apple/pastry gets stronger with time as I tried this one straight after mixing and the cinnamon was like a kick to the throat. I'm happy to find today it's much smoother so will let this one steep some more.

Would recommend any of these so far. Chefs vapour stock so many 'complex' flavour concentrates (as opposed to single flavour e.g. Lime) it'll definitely become my go to for this stuff.

On that note, has anyone tried anything from T-Juice? Was going to order their Red Astaire concentrate but it was out of stock at the time (came back in about 2 days later  )
