It looks like the Aero uses the same heads as the Protank 3. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, it does, but the heads are different than what the Protank 3 started with. The new heads combine the best of the Protank 2 and Protank 3 heads. I've only been using the aero for about an hour but so far I think Kanger might have a real winner. My opinion is subject to change when I try more heads though....

Am I the only one that actually tried using standard kanger heads in my aero tank? I Put in a rebuilt single coil in my aerotank and it works just fine. Im surprised that no one else has mentioned this. so now I have an adjustable airflow control and I can use all my coils from my single coil kanger heads. I also was able to use these coils in my protank 3. I didnt like the dual coil that comes with the aerotank so I did a micro coil with 30g with some cotton and now Im happy with my Aerotank. I saw all the videos on youtube and surprised that no one mentioned this, and I believe there was a few youtube videos that stated that you can not use your old kanger heads :(

Cany wait to get mine. I just got a PT2 a week ago. I wasn't impressed with the factory head. I got a lot of dry hits. But after a quick recoil and cotton I fell in love with it, except for the draw, to tight for my liking. The Aero should solve that.

Now my only thought. Why does it seem I'm going backwards. I've tried all sorts of RBAs but I'm going back to clearos where I started, cause I'm also enjoying the Evods. Go figure.

Ream out one of the three holes in your PT2 base you'll get air.

The one from VapeDojo is $19.99 with 2$ shipping. That is so tempting.

I want to buy this clearo so badly. Only problem is I've already spend 42$ on a Vamo V5 with battery and charger, 30$ on juice, and 10$ on a Protank 3 from a friend who used it once and didn't like it. So I'm a little over budget this month already, and it's January 8th lol.

Ugh haha I wish I had more of a budget. Hopefully they'll still have this price in a few weeks.

I bought mine from Vape Dojo. I curse them for being local because I end up spending way too much money there....

I just wanted to update my thoughts on this thing. I really wish it had an adjustable juice flow. In fact, I would easily take an adjustable juice flow over adjustable air flow. With the stock silicon gasket seal that goes over the center tube, my juice does not flow well at all. When I posted my first thoughts, I had flipped the gasket upside down and the vape was fantastic. Unfortunately, the head will flood if left for an extended period of time like that (overnight, etc.). I have compromised by using the gaskets from the Protank II heads. Not as good as the upside down gaskets, but no flooding when left alone for a long time either. Adjustable juice flow would make this thing perfect.

Thanks JB, I have a lot of PT2 single coils already rebuilt with the same wire/wick setup as you. Glad to hear that they will work in the Aerotank because these heads kicks Kanger dual coil's ...!

Inadequate juice flow (wicking) is an issue with kanger heads. The stock silica IMO just doesn't kee up. I solved that by using cotton as a wick material. If you use the right amount it works great. I don't know if changing out the wick to cotton on Aerotank heads is practical but if the PT 2 heads (easily wicked with cotton) can be used on the Aerotank as others have suggested, then that may be a great and money saving solution.

To me, the entire point of these tanks is ease of use. Something simple I can grab and go. I have an Ithaka clone for rebuilding when I am in the mood. I just don't feel like rebuilding all the time. Besides, it's not bad when I mess with the silicon cap. I actually just got some cotton for my rebuildable I will be playing with soon.
