Personally, I don't like the V3's. Not only because of what they look like, but also since you can't use it in short mode. So... anyone think it wise to stock up on V2's... maybe a spare? Or... just let it go the way of the dodo?

Not being able to configure to short mode is a real negative for me. It's just a personal thing... because I think short is cool! I may decide in a little while to purchase a spare before it's too late.
I love the short mode too. I've had mine about 2 weeks and stopped trying to use it long mode after the first few days. No V3 for me.
I normally use long mode only when I'm home. When I go out, the Vamo is in short mode... that's why I love it... and refuse to give it up! 
I'm currently waiting on a smok "the Natural", which also has short mode, so who knows, once I start on mechanical's, I might forgo the Vamo while being out.

Nice, report back with your opinion on The Natural when you get a chance to use it, I've been considering picking one up, for the price I can't find a reason not to. I mean, i've heard it being called "the gg killer" I'm skeptical, so I would like to hear your opinion!
I have 3 ss vamo's...thats enough for me...I want no part of the v3... its ugly.
I'll be sure to start a thread here on the Vamo forum with photos. Do you own a GG? I never thought to compare the Natural to the GG. They're different classes as far as I'm concerned. But the masses (people who can't or won't pay high dollar) will probably get a Natural over a GG.
If you're looking for a vendor, check out VaporTekUSA. Although I only have the Natural coming from them, the Smok Natural RSST Kit looks awesome! Very tempting, but I already own two AGA-T+'s.... still, that might not deter me!
Also check out Todd's Natural review. I like this guy, he's more mellow than Phil! Not to say I don't like Phil... I do!

Well, I actually did go out and buy a spare last night from MVS. I'll probably just store it as a backup until I need it.
