Got me the iTasteVV 'express' kit for under 30 quid, the idea being use it until the battery gets weak (or I get bored), then gut it for the relatively 'cheap' electronic parts to build a nice VV box mod with display etc.
Wondering if anyone here's opened one up yet, how easy it was to do so without wrecking the display and circuit, and how they did it?
The unit is working fine for now on CHIDs with 1.5 to 2 Ohm coils, but I'm getting kind of itchy to build a dual/parallel battery box mod for extra power life (and to also add a better heatsink to the power components as they tend to get a bit hot in the iTaste tube when hammered a bit hard).
TIA and be well folks.
