Anyone tried the eGo Mini?

Hey fellow eGo mini users....just wanted to let you know how I am making out with the Smoktech shorty cartos from GotVapes. SMOKtech Shorty 22mm Carto : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

These things are AWESOME! They look so cute on the mini first off, especially since they are colored. They are clear enough so you can see how much juice is left, and you don't really get that filler taste like you do in bigger cartos. I'm really impressed with these little guys so far. Will definitely be ordering more.

I am about 4 days in using these mini EGO batts and all I can say is They're great. The two I ordered from health cabin get me through the whole day of work and the size is perfect. I'm using mine with Kanger horizontal coil cartomizers in LR.

Just got mine in today from ccv. 350mah, stainless, box does not list manufacturer. Has 5 click on/off and button only has one color. I love it. Coming from 808d's, I wanted to try out some of the cool 510/ego accessories, but still be able to carry in a pocket. I've been using the super shortys on an sd. I ordered some "standard" size ressurectors since the shorties go dry so fast. For reference, these 'ressurectors' (I got clear) are made by smok and exactly like the shorty except it holds about three times the juice. The only problem I have is that they are longer than what I'm used to and make the ego look like a lightsaber. I think I'll order an ego cone and see how that looks. I like the aesthetics of an sd, clear shorty, and chrome drip tip. With so many small options, I don't think I'll ever buy a full sized ego.

I have order the mini from gotvapes and I also ordered one from The Vaper girls. Let me say, I do NOT like the clearo that came with the one from the vaper girls. BAD TASTE! Anyways, I LOVE THESE little batteries. The two are definitiely a few millimeters different in size like was previously state, but they are prettty much the same. They both give me a good 3-4 hrs of heavy vaping. LOVE the looks of them using a cone. Yesterday received my mini vivi nova. Changed the atomizer to a 1.8 and changed the drip top to one of the little shorty drip tips and I am IN LOVE!!!!! Now maybe I can STOP spending Money..........(Probably NOT)! lol

Let me add....The ONLY thing I am missing (Coming from using the standard Joytech batteries) is that they did not automatically cut you off during an inhale. I WISH there was NOT a timeout or shutoff on them. Im a newbie so I hope my terminology is right....

You are right. These are the XL (50mm 1.8ml). CCV calls these the 'resurrector' and the standard size is 'resurrector jr.'

Really? I love the "C8" clearo that comes with the Apoloe minis! It's bottom coil though, and I'm a big fan of the bottom coil.

I have a blue mini from thevaporgirl.com & I got a Smok mini from...uh, I don't remember *facepalm* I think it might have been madvapes.com

The one from TVG is definitely smaller, and I do wonder if they aren't, in fact, the 250mAh ones that someone else suggested they might be. Whatever they are, they're ... CUTE as HECK, and all my girls in my women's group want one now! *grin*

I'm also using super shorty cartos on my black Smok mini & it surprisingly hits like a freight train. I actually felt the hit from my 18mg popcorn juice - which hasn't happened in a loooooong time!

I'd very much like to also get a 450mAh mini, does anyone know where to find one???

I like the C8 clearo too that came with the Apoloe mini too...works much better than I expected it to given my experience with some other clearos. Those mini smoketech cartos have been awesome though, I am getting a whole bunch more.

The Vapor Girl is going to start selling the batteries seperately pretty soon...I'll keep checking for that. I want to get a few more colors!!

I just wanted to correct something - I said I felt the hit from 18mg juice in my super shorty/mini eGo combo. Actually, the popcorn juice is 12mg, not 18mg! *sheesh* I'm even more impressed! *lol*

The one I bought when I stared this thread was from NettMix and it is a 350mah which I have been told runs at 3.4v regulated.

Apoloe makes one that is rated at 350mah, but they sell it in a kit only. Some people have posted that it doesn't have 5 click off and no one has commented on the volts, so I have no idea.

Madvapes sells one that is even smaller, but still rated at 350mah and Kemosabe responded in this thread that it comes off the charger at 4.2v and dwindles down to 3.2v, so it must be unregulated.

Healthcabin has ones that are rated at 400mah and runs at 3.7v (maybe unregulated then?)

Anyway, I'm still using the ones I got from Nettix, but I'd really like to find the unregulated ones. The extra kick of running at 4.2v does make a difference. My other daily use batteries are the 650mah eGo upgrades. I really like how these run in an unregulated mode, coming off the charger at 4.2v and dropping as the charge drops.

My wife is going to kill me, but I just ordered a pair of the 400mah from Healthcabin and a pair of the 350mah's from Madvapes. I suspect from all I've read that the Madvapes ones will be what I'm after. From the posts I've read, they are the shortest ones and they do come off the charger at 4.2v. I figure I'll sell all the ones I end up not wanting in the classifieds here to recover some of what I spend and keep my wife from getting too mad I post which ones I find to be truly unregulated and provide the best fresh charge kick.

Hello jjcordone, I just charged my mini i got from madvapes/Smok and as soon as i took it off the charger i checked it on a multi meter and it showed 4.00 volts. i haven't used it very much other then testing one thing and then another on it to see how it looks and works. and pretty much everything i have put on it works great and what i like most is a pen cap atomizer but for the past two days i have been puffing (not inhaling) on it to get the nasty taste out. it taste like machine oil and yes i have tasted machine oil so i know, lol. I've cleaned everything i can get too but it looks like the silicon plug on top is glued in .
But yes 4.00 hot off the charger, madvapes, smok, mini 350 mah.

Just a question. Has anyone else had problems with the smok cartos burning through the polyfill? I have 5 shortys and 5 xl's and this has happened on two of each. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Rob! I ordered two of them yesterday from Mapvapes. I'll bet they will arrive soon, Mapvapes ships quickly.
There's nothing wrong with the Nettmix ones, but I do think they perform exactly like a regular eGo does and I'm hoping either the set I bought from Mapvapes or the set I bought from Healthcabin will be closer in performance to an eGo upgrade. The volts they run at do look to be the difference, I think......

On your problem above, did you try soaking it overnight in vodka or in straight PG?
This will sometimes get the primer tastes out of atomizers...

One of the disadvantages of these little cartos is they don't hold much and they need to be topped off often.
Sounds like they're getting too dried out to me...
