My Chalice v2 is the only one I use with my Grand, Mini 2.1 and Woodvill... It NEVER leaks, is by far the best atomizer I ever vaped.
Of course is not cheap and hard to find, but with a PV "Ferrari" (I am italian:) ) Reo one have to use the best atomizer one can find!
The rm2 should be also a good one ... but for now I don't need one.

I have always loved the chalices but the old thumb screws made rebuilding them a pita for me cause they tear up my fingertips. So I sold all but one. It also didn't make sense using an atty that cost more than the mod.

I have other RBAs that vape just as good and are all SS.

But now that he has new screws (and includes 2 additional screws with each chalice) I'm getting another chalice so I have one for each high end / rare mod I have.

I think special mods deserve special RBAs. For instance, my woodvil - nothing but a chalice is good enough for it :)

Swami - did you not see that Saturday a new run of chalices go on sale :)

I've been using the brass RM2's on my new Woodys and the performance is outstanding!! I like everything about the RM2. The ease of build, ceramic base, same color as catch cup, size and it was modded by Rob himself (my new hero).

My question is What makes the Chalice three times the price of the RM2?? Is it really that much better or is it just one of those it's expensive I gotta have it deals?

A chalice is thick SS and implant grade titanium. Every piece of it is fabbed by mark bugs in Romania. Have you ever seen any of his product?

It is highly sought after by the discerning vaper.

An RM2 can be built to vape just as good. Sometimes better. A chalice in the hands of a less experienced rebuilder may not produce fantastic results.

Many of the people I have steered towards chalices ultimately got them and subsequently sold em.

They, like a fine sports car, are not for everyone. They are costly but you can sell them for atleast what you pay for them if you ain't diggin them.

I don't have, nor have I ever had a pedigree sports car, but I have had and will continue to have a couple of chalices in my stable to compliment my pedigree / rare mods :)

But no, if it just about money, not any level of exclusivity or exceptional engineering, quality and attention to detail, I say get 4 RM2s and enjoy the killer vape they throw :)

yea, it's kinda like a rolex and a timex both tell time well enough, if all you're looking for is a watch to tell time you're probably not going to be looking at rolex's. it's not so much about it vaping better, hell I hope they vape as good, haven't even tried one yet but I still know I want at least one, it's more about mark bugs insane precision machining and attention to detail, most if not all of his stuff is almost functioning art, investment quality if you will  that and I get a boner for almost anything titanium. not just titanium, but high grade implant grade titanium. ok I'll stop now but I'll say mark bugs stuff is one of the most expensive pv hardware in the world but it is also among the best hardware in the world. that's why it's expensive but worth every penny to me, but man it's a lot of friggin pennies though
