The original Provari beauty ring is exactly the same: it just sits on top of the taper. Works just fine, though.

As for the nautilus, there are a few possible answers. I did have to fiddle a lot at first due to dry hits and finally settled to avoid the bigger air hole completely. I still had some problems and read that there has been a bad batch of atomizers at some point a few months back. I decided to stick it through as my nautilus is just a secondary tank I use to vape a different flavor when I'm home and now it seems to work just fine. Could be because the atomizer is gunked up just to the right point or because I've rinsed all the air holes in a desperate attempt after having a few bad leaks. I am still running it on its original atomizer and had to dilute my juices to bring down nic content because it was hitting too hard. I can't tell you which of these fixed my problem, but I can swear my problems stopped after I rinsed it through.

Thanks Torch. I've had 0 problems with mine using nothing but the biggest airflow option (to avoid dry socket on this extracted tooth) since putting in one of the new BVCs. I mean yeah, it's $20 for 5 directly from Aspire in China, along with $8 cheapest shipping for me, but this BVC is incredible so far.

With the BDCs I was in the same boat. Even after toying with it to get rid of the dry/burn taste, I still couldn't really use either of the two bigger airflow options. It really has blown me away at the quality difference.

Though, as I believe PBusardo and (I really want to say it was Riptrippers, but it MIGHT have been Grim) both pointed out, the BVC is literally just kind of a tiny cartomizer. Very subtle difference but still practically a miniature little carto, which means using them in your Nautilus is about like turning it into an easy to fill carto tank. But first, hey... we've all used carto tanks and they've worked well for years so maybe Aspire is onto something. And second, for what's now basically a carto tank, my Nautilus is giving off flavor quality that I NEVER got in a carto tank...lol

I definitely believe the atomizer is to blame. Doesn't matter for both of us at this point as I cracked today and got a Nautilus mini plus a pack of BVC atomizers... Gotta say the mini is blowing more vape than my russian 91% right now! Time to re-wick I guess...

I wonder if I'll be able to go through that Nautilus pack of regular atty's before running both with the BVC's...

Honestly, I had three BDCs left, and basically chunked them into the "Useless S**t" bin.... I'll be sticking to the BVCs from now on with my Nautilus. I won't be investing in a Mini, simply because the biggest reason I decided to try the Nautilus AFTER having great results with the Kanger Aerotank Mega, was the Nautilus having such a high fill capacity.

But I have recommended the Mini to a couple of siblings who recently started vaping. They use smaller devices with internal rechargeable batteries, rather than interchangeables, so the Mini I believe would be more aesthetically pleasing on their devices.

The Nautilus has a much wider chimney, so it must be producing much more vape. for this reason, combined with the fact that it now actually works with my secondary juice, I'll stick with it as is or at least try to finish my atomizers. I just know the second I put a BVC in there, there won't be any turning back. As a matter of fact, I am resisting right now, but at least I have the mini with a BVC to turn to meanwhile.

It's great to have 1 or 2 large capacity tanks, but once you start having 4-5+ juices to rotate with, it gets less expensive to put the less used juices in smaller and more mainstream tanks, both for tank price and juice consumption. That is until you crack and want to taste them fully... thank god I'm still on the discovering new juices side!
