I got my lovely girlfriend one of these to introduce her into the world of rba's, hoping for a massive upgrade from her Ego Twist and iClear 30's.

I loved my RSST before I started using rda's, and honestly still do. I expected similar quality and/or vape from the above mod.

I guess I didn't take into account that the only compatible battery is an 18350, which, alone, places it at an enormous deficit.

Has anyone attempted to mod one of these to make it better? As it is right now, I've drilled out the air hole in the cap as well as in the well to 1/8", and it is built as an auto bottom-fed rda. It has a micro dual coil set-up which I can only assume is running at about 0.6ohm, though there's no way to actually check, as the atty does not detach from the mod.

Any advice would be helpful. Just a note, the hits are always varying. It seems there is a sweet spot with a twist of the bottom fire button, but that is easily lost with slight handling.

I ordered 3 of these and only one came with a different style button. It has a ring that you can screw in/out to lock out the button. Seems to work a little better than the rest. My wife's came with the standard 4 prong base, while mine has to fatter prongs. She hasn't said anything negative about the switch, but she only uses hers 3 or 4 times a day. Also, if you go to fasttech's site, look for the chi you extension ring. If you use one, you can run 18500 batteries. I THINK 2 extensions will let you use 18650s but don't quote me on it...2 500s lasts more than long enough for me.

BTW, they do technically come apart...but not all as one piece. The floor or base of the atty stays with the tube, but you can unscrew everything else and get the glass out to clean it and whatnot.

I did not drill out my hole as of yet, I've been playing with this thing for about 2 weeks now and like where it's at with the hole as is. I also did the "sharpie mod" to mine...which obviously doesn't make it any better performing but it still looks different from everyone else's mods nonetheless. ;-)

I am currently running a 4 wire braided setup with 32 gauge kanthal, it's somewhere around 1.6-1.7 ohms going from the bottom of the pin to the negative side. It's a beast to say the least...just put this setup together about 20 minutes ago, snapped a pic while trying to work out the hotspots...

I would suggest you check the coils with a multimeter=SAFETY
