even in the face of an all out ban on liquid nicotine, you can make your own juice from snus and PG/VG and optional food flavorings which aren't going anywhere, and they can't ban batteries.
There might be a small chance that for one reason or another the Chinese companies may stop making atomizers, or the USA might figure out a way to stop their import. The atomizers are the only PV component the average person can't reasonable make themselves at home, I'm stocking up on atomizers, and juice somewhat.
even if they were to somehow make it impossible to obtain atomizers, I have faith in American ingenuity, someone will find out a way to make one from off the shelf parts or to modify an existing device (see the mod forum where they are turning a kids fog machine toy into an e-....)

I am going to stock up on atties and juice. I am going to try some juice creation soon. I can't imagine having to but PVs and juice off the black market. That would suck! I was just in LA and they have pot clinics where you pay for an exam and get a free gram to smoke right there. I guess PVs are down the list.

juice is the component you want to stock up on.. 1000-2000 ml would be a great start.

Wow. Just wow. You must vape a LOT to want to stock up to that level. I consider myself a decently heavy vaper, but that much would last me years.

I tend to buy a lot, but that's mostly because I want to try a little bit of everything. As a nice side effect, that leaves me with quite a bit of stock. I'm a KR8 user, and I think at the current time I have somewhere in the range of 100 brand new cartos, another 30-40 in refill rotation, and about 250-300ml of juice, I *could* stop buying today and be set for at least 6 months... but why stop? :)

Several members have already made excellent posts here and I agree 100%.

I don't really stock up on things although I do have a few more attys than your average vaper, but I'm not the least bit worried. The government will do whatever they are going to do no matter how good or bad it is for us and there will not be anything we can do that will change their minds once they've signed legislation into law. But either way, this is going to take time and I honestly don't see anything restrictive happening to our hobby for a couple of years minimum. By then, homemade atomizers (which is the only really difficult part) will be easily made, as we already read the progress being made here in posts at ECF.

All I know and care about is that my vaping instead of smoking has saved my life. I don't care what anyone says or does, I will continue to pursue my hobby all I want. I am already very proficient at making my own battery supplies and e-juices. I will find a way to either rebuild my attys as they die or make my own. I will die vaping if I so desire to.

So, a few more attys, some battery connectors and I should be set pretty much for life. I will support and defend our right to vape openly and legally, but if push comes to shove, I will manage quite well thank you.

Long live vaping!

However I think it will be a while before Big Brother makes any drastic changes to the E-Cig industry.

They are in a bit of a gray zone. Not quite a tobacco product, but not quite a Nicotine Replacement like the gums or patches either.

Yeah, they're going to have to do some thinking on a way to ban it. And 'thinking' is not something they're used to doing, so it will be a while. :D

They should concentrate on the hard drugs that they can't control useage of and leave us vaporers alone!

Like their ban on drugs stopped the users and sellers. right....

I have reserves on almost everything PV I need. They way I think about it is at the very least prices will probably increase, especially if demand increases. So if you can store liquid properly and can afford extra batts and attys and whatever hardware, and can afford it, it can't hurt if you intend to vape a while. Its like having a food pantry. You take advantage of sales on things you know you will use.

It wont be banned..it will be taxed and regulated...just like everything else they find they can suck money out of. Especially since their tax money from smokers is dwindling, they will need to find another source so they can pay for their out of control spending. No more will you be able to get a 1000ml's of 100mg/ml juice...you will need to get your rx and go get your weekly allowance of 5mg/ml juice. Why are they legalizing pot...TAXES!

Got my 2000ml+ juice stash because it wont be long now IMO. Everything else I can make myself.
