Yes that`s what i was thinking Ian, as soon as i find a bit of play time i will do a bit of experimentation :D

Well you've got plenty of room to play with the wattage, so many new possibilities to try out :D

Forgot to mention, the mini screwdriver that came with mine, didn't have the end machined to fit the screws on the battery cover. It's just a round end on the screwdriver I got  Not a problem though, I've got plenty of allen keys and screwdrivers in my toolkit, so I soon had the back off it :)

------------------------

I'd better shoot off now. Got another stupidly long day tomorrow, about 12 hours.

Night all.

I see the brass one is a fair bit dearer though Bob and their both out of stock :(
If you ever change your mind about babysitting mate  It really is a fantastic looking mod though Bob.

I use the touch sensor on mine Bob, must be someone else your thinking of.

Brain is getting frazzzled, I'm sure it was on here that someone said they don't use it.

Then i will gradually restock It introducing a few fish at a time, till i am happy with it.
Ooh! Will there be a couple of kippers ..they're quite pretty smilie hide face.gif

Does making the right noises include grunting, I do that a lot
Doesn't work really - if it's too vague "you're not listening" ...."You're using that computer again!" - Heck, just about everything to do with my work in on this computer, and if I'm actually working, I don't always listen intently! ...no, I have to somehow keep half my mind on what he's talking about and half my mind on what I'm supposed to be doing - at the end of the day, I remember nothing!

To be honest, at the time I hated Schumacher winning all the time. Won't tell you what I used to shout at the TV when he won, I'm too much of a gent to do that
Well, I'm sorry he had that accident (even if he shouldn't have been off-piste!) - but I always thought him arrogant and with an entitled attitude. He was even unpleasant to his brother in public at times. So sorry, but I didn't much like him as a sportsman.
Don't care for the Williams sisters either, or that dreadful little toad Phil Taylor the darts player. Husband likes darts but kept turning it off when he was playing. I told him the law of averages say he'd start losing, and he actually missed the pleasure of seeing him beaten a few times ...so he watches it now. I hear a positive exclamation now and then, which means he got beaten!

My Mum is great at ringing at the wrong time. It's usually when I've just sat down with some food. She always says, hope it's not an awkward time to ring
We have a single chap neighbour who developed an uncomfortable habit of turning up at mealtimes, when I was working, or we were watching television etc. - he even brought his Dad sometimes!. Lot more to it, but it went on for 18 months & started impacting my work in a big way after a while because I half expected a knock at the door all the time. Husband didn't quite know how to deal with it, so it was down to me to be firm and make it clear they needed to scarper ..permanently!
Just got back into my proper work routine again, and a few months later stopped smoking and lost my concentration! Drat! Can't win sometimes :(

Been trying a couple more of the FlavourArt ready to use liquids today. I'd had the cocoa/fresh cream in a tank yesterday, so re-filled it with Vienna Cream and put perhaps 5% of NT Strawberry Symphony in it. It was lovely! Vienna Cream is a cream, meringue, sugar one, so that small amount of strawberry together with a tiny bit of cocoa residue made for a very tasty combination! I'll use that again.
I've also tried the Vanilla Tahity ..very light cream & almond flavour at the moment, so perhaps needs to sit for a while!

Even prettier when they are sat on a plate swimming in butter

I used to have them every morning for breakfast when I worked on the switchboards at the Dorchester Hotel, but for the life of me I can't remember how to get the bone out in one go, and if you don't you might as well throw it away.

Long time since I had any kippers! I like smoked haddock with savoury rice! ...and I like peppered mackerel with salad and French bread!
...and I love decent fish n chips, but we don't eat those very often!

Mmmmmm, Smoked Haddock, can't find it these days in plastic bags with the butter in it, so all you had to do was drop it in a pan of boiling water and let it simmer, Rainbow Trout is nice as well, had that for an evening meal one Christmas when I worked the Hotel switchboards, rarely eat fish these days, unless it has batter round it.

There`s a guy who does the pub rounds up here, carries a basket with kippers, cockles, muscles, prawns etc. Everyone calls him ken, and when i call him Darryl, i get some funny looks

The reason is this...Ken who is/was Darryls dad started the business off way back in the 70`s, and believe me when i say there was a transitional period ,when the son took over, and because they looked so so alike no one seemed to notice .

Even i used to call darryl ken, till my younger brother explained to me

Very nice kippers though whatever his name

My Mum was good with kipper bones! somehow, she slid a knife under one end and seemed to just lift the whole lot off in one go. Never did ask about it, but thinking back, she worked in a fishmongers when only a young woman - needless to say, she didn't like it and went off and was a nurse at UCH - think that's where she met my Dad as he was lodging in Baker St while on leave from Africa.
It'll be 29 years today since she died.

Sometimes, Tesco's fishmonger counter has some nice thick pieces, so we panfry it with herb sea salt and ground black pepper. Goes very nicely with the Birds eye rice, egg & peas.
We also had rainbow trout one Christmas Eve - it was in a hamper that my husband was given from work. Very nice! We really should try it again.
We also buy fresh tuna steaks and cod fillets from Tesco if they look good. The tuna is nice with Caesar salad and a little extra parmesan, and the cod is good (again panfried) with little rosemary roast potatoes or mash and green beans.

I couldn't bring myself to buy anything from those basket sellers. I once got campylobacter food poisoning, and it was so bad, I'm extra careful now.

Both of you stop it, you're making me hungry and Terry if it comes out the sea and it ain't a fish I don't want to know, turns me stomach all that other muck.

I'm off to bed now, have to be up at nine, so be good.
Quite agree Bob - no shellfish, things with squiggly legs, no legs, or with pincers, or the ones big enough to eat us!
They make me shudder just thinking about them! ...and nothing raw either !

Yes it can get a bit confusing, i got the 20 amp effests from torchy as i have used him for ages now, and as i say i won`t be going much lower than 1 ohm, and i certainly won`t be pushing the 50 w limit, so all should be good. :)

1 ohm don't go above 30w and at 1.4 ohm you can go as high as 50w if you wanted to with those batteries.

Hey guys didn't stop in yesterday as was busy with work (yawn) but catching up now thought I'd add to the IPV2/batteries discussion:

I think those 20A continuous batteries will be fine for the ipv2 whatever you do with it Terry. Looking at other discussions about the issue and the info on the chip in that mod:

SX330 50W Chip

it seems to suggest that 20A is the max input anyway so I think you'll be fine.

I'm not sure exactly what calculations Bob has done about this but I don't get the same numbers when I plug some things in. the IPV 2 is 50W down to 0.2 ohms so pushing it at that I get about 16A output. As bob said you can only go 50W if the coil is 1.4 ohm or lower as the device has a 8.5V limit.

I would love to visit Japan, but I would probably end up in McDonalds every day, because their main diet seems to be raw fish, but saying that I did got to a Japanese Restaurant in Belgium with a group, and we had chopped omelette for starters and if I remember fried fish and crispy noodles as the main, great fun with the chopped egg as the chef did it all in front of us, and did a show by tossing bits to us to catch in our mouths before it was served.

I used the Steam-Engine site, locking in the Current (A) at 10 & 20 then altering the Resistance to see what Power figures came up with, also locking the Power (W) at 10, 20 & 50 and altering the Resistance to see what Current came up with, it's quite a useful site.

I wish the guy who did a lot of tests on batteries would update his site (www.lygt-info.dk) that shows the curves etc. to compare some of the newer batteries, he obviously did the tests for torch use rather than vaping but it is still useful for some info. What we could do with is a comprehensive list of batteries that can and cannot be used with the size, mAh, Max Amps and C rating. Wonder if Phil Busardo would do such a test, might get in touch with him.

EDIT: Just popped off an enquiry on his site.

Brilliant idea Bob on the battery tests. It seems the more you read, the more you feel there is only 1 safe battery out there ( the vtc5 ). I'm sure not everyone vapes at full speed and needs 30a all the time. A genuine test of test is really needed especially with all the new batteries coming on the market and I would like to see the test include how long the batteries would last ( in ml ) on an average mod.

That was sort of the start of my message to Phil, saying that now VTCs are hard to get hold of and eFests showing Pulse rate, also that we are now getting mods that are 150w plus, what are the alternatives to the community and would he be prepared to do a test review of available batteries. When I get a reply I'll let you all know.

Thanks Adam, i never thought to look for the specs on it. Anyhoo, looking at that and the ohms what i typically vape at, all should be good. :)
