Mark Bug's Chalice now available.

3 times 2mm EKOWOOL Russian High Silica Wick (from svoemesto) and Russian NiChrome 0,16mm (3 times around the wick) ... and it is glorious. I have it on a VVW set to 5.3 volts, the coil has 2.5 ohms.

The coil is fixed diagonally (like in a kayfun) and has no free areas.

It is impossible to flood the atomizer, the air hole is almost at the correct position and the draw is perfect.

I love this thing. Too bad I don't have camera skills or I'd post a picture.

Here's what I did....34 Nichrome....Double 3mm Ody Wick....Left the tails a little long opposite the air hole. Working great.

Quick question for those who have gotten their Chalice, how long did it take to arrive once it shipped (specifically to the US)? I ask because based on the tracking number, it appears to have shipped last Thursday, but there have been no updates since Friday. I may be missing something in trying to translate the site, but I can't wait to get this in, and so am probably a bit impatient.

Not sure but I believe mine was delivered between 10 days to two weeks.

Yes, about 14 days.....and mine said that it was in New York (customs) nearly the entire time...until the day it showed up at my local post office. The tracking was lacking.....

3 or 4 wraps

Once you figure out the number of coils it takes to get the coil you want, just make every coil with that size of wire has the name number of wraps.

I use 33ga Kanthal, and 5 wraps gives me a 2.5 ohm coil every single time.

I just got a shortie 510 to 510 adapter. I tok my mini with the Chalice to work last night. It was great. When I got home, I used the adapter on my Grand. I am getting a much better vape when I use the adapter than without it. It is more airy, but I am getting alot more vapor and no burnt taste. I can also hear the gurgle of the squonk.

Interesting! Where did you get your adapter? I may have to get one in case I want to try it on my Mini. But I am finally getting used to the silent squonk ;-)

You can get them about anywhere, the 510-510 adapter has become very popular since the drip shield came out. Just make sure you get an open one, some are sealed and won't work.

Here is what a VV Grand looks like with a Chalice on top

Its a sweet vape. I think I waited until that last minute and scored the last Chalice up for sale anywhere.
It wound up costing me 170 bucks from cloud9 and 30 minutes later I looked and they were out of stock.
Just got it this morning and its going well.

It will be much better when I get some wick supplies and start mastering the art
