If you have yet to purchase a new battery, I recommend KGO V.V. 650mAh

It is a 1200 mah, variable volt 3-6 volt and a passthrough, so you can just plug it in and keep vaping when the battery dies. Its very inexpensive compared to other variables. I just made my order a few days ago, cant wait to get it.

Match it with a Vision 2.0 CE5 clearomizer, about 2.4 ohms. It fills up to 1.5ml. Lasts all day for me. Great vapor producer.

After researching for a month, watching youtube and coming here to this forum, then talking to my son who has quit smoking after 30 years and now has quit vaping also, I ended up buying 2 eGo Twists, 2 Mini ViVi Novas along with the chargers from myvaporstore.com. On my son's recommendation I went to vermillionriverejuice.com and ordered K-Max and Kentucky Applewood e juice - both of which are my favorite e juice. All the Kentucky Blends I've tried are excellent! I ordered 2 Kanger T3s because I wanted to see if I liked the bottom coil better, but honestly I think I like the Mini ViVi Novas over the Kangers. The eGo Twists last me about a day and a half on the battery. I love my set up and don't feel the need to try and find better. Best of all after being a pack and a half a day smoker for 50 years I am now analog free! Woot Woot!

Congratulations! :toast:

You have a great set-up! I would have stayed at pretty much the place you're at, except that the juice I like best is a "Tank Cracker" and melted my vivi. :( But the upside is that it forced my to learn about carto tanks, which is what I use most of the time now.

The Ocelot Thanks a bunch!

I went ahead and ordered the kit and one of each of those tanks. Now i've got a few more questions for you as you've been an awesome help so far!

1) Reliable, 1000 MaH (AT LEAST) Variable Voltage battery to use with the vivi mini nova tank, Variable voltage or manual standard voltage (I'd like a 1000 MaH as a backup)
2) Where can i buy the heads for the vivi mini nova tank as i hear they last for about a month and then need to be changed. rather than buying a new tank (i wouldn't mind though because 10 bucks isn't bad!)
3) Where else is a good/reliable website to shop for e juice? i ordered a bunch of sample bottles from johnson creek, i'd like to keep trying until i find my fit.

Thanks a bunch!

EDIT:
I've taken a look at this:
http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/...1228-ego-twist-1000-mah-battery-in-steel.html

as mentioned above. I like them, but are they reliable? i see they're VV also

EDIT2:

HOW ARE THOSE?! They look beautiful

Hi - I'm a late riser

You don't need a VV device to use with a Vivi Nova (I didn't when I first started), just don't buy replacement heads over 2.0Ω for a standard eGo.

The best price I have found for an authentic Joyetech Twist is here: Joyetech Ego-C Twist 1000mah Battery [1000 twist] - $22.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

Some people prefer the Vision Spinner to the Twist. They operate the same way. Authentic Spinners come in more mAh options than authentic Twists and the dial is easier to see, but some people say Twists last longer. I only have Twists, so I have no opinion on this, outside of recommending you get the name brand.

The Vivi kit comes with 3 heads, so you can try them and see which one(s) you like the best. Some resistances are hard to find right now, so you will need to Google around. Personally, I have not had problems with clones, but other people have. I can't recommend one way other the other.

Finding juice is very difficult, especially in the beginning when your taste buds are still recovering from smoking. I don't vape tobacco flavors, so I'm no help with that. At this point, sample packs are a good plan, even venturing beyond tobacco. You will not find a juice that tastes like a cigarette, so branching out is something to consider. If you look around the liquid discussion threads, you'll see lots of info about different vendors, and there is at least one devoted to sample packs (but you need to use the search box because it many not be in that sub-forum).

Regarding the eVic - I agree, it's cool looking, but I've never tried one. There are whole threads dedicated to it, where you can get more appropriate answers.

The new members forum moves so fast that threads get buried very quickly. If you want to get my attention, "like" something and it will show up in my notifications or send me a PM.
