Just looking at that meself Trish, I might be tempted at £16
EDIT
Assuming the full charge/low wattage issue has been fixed
Yes, tempting price but seeing the colours are totally different, I was disappointed to see the gold specks on them! Not as attractive in my view.
As for fixing anything, I very much doubt it. That'll be with the version 2 copy

I think they'll sell a few units of the Kayfun mini with a glass tank @ £9
Perhaps so. Anything that's rebuild only isn't something I'd want though.

Quick everyone get the entire set!
Right! ....er, why?
To be honest, after that Hana Mini I'm a bit wary. I'm no electrical expert by a very long way, but it looked a bit shoddy to me. Had it been plain colours on this copy ...perhaps I'd have liked one, but still undecided.

Somehow I don't think so - clones of chinese stuff is just not on - they are obviously cutting corners somewhere, or am I just being picky
Depends what Eleafs base purchase price will be to FT, but I suppose a copy could be made for less yet still make a profit over the mark-up on the Eleaf?

For you Nautilus Mini lovers: $13.41 Vapefly Vigor BVC Bottom Vertical Dual Coil Clearomizer - 1.8ml / 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping someone in the Discussions reckons it is good and can take the Nautlius BVC coils
Not as attractive in appearance as the Nautilus, but at the price pretty good.

I noticed, when buying some BVC coils, FT also have some BVD (not to be confused with the old BDC) and both that and the BVC have the mesh insert. I can't see what the difference is as neither are authentic.

Sorry I wasn't about yesterday folks. Did a 12 hour shift and was knackered when I finished, plus was feeling proper rough - just started with "Man Flu"

Went to bed last night at 10pm, wrapped up in my thermals. Woke up this morning at 9am  Feel a bit better today, just all bunged up. Good job I'm not working today :D It's them bloody passengers, coughing, sneezing and choking on my bus

That is exactly how i used to wick mine bob, up the chimney first, it was fairly recently that i started trimming them at the base, then stick them to the side of the positive block, just above the channels. Ian this is for you as well mate cos i read your post earlier. Anyhoo, i think i will go back to the old way as bob suggests. I`ve also got to say that it is only the mini what behaves like this, all my other tanks wick just fine. :)

As long as it works that's the main thing mate. Don't forget, I've opened up a lot of my juice channels and airflow on my toppers, so that will affect how I wick them. Even with a standard topper, I found a thicker wick tail, I would get dry hits and had to cover the airholes and do suction draws to get them wicking again. Only downside for the way I do it, sometimes I can get overwicking, but I'll live with that :D

Fasttech have a box mod on sale that is listed as iP V2

they have not listed it as authentic

there is no pull tab in the battery compartment and shouldn't the model be iPV 2 ?

is this a ringer, what do you think ?

EDIT

They have now added the word style into the description - so more junk then

It is a clone Vince, you're right mate. No mention of the chipset either. So for me that's one unknown I don't think I'd like really. If it's got the same chipset as the original IPV2, then it's going straight in the basket

Things were bumbling along fairly OK and then someone with thoughtless words opened an old wound, but one that still hurts a lot. We've both been upset by it - 'nother day tomorrow, and hopefully it won't be mentioned again by that person. (sniff)

Hope things have improved Trisha :)

If you have enough to last until I find out where this order is hopefully it'll all be OK. I do have a bottle of flavouring though so if Ian tells me how much of it will make a 2 flavour shot bottle, I'll make you a bottle of .6 VG :)

To be honest I haven't got a clue how much extra they use per flavour shot. I know, no help at all

I'll wait on the reviews for them. They could be a good alternative, depending on the internals and the resistance of toppers that can be used on them. Just don't buy them all up yet Trisha

I trimmed the wicks yesterday ian, and it seemed to have worked :) Woke up this morning, my first bloody draw was a dry hit  I was nearly sick with coughing  So next time i open it up, i will either try up the chimbly way, or use cotton ! It`s strange that it is only the KF mini what behaves this way

Anyhoo, my chefs order arrived today, and i got 3 SG ones, The sunshine smells delicious, i also got 30 ml of twilight, i really enjoyed that last time, and i got 10 ml of the captain custard to try.

Which reminds me, Todd is always vaping THIS ONE Has anyone tried it ?

To be honest, you may as well just pay the extra 4 quid for an authentic one. :toast:

When they have them in stock mate  You and Trisha bought them all

They are probably made in the same factory Terry.
They should have done a green one, splashed red, and called it zombie like Provari ;-)

They probably are George. Only difference I can see is no wall charger. But I'd still wait for a back to back review with the iStick first.

:offtopic: I remember seeing a "Zombie" box mod on ebay a while back. Custom painted and hand built. When I first saw it, it was up for about 600 quid, next day it had gone down to about £100. Reckon there'd been some shill bidding on that one  Finally sold for about £150. Did look good though, shame I didn't have a tank to match it

maybe the wicks had come away from the sides a little and blocked up the juice channels  Or, thinking about the "gutter" effect I was talking about. Do you thin out the wick tails mate ?? I cut mine almost into a V shape, never had any dry hit problems.

Like I said though, as long as it works, that's the main thing :D

I'll be interested on what you think about the Captains custard.

Not tried the one in Todd's review, sorry.

And a Kamry "20 watt istick killer" will all be launched

within a month

Dont ask for sources, I've been all over the internet picking

up tidbits today

Who's "informed scuttlebutt" ?? Does he do e-cig reviews ??

That's the thing about this game though Vince, every week, there's something new and better coming out. That's the best thing about vaping :D

Na na na na na  Off for some grub see ya later. :)

Save me some mate, I have "Man Flu", so I'm not allowed to get up and go to the kitchen

They have dark blue/gold/silver and black that are single colours
It would have to be a different colour for me to want one, not too sure about gold ...still thinking :)

Do you think they look physically exact in appearance Trish ?
Yes, I do - apart from the screw heads being slightly different on the base ..can't see them properly on the top as there's no image for that. Size & style look identical otherwise.

Sorry I wasn't about yesterday folks. Did a 12 hour shift and was knackered when I finished, plus was feeling proper rough - just started with "Man Flu"
Ach! last thing you want on a day off! Hope you see it off today. Seems to be a bit of the 24 hour thing about. Beechams powders still rule for us! Never know why but they seem to do more than anything else for that 'flu' feeling.

Hope things have improved Trisha :)
Thanks Ian. Still a bit raw today and suddenly made worse by an outburst we hadn't expected. It's a case of not knowing if someone is aware of what upset us yesterday - suffice to say it's all to do with a son and a meddling wife, and us not wanting to rock the boat by mentioning it, because it does look like she didn't tell him what she'd done.

To be honest I haven't got a clue how much extra they use per flavour shot. I know, no help at all
No problem - when I make some for myself I'll go for a middle amount and see how it is.

I tried the Pchela's Poison I made using 5% and it's good ..got the flavours it says it has (dark, rich cocoa, caramel, cream and just a touch of mocha.) but I've added a bit more flavour to see if it's even better. I'll certainly use the bottle I've made.

I'll wait on the reviews for them. They could be a good alternative, depending on the internals and the resistance of toppers that can be used on them. Just don't buy them all up yet Trisha
No chance of me doing that :) ...may have bought one if it had been plain red though!

To be honest, you may as well just pay the extra 4 quid for an authentic one. :toast:
..and if they ever do a red one, I will!

Now, where is that tin of red spray paint

I've got that and it's really nice. Haven't tried it for a while ...will try some later! :)

Yes Todd always seems to be using it in his reviews, let me know trish ! And if you can give a comparison to the GVC, that will be great. :)

Thanks Trisha. Pretty certain it's just a cold. I've been popping paracetamol today, which normally works for me. I'll have a nice hot bath later and stick the thermals on again for bed.

One thing I have noticed though, since I started vaping, cold symptoms aren't anywhere near as bad as when I was smoking :D

Thanks Ian. Still a bit raw today and suddenly made worse by an outburst we hadn't expected. Sometimes family members, especially ones that have married into the family, can be a real nightmare. I tend to avoid one of my Brother in Laws for this reason, he'll say things that annoy me, but half of the time, I don't even think that he realises he's wound me up. I just stay away for that reason :(

No problem - when I make some for myself I'll go for a middle amount and see how it is.

Best way to do it. If in doubt, always go for the one in the middle

That sounds really interesting. May have to pick that flavouring up next time I order.
