Anyone know anything about the N-Zonic Mod?

Was at my local B&M today (Local vape) and they had just gotten them in...

They look nice, not sure I need a swarovsky(sp?) In the base of my PV, but...

What I Do know:
Mechanical
Telescopic
Bottom button
Fits up to an 18650+ Kick, stock.
Magnetic firing button(don't even understand what that means)
Sweet 1mm throw on the button
Made in the Philippines by Madz Modz
304 stainless
Floating positive pin

Just trying to decide if I should hold out for a Roller, or pick this up.... So any information or opinions on this device or the maker would help

Of note, on the video review I have seen, it could only take certain batteries. e-fests were too wide and would not go in.

It's also got copper pins, which are super low voltage drop (in theory; don't know how well it works in practice, since I haven't seen any meter tests) and upgradeable to silver, which is even better.

Yeah, the lack of any real tests or durability info it's what I'm worried about.

The B&M is selling them for $180... which by my math is like a $50 mark up, but I expect high prices from b&m.

I'd pass for 180. It's cool to get stuff a lot of people don't have but there are a lot of proven things for 180

I know what it is normaly priced, and I don't mind paying markup for a brick and mortar, but I'm not paying $50+ markup for anything less than amazing.

Its nice but not amazing for $180. To many other mods out there in that price range. Don't get me wrong its a very nice mod and I like it a lot but at that price you have better options.

You know the bag seemed cool but the mod is a little plain jane for the price after you get it shipped. I do like the sentinel though, which is a bit cheaper.

Yea the Sentinel is cool, the modder is a really cool guy. I have one of the copper version on order

Just realized i never updated this...

I went with the NZonic... picked up #665



Then promptly torched it, to oxidize the steel a cool Gray/Blue/Purple...



I did pay the $180... and the reason is two-fold...

1. Convenience... I didn't have to stalk any web site or play the F5 bingo... I saw on Facebook that Local Vape had them in stock and drove over... easy.

2. Had I bought it online, I'd have paid quite a bit in shipping and wait... I'm not a patient person... It's worth paying a small premium to be able to walk into a shop and walk out with my device.

I do love it... to answer my own questions(for future members who may wonder):

Mechanical By any difinition... doesn't even have a spring...
Telescopic uses 1 tube from 18350-18500 and another from 18500-18650+kick (comes with both tubes
Magnetic firing buttonthis is pretty damn slick... no spring, just opposing magnets.
Sweet 1mm throw on the button and its adjustable... easily... though I always have mine set to the minimum
304 stainless made it possible to torch it
Floating positive pin 99% Pure copper

The one thing that is super goofy IMHO is, as most people agree, the crystal. Who in the world decided to add that to the mod? If it were anywhere but the button it would be a super deal breaker to be honest...

It is the one "feature" that made me second guess buying it...

In the end... it's goofy beyond belief, pretty damn ridiculous and completely pointless... and as a result... a funny as hell conversation starter.

I mean, it just doesn't get much better than, "Yeah, You may have a Provari... I got a .......n Swarovski Crystal in my firing button for no good reason at all"
