Anyone running into problems with customs?

Talked to a manufacturer today and they said that most of the stuff from Shenzhen is getting seized. Any truth to this?

Well my supplier didn't seem worried at all with sending out my liquid, going to see if it actually makes it through. It's presently in transit to the US so I should know more soon. Pray for it

Woah...been trying to get a hold of a certain supplier all day. Finally got in touch with a receptionist and she sounded extremely stressed out. Probed her a little and found out that big shipment has just been seized at customs and they're scrambling. I placed a small case order of juices through another company in china a few weeks back to test the waters...we'll see what happens.

Im curious to know who the supplier is as well.

It might be time we get together as suppliers and start working towards a solution.. I have been trying to get an answer out of the FDA for months on this and I havent really gotten any where...

I spoke to a mfr. in china about ordering e-liquid, however, I am semi skeptical about doing it because of the possibility of it being seized. Can anyone give advice?

That link is old, and i think that was a quote from a news article on Electronic Cigarettes. A Poorly written one in my opinion, regardless...I received my juice order yesterday, took 3 days to get here. Sometimes stuff gets randomly searched, sometimes it doesn't.

I ordered from bestecig.com China middle of January, they came back from New Year Vacation Febuary 2 & shipped my order, it arrived yesterday Feb 10 with no problems.
Package was marked as " Penstyle Atomizer ". It was a BE-112 ( same as an 801 penstyle I think ), several pre-juiced carts, spare atomizers & batterys, & 2 bottles of juice.

I read somewhere that if ya told the shipper to mark your package as " Electronic Components " you shouldn't have any troubles either.

Must be nice getting a whole month off work for the New Year !

I just ordered some juice from Beci too on 2/4/09 and received my product on 2/11/09...maybe its not as bad as we thought. They did label my package as "vitamins" though.

I do not understand why you guys are getting your shipments mislabeled,
this stuff is not illegal in your country.

think of the fines if your mislabeled packages are opened and inspected.
Deliberately trying to dupe customs, not a good idea.

Because "well labeled" packages has been seized, e-cigarettes are considerated a new drug, search the forum and you will see what FDA say about them.

Indee if they are labeled as a vaporizer maybe could pass customs because technicaly they are vaporizers and vaporizers are not ilegal and are listed, I don't know but e-cigarettes are not listed and are considerated a new drug.

NOT LISTED and UNAPPROVED in that same thread Smooth got a letter from the FDA saying they are "new drugs" so in the US e-cigarettes per se are ilegal.
