It all depends on:
-how much you smoked each day.
-if you want a cig sized PV or slightly larger- cig sized has terrible battery life.
I would recommend either a VV (variable voltage) Spinner or Twist.
Compliments of Chrissie here's a list of reputable UK Vendors + discount codes. Note at the top there's a link to B&Ms.

If you're happy with a set voltage (3.7 V) PV here's a good kit:
Vape Escape Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit [VE151] - £34.95 : Vape Escape
Riva the same as Kgo and I own it

thanks all, im about 20 a day smoker so probley need a decent one

Once you've got a kit then you can just shop for "body only" mods. I got a Tesla a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow i'm ordering a stainless steel Vamo V4. Mech mods are cheap too. They only cost about £20 body only. Kits are ok but you'd usually get crappy chargers and batteries. I just buy everything seperately it costs more but you get good quality stuff. I like aw imr batteries for example and an xtar charger. I get these because they are the best.

But you'll need a Protank too or something decent like that. They're the most popular at the moment. Maybe get a few spare coils for it as well. You'll need them !.

You can also check out Todd Ecigreviews on YouTube also, or his website. He does deal in a lot of more advanced gear, but I'm sure he's covered some newbie type gear in the UK also. Here is a list of websites you can check out also, someone posted it for me once before and I saved the link.

Hope this helps!

I think the link was the same one that Vapoor eyes er posted above... probably got it from him!

cheers guys more confused now but informed confused!!! looks like will have to look at buying separate as well now,as new to this will have to look at how all the bits come together, but 48 now and smoked since 8 so anything thanks works +++

Evan, Borescoped and pufZeppelin have good suggestions. Realize when buying a PV 100 mah= approx 1 hour of vaping. Most begin with a set voltage PV and eventually move up to a VV/ variable voltage PV...maybe just save yourself some $$ and buy a Spinner or Twist. I own both and prefer the Spinner cuz the voltage markings are more visible and has a wider knurled dial that is easy to turn.

I also own the Vamo and it's a fantastic PV for the price but quite large for out and about. I use the Vamo at home and the Spinner when out.
Basically when you buy a PV these are the parts:
Battery (Mods such as the Vamo use separate batteries and the Vamo is a tube into which we put the battery) whereas eGo. Spinners and Twists are PV in which the battery is the PV- once the battery dies out after 250-300 recharges it must be replaced.
Juice delivery system (holds and vaporizes the juice). Clearomizers are available in which we can inexpensively and easily change the heating coil and wick.
Of course the above PVs need chargers also.
