What I am looking for is how to get the top and bottom caps off of the clearomizers intact so I can re-use them. My idea is to get a pure glass test tube and cut it down and then re-glue the caps back on the glass test tube. This will create a pure glass clearomizer that will still be re-buildable. I will then get a good thick piece of black rubber(nice looking) and create a sleeve around the glass with the black rubber. This rubber will act as a protection sleeve for the glass, so if it gets dropped it won't break. Lastly the black sleeve will keep light out so it won't degrade any e-liquid.

some of the clearos dont come apart, you would have to get one of the rebuildables and experiment, in the end your trying to make a tank and theres a ton already available cheap, get a vivi nova with a solid metal tube same difference.
and lol the juice wont be in there long enough to degrade if you vape like most of us.................

Almost all of them can. Some are just hard to pull apart from the tank.

I haven't seen one that you can't rebuild honestly. Some are just designed to make it easier.

as its all press fitted anyways im sure you can pry them apart. but in the end why make it hard lol just get one made to come apart, thinking about it one that comes apart is threaded - you could stick a rubber grommet in the end of the glass tube then screw the threaded part right into the rubber grommet
