Hoping they might be able to say whether he is still there or discharged, if the latter he might be in Jersey recuperating and not bothering with anything else, although you would think he would have told us, if that's the case. I know they won't be able to tell us anything about his condition, but if he is still there they might be able to let me talk to the ward and perhaps leave a message for his brother Tom to get in touch when he visits.
It does seem odd that we've heard nothing at all lately.
Hope they are willing to tell you something :)

Yes i would certainly try another 10 ml trish to see if there is a difference. If you find that you are okay with the new 10 ml, you can always just work away what you have left of the 30 ml, Like in the doughnut. :)
I'll do that and see how it is!
I wouldn't risk adding more PG to the doughnut if that's the case. I do enough of that with the NT ones I like that are PG/VG. Haven't had any of those for four days now and have been much better ...not perfect, but definitely better.

Maybe something in your answer there trish :) Nearly bedtime for bonzo again sadly, so signing off for now, night trish :)

RE: RON Well now this is getting weird, I called the James Cook Uni Hospital, which is the biggest in the area, and they checked and have not had him in, there is a smaller one in Stockton, so I tried that as well, and they have had nobody by the name I was given either between the 23/09 when Tom said he was admitted and 16/10 last time he was on here.

If you have sent him stuff Terry and the addy is either TS3 or TS5 then both are very close to the JCUH, maybe if you have his addy, might be worth sending him a note if you can.

Any news on your dna 40 board enquiry from grey haze Bob?

They just said to watch their site for any news, at the same time as I emailed GH I also emailed Midlands vaping who were supposed to be putting the DNA40 Vapor Flask up for sale last night, haven't had a reply, but the Flask didn't go on sale and the site states date has been altered, so it looks like it's a waiting game until the problems have been fixed and the faulty DNA boards can be swapped over

we all saw this message yesterday, but I don't think any of us read it properly, I know I didn't:

Look at the message she is replying to, it is the very 1st message by Ian back on the 23/05/13 that started this thread.

Hmm strange about Ron. Hope he is tracked down and ok.

Thanks for the update. I'm 90% decided I'm going to get a vaporhsark rDNA 40 now so not sure whether to just place the order with grey haze or wait until an announcement is made about the boards or when they are in stock etc.

Will need to get some Ni200 wire as well! My normal wire place has it but only in 25m spools and I'm not sure what guages to get anyway as the resistance is so low.

Yes I have been thinking about that as well, all the wire I have is Kanthal except for small bits that come with atties and the small box of pre-made Nr-R-Nr micro coils that I got from FT, seeing as most of mine are 3mm macro coil builds I would be looking at 28g

Also thought I'd share this build I did lately.

Twisted 28ga on the veritas clone and comes out at about 0.5 ohms. Good vape. I find twisted builds take a bit longer to heat up and take a bit of breaking in before they are nice and smooth. You get a lot of popping for a while

Nice, I haven't tried twisted yet, that looks like a smart RDA, how do you find it? With my Lemo the very first draw of the day I get one big POP and that's just normal 28g built to 1.1 ohm.

This was one of my first twisted builds. I've done a couple more since then, comparing them to a similar resistance normal coil I'd say they are slower to heat up but they do provide 'thicker' vapour and the flavour is a bit different, possibly more intense. After a while I like to go back to a 'lighter' flavour build. They also heat up the atomiser top cap more than a regular build I find.

Anyway the Veritas is this clone from FT:

$8.49 Veritas Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - 1:1 clone / stainless steel / 21.8mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

and I'm happy with it.

The centre pin is brass and some people don't like brass touching their juice but I wasn't that bothered and to be honest not much juice touches the pin anyway, unless you drip through the airhole.

Some people on FT reported the positive centre pin insulator (the little plastic nut below the two metal ones) melted when they fired super sub ohm builds but I've had no issues at 0.4 - 0.6 ohms that I've built on it. I test fired a 0.4 ohm build for over 5 seconds before it was wicked when I first got it to see if it would melt, as I didn't think I'd go any lower than that in this one and once it's wicked and juiced it won't get as hot obviously. It was fine.

The only issue with mine is that one of the screws had a dent in it (you can just about make it out in the picture, it's not the screw I've used in the build) but it still works ok so I'm not worried. The inside of the top cap had a couple burrs near the airhole (I find you get this with clones sometimes) but other than that the finish is good. Not as good as my infinite magma clone but fine for a clone.

As for the vape it gives I like it. Flavour is great, airflow is easy to adjust and a decent range (airer than the magma for example), fits a good amount of juice in that funny shaped well and it's almost impossible to make it leak unless you overfill it.

Like I said some people drip through the airflow but that seems a bit silly to me. You can drip through the drip tip hole or I just take the top cap off. The o-rings on the base are not an overly tight fit (just tight enough I think) so I just pop it off each time.

For just over £5 it's great value.

Really odd - he was taken to hospital as an emergency and I think put into ICU, and we heard nothing about him being moved anywhere else such as to a private hospital.

I noticed that it was a reply to the first message, but as it was a fairly generalised query, it would be hard to find a more recent appropriate post to reply to.
On some forums (not ECF of course), you have to reply to a post to make a post of your own rather than just a post to the thread in general ..perhaps she didn't think to use that method ....apart from that, don't know.

Thanks for the info, have put it on my wanted list, and when i get enough on it I'll put in another order :)

It is isn't it, I really think he would have been taken to the JCUH unless you know of somewhere else they would have taken him, seeing as he is up your way.

Some of them look pretty good, if you get any, let us know what they are like, was watching something on ITV earlier based up there and the woman went out to get a couple of lambs and mentioned getting some 'WATTER', long time since I've heard that. :)

Good idea, hadn't thought of that, I have one of those 07005 personal numbers that I give out, that way if they want to call me it costs them plenty

There's a couple on the site that I like the sound of, so I'll give them a try at some point Bob. I could probably even drive over there to pick them up, probably about an hours drive from me :D

I never answer unknown numbers, most of the time their trying to sell double glazing

If i am honest ian, i was looking at the prices i paid for them, and it probably equates to about 60 fags at todays prices. Couple that with the money i`ve saved since quitting and i am still on a winner, a rather big winner as well. So they will probably go to the mod cemetery. :)

I'd say keep them for spares just in case. But you know me, I don't like throwing things away, proper tight me

Why ?

Night mate.

If I don't talk to her before bed, she'll only start chatting when I'm trying to go to sleep

What? ...the boring F1 thing - they're only a lot of noisy cars chasing each other around and hopefully passing a few without smashing them up ...my Dad thought it boring too! ...and like football, they get paid too much as well!

I think they should be paid more  Seriously though, their facing possible death or serious injury at every turn. Their some of the fittest sports people you could ever meet. Lightning fast reflexes, amazing car control and their at the pinnacle of motorsport. They get journalists interviewing them on the grid, 5 minutes before the start of a race, you wouldn't see football players with a microphone in their face 5 minutes before kick off. On the hottest race days, they can lose up to 3kg in body weight during a race. Similar g-forces to the fastest fighter jet pilots and they don't wear compression suits. A huge amount of safety and performance devices that we now enjoy in our family cars were originally developed by F1 engineers. Have I managed to convert you yet ??

I'd have spotted it Bob, if I'd have been around :p:laugh:

That really is weird Bob. Even if they couldn't give any info about his condition, they would still be able to tell you if he'd been admitted or discharged. Getting quite strange now. Maybe Ron is really working for MI5, he's been deep undercover posing as a coach driver, trying to infiltrate the hard core vaping community  I do hope he's ok though.

Nice build Adam, very nice.

I've done a few twisted builds myself, got one in the RM2 on one of the Reos at the moment. Gives a superb vape. The only slight downside for me, is the coil gunks up really quickly, a lot faster than single strand coils - have you found the same mate ??

I love double glazing phone calls, I'd chat to them for hours then when it gets to the nitty gritty, I'd have to tell then to contact the council :banana:
