I was wondering if anyone used ceramic coils in RDAs. YouTube had very limited information on ceramic coil builds on RDAs. I feel they will be lot easier to build and provide better flavor. I just need to figure out wicking methods.
I never used ceramic coils on an RDA but did try them in tge little Tank that came in the Mini Volt kit.

Lived the flavor id tge ceramic coils but hated tge Tank leaking and too hot drip tip.

Got a new Triton 2 and a box of the Coilart CTBVC's in the mailbox today from Vaporider.net. I've always used Aspire tanks and coils in the past.

As some other reports I've read on ceramics state; the flavor is a little dry/flat. Also, the coils read 0.82 ohms resistance, and the first one out of the package wouldn't thread. The coil does work without any spitting ir gurgling!

Coilart recommends firing above 35w. I am using an eLeaf iStick Pico with an Lg He4 cell.

I started at 60w and could see the coil glowing from the bottom air intake when first firing it and the base of the tank got pretty hot... which possibly resulted in the dry/flat vape.

I immediately lowered my watts to 35 & as I type, have been bumping up 2-5w at a time to find a happy place. I've gone back up to 60w and got heat at the base again as well as hot vape (like mine cool).

I'm hovering around 37-40w, @ 5.5-5.7v which seems to be right for my comfort zone, getting good cloud formation, still a bit flat/dry, and flavor is less intense than I'm used to when using Aspire coils.

I e-mailed Coilart about the bad-thread coil, higher resistance reading, and my experience with the heat and dry/flat vape...etc,
