Anyone know of a tank I don't have to mess with?

Got a Kanger Unitank that never worked right. Got a Clearomiser 30 with my MPV that leaks like a Harley. I work with finicky machines for a living, so I really would not have to work on them after work. I don't want to rebuild coils and all that jazz, I just want something that works and is easy to maintain. I'm currently using the clearomiser 16s that came with my starter kit. Anyone know of anything that holds more juice but works as well?

I hate to say it... But if you'd invest a few hours learning to rebuild a kayfun your prayers would be answered. I've had mine a bit over 30 days (I have three now). Took me 10 mins (now about 3) to build a coil, wick it and I've been using it ever since just flipping out a new wick each weekend (takes about 1 min). No leaks, no dry hits, no gurgle, awesome flavor, awesome throat hit... Everything I'd hoped to get from my inconsistent pro tanks.

i used rips video.. The first part not the chimney... Set it up EXACTLY like he shows and you'll be a happy camper.

Thanks for the reply, but isn't there something that works where you don't have to go out and buy a 64th drillbit and special wire etc?

I'd second the nautilus if you dont want to fiddle with rebuilding coils. The tank holds 5ml of juice and I have yet to have any leaking. The only prob I've had with it(not huge) is on the lowest air setting it tends to flood a bit. Switching to the largest setting clears it up and it's good to go.

Looked at the Nautilus. Looks good. Done and done. Thanks guys.

You'll get 20 different answers to that :). My experience so far is no. I'll mail you a drill bit if you need it lol. I'm jus saying - 100 ft of kanthal 28 gauge off amazon is $2.00, organic cotton balls off amazon is $3.00, 5/64 drill bit is a buck... For this I can build wicks for a year...vs spend 2 for crappy pro tank coils that last 2 weeks and vape poorly. Biggest expense is $12 for a 510 ohm checker. It's really very simple to build...and the better vape quality/reliability makes me wish I'd done it a year ago.

Carto tanks I have found to be the least fussy thing to use. I've been thru many of the protanks, evods, T3s, T2, CE3-4-5, Unitank, and others. Many were good, but none were foolproof. All of them leaked or gurgled at some point. I have been using carto tanks for the last 2 months, both smoktech and ibtanked, and they have been great for me. It's amazing how, once you have set them up for your vaping style, they just don't leak.

I second the Kayfun. I've had nothing but bad issues with Protanks. The other suggestions I can't comment on. But with Protanks I've had leaking, gurgling, dry hits plus subdued flavour. (I'm not discounting user error with all of these though!) I found rebuilding a kayfun is a small price to pay for the hassle free vape that it provides and you really don't need to rebuild the coil regularly, you just need to change the wick. You do need to find a juice that you like as 4.5mls of the same juice can get a bit much sometimes!

Drill bit? There have been a couple of times I have wanted to take a sledge hammer to my tank. LOL! I hope you find a tank that works for you. We've been using a Kanger MT3S, Protank 2 and recently tried the iClear 16 that comes with the iTaste VV/VW. They have all leaked now and then but I tend to mess with the coils too much instead of just replacing them like a good little newbie should.:)

On the Kayfun bandwagon, it's really EXTREMELY simple to build a coil. I mean, you shouldn't be driving a car or even checking email if you can't get the hang of wrapping a wire around a piece of cotton and attaching it to two screw posts.

Sure, there's finer points to it. And yes, you need an ohm checker (or a VV/VW device that reads resistance like many do), but you can take a fork and wrap the coil around one of the prongs if you have to. I'm sure you have some cotton balls laying around (hopefully organic). Order a 100 foot roll of 28 gauge kanthal wire for $8 and you're set for an extremely long time.
