Anyone tried the eGo Mini?

Not yet, just wanted to ask around first. It says "apovoe" & C8 on the clearo, and just "mini" on the battery.

Is your battery 5-click shutoff, or 3-click shutoff? I swore I read it's supposed to be 5-click, in which case mine's just wonky. Heh. I *do* love the colorful button feature, that lets you know how charged it is! I think that's wicked important, considering how small it is! I went right from an eGo-T pt batt to a Twist, so I never got the colorful feature before!

My girlfriend wants to buy one on Wednesday, but won't stick with it if it's "fiddly". And the random shutting off thing would definitely be a deal breaker for her, haha! Since it's never been a prob w/any of my eGo batts, I figured it was just a fluke. She used my backup eGo-T pt for over a month & cut back more than half. She can't smoke in the house & does like vaping (with Red Bull juice *shakes head*), so is looking forward to it very much. If she has to fiddle, she'll be mightily disappointed. *lol*

I've definitely been getting a lot of wonky items lately, from many different vendors! Maybe my mailman's throwing my packages around in jealousy? I've been getting a good amount of vapemail lately - and should have 2 more today! heeheehee!

Still wanna know some info on the apovoe clearo the mini comes with. I'd like to clean it, but don't know how. 3 or 4 fills later & it's not going great, but was AWESOME at first! Here's a pic of what I'm talking about regarding the wick going up the side of the tank. I tried shooting some juice at it, but it didn't work to shove it back down. Can I take this apart? How? I've tried looking up info on it, but can't seem to find any! :/

It is Apoloe (with an 'l'). I think you may have the new one that is three clicks. In that case, I think it may be a 250mAh.

Hey Kailey, no I haven't. I have two of those kits, but I have so many other things, that I just never get around to it. After reading your posts earlier, it has inspired me to try them. I'll try tomorrow and get back to you. What are your questions?

I just placed an order with Health Cabin for 2 of the minis and they say they are 400mah @ 3.7. regulated. I will let everyone know how they work out when they get here from overseas. I went with 2 ohm cartomizers.

Yup, that's me! Well, it's me...10 years ago. I haven't changed too much though, a bit thicker now but that's about it. Heh.

I guess my questions are:

* Did I get a dud with my battery often deciding to turn off on its own? (the answer seems to be yes on that)
* How do I clean the clearo (the Apoloe C8 one with the mouthpiece cover)?
* I can see the wick in my C8 clearo - is this normal? It started with seeing just a smidgen of it, now a huge amount sticks to the wall of the clearo (see photo above) - what gives??
* What's the cutoff of these little mini batteries? I keep running into it, which never happens on my other eGo batteries (the original, eGo-T pt & eGo-C Twist).

I have contacted my vendor as well. I have been having irritating luck all around these days (the last week or two) with vaping. Today I got some replacement parts...and they died too. Just in a different way. I lost the "nipple" to my CE3 (why does it only come with one anyway??!), which is irritating because the 3 "510 drip tips" I own don't fit on the CE3s. I can't get throat hit to save my damn life today (could be the weather), which is making me wish like mad for an analog (however, I know if I actually have one, I'll put it out after 1 or 2 drags, so why bother?)...grr. Just one of those days, I guess! And the stupid "no, you want to turn me off, not take a puff!" aspect of my mini batt is in overdrive today, making me wanna scream.

Heh heh heh.

And yet...I still put $200 on a disposable credit card today, in order to go buy MORE vaping supplies. *grin*

edit: it does indeed have the 5-click on/off feature. i must have been hitting it too fast and couldnt get it to turn off at first. this would also explain why my GF thought hers was dead after just a little while. the purse jingling must have turned it off!

I have one from Nettmix and one from MadVapes. I was surprised that the one from MadVapes (made by Smoktech) is even shorter that the one from NetMixx. Battery life on both is pretty decent. It's a great backup device.

I just ordered the exact same one that you have....blue color and all. They are SO CUTE!! This isn't the site I ordered mine from, they didn't list the mah on that site...but it is listed here. Looks like this is the 350mah version

I think it'll make me happier about using my CE3s, cuz the only thing that annoys me is the abrupt "stair stepping" effect. That li'l cone makes it look so streamlined! WANT!!!

5 click shut off. I get all my products from Madvapes. Never had an issue with any product I have ordered. You can also get the shorty cone there I do believe. Smok Tech made my eGo.

I got mine from Liberty Flights, but I've seen them at madvapes and at gotvapes too, so I'm guessing they're available at a bunch of different places. They're only a $1 each at madvapes and they have them in gold or silver.

There are a few different styles of these shorty cones. I just ordered a couple that are made to go with a tank to use with my mini vivi nova.

By the way, there are several companies selling mini's now. They come in 3 sizes, (as far as I know).

My Apoloe C8 tank hits like a freight train! Wow, I am really quite dizzy. I usually vape 36mg and have been vaping this same Coconut juice for a few weeks in cartos with no problem. But in the Apoloe C8 tank, it is way to strong and I feel quite dizzy now.

Ordered and received 2 mini's from EmpireMods

$12, or $14 with a USB charger.

I got 3.5 hours of heavy use out of it, works well. 2 hours to charge from dead to full, not sure how many mah the charger is.

I believe these are the same as what mad vapes sells for $10. This will be my go to device while I am out and about.

LOL...too funny..sorry I put you through that again! LOL! Most of my juices are 50/50 PG/VG and 12mg Nic, so maybe I won't be spinning as much with mine....I hope to find out very soon! Been stalking the mailmain like never before today! I was wondering how that clear would do with a higher VG juice...but it looks like I will just need to find out myself here shortly.

This is the kit I ordered, and it comes in this cute little case. Not sure you want to get a whole new kit just for the case, but maybe you can find something similar. Mini ego threaded e cig in crocodile case with mirror, and clearomizer, usb and extra mouthpiece, blue, purple, green, orange, and pink

I just got a mini viva nova from gotvapes. Great product! To me the size is perfect, almost the same diameter as an eGo battery and still holds 2.5ml of liquid. Nice easy draw. My only complaint is the ohm of the head that gotvapes ships them with. It came with a 2.4ohm in it and it's horrible paired with the eGo mini batteries. Very weak vapor. I tried it with my 650 eGo upgrade and it works really well, but on the little eGo, weak vapor. I have a 1.8 ohm head coming and I'll give it try once it arrives. IMHO the 2.0 ohm and above are really meant for higher voltage mods or an unregulated eGo upgrade battery or maybe an eGo twist battery. I think the 1.8 ohm will make a huge difference with the mini eGo's. Anyone else using a viva nova with the mini eGo batteries? If so, what ohm head are you using?
