I'm betting the chimney can be cut down even further to allow for less headroom. Westamyx, would you mind snapping a pic with the top removed and laying to the side, so that the bottom of the chimney lies adjacent to where it would normally sit flush on the bottom, so that we can see how much headroom there is, please? TIA!

Will do right now. Photobucket has been down for maintenance, on and off today, so it may be a bit before I can post pic.

Killer 705. Only a tiny bit of headroom. Ceramic cup is same size as CE2.

Keep in mind we have to allow enough room for double o-ringed DTs to fit fully in. Looks like there is plenty of room if someone chose to trim a little off the top of chimney.

I like the height of chimney. But I won't totally rule out trying it............ maybe. I like enough room to keep any coil spitting from hitting mouth. Remember these are pretty tiny. Paired with a shorty DT they are still tiny. Paired with a not too large DT they are still tiny. I've been using a SS DT, standard length, and DT isn't getting too warm, but I do take multiple small drags. Lots of people do long drags and that may heat up the atty and metal DT a lot more.
