Just curious if any of the forum members are going to put in an order with any Chinese suppliers on the evening of 4 May? Perhaps our friends have a plan on how to ship to the U.S. without alerting any overachieving customs officials.

I am going to place a small order after breaking news tuesday and see what happens. I am going to just order parts. Anyone ordering a kit is asking for it. No box, no in your face information.
I have a parts order (25 Attys) that just entered Customs today. I'm sweating bullets right now. I'll let ya know how it goes.
EDIT - My pkg. entered Customs on 5/2 and was released from Customs on 5/3. It's on the way.

I have a large order that has not moved from "Dispatch" since the 29th. Talk about a SLOW boat from China! lol
That's not unusual. I received 2 orders 1 1/2 months ago, and my tracking still says "in transit".
Personal orders shipped with EMS would still be fine. Thailand, Australia and Singapore are still getting EMS ecigs orders with no issues.
Not a bad idea Jim, if parts can come through we still have folks here in the US that can make cardboard boxes, right?

My small order of 2 kits, 50 blank carts, and 10 atomizers arrived in customs yesterday and was released today. Don't know if that helps anyone at all.
i have a 1000$ order on the way from EMS. The supplier told me that EMS was the only safe way to ship anymore. It was expensive though, and its not saving me any stress i am still very worried about losing my order. They wont mail it out till the 4th when they return from their labor holiday. I am wondering if i should cancel, but i probably wont.
Webby have them send the empty boxes by cheap mail if you really want them. The boxes are boxes. i beleive in ordering just parts. If they are not together then they are not e-cigs.

1K is not pocket change. With the FDA announcement coming on the 5th, I would be a little on edge right now if were me.
