Ummm ya early on. Always had a burnt taste to it. Tried different cartos and contacted them, but this was over a year ago so they may have sorted it out. It was actually this set up that got me looking at tanks and stuff, ordered the Inferno and that did the trick for over 6 months...

Blu>V2 (good for me but not hubby)>Vea (burnt taste)>Inferno (good for me but not hubby)>Vamo/Vivi (still sorting out juices and tanks, but I think this may be the winner for us).

I bought the whole Vea starter kit, and the carts from the Blu fit it! The Vea carts are a lot bigger and easier to fill. Bud Man, you're right, I got some of the Red Oak "Silverthorn" and it tastes awesome!

Seahawkin: Doesn't taste burnt so far, but I'll keep an eye on it. Just my first cart with Vea.

I just can't get over how much vapor production I'm getting with the Vea over the Blu. I was about to get discouraged if it wasn't any better.

The Vea was the second system I tried, after trying the Blu's and deciding they were not for me. They Vea is a much better system than the Blu kits, but I ended up switching pretty quickly (after 5 or 6 weeks) to a larger ego style battery and switched to clearomizers instead of Carto's. Didn't like not being able to see how much juice I had left, and JC kept running out of blank cartos. Seemed every time I needed to place an order they were out of them. Gave my Vea kit to my mom, and she loves it. It is a good system, and good quality, just wasn't for me.

Super glad to hear it, neat looking little set up. You would notice the taste in an hour. They even sent me a second set of cartos, so I dig the company. Was when it first came out soon...

You really got me thinking Seahawkin - about tanks I can monitor and stuff. I'd better give the buying a rest for a little while anyway. LOL

Like to say I did it all for me and my interest, but the truth is I was OK with the V2's, hubby wasn't. That is sorta what drove me to do all the research, but ya the cartos in the tank got me really thinking. I will admit though that now I got the Vamo and Vivi it is pretty divine.

I've had my Vea since last November and it does the trick for me. My father was impressed with it so much that he got himself one too. It's doesn't have any bells and whistles but for me it's just fine.
If JC is ever out of cartos and you need more you can use any low resistance 1.7-2.2 ohm 510 cartos on it. That's what they told me during the holidays when they were out of stock. So far since the first of the year they've been stocked on cartos so I haven't had to get any others thankfully.
Glad you found something that works for ya. :toast:

Thanks for the tip on the cartos. So far they've had plenty of blanks, but limit orders to 5 boxes per order. I tried the pre-filled cartos and they seemed pretty weak compared to ones you fill yourself. Plus they only come in 1.8% nicotine. I get tons of vapor from blanks I fill myself, but am finding the amt. of vapor largely depends on which juice I get from them. Vanda (vanilla) is fantastic! And yummy.
