I got given this eHealth stick as a christmas present and I was like WTF?

I charged it for 5 hours as per the manual. For the first two refills I didn't even realise the thing vaped. The light at the end would come on suddenly and go off suddenly exactly 3 seconds later even if I was still drawing.

I had a day of hell sucking on this thing and craving - eventually I hit the analogues.

The third day (third refill) it suddenly smoked and I got my first TH and a real OMFG moment! The LED fades in and out with my breath now. Since then I've not even looked at regular cigarettes, but the refills seem to vary between almost nothing at all and a full day of casual vaping. Is this normal ?

Question is, should I buy another eHealth to make sure I have spares ? Or should I be looking at something else ? The main problem is that, this early in my vaping career, I would feel self conscious with anything that didn't look like a regular cig.

And, how can I refill these ? Is it even worthwhile with these carts as they already seem quite flakey? It looks like it would need a syringe as the cart ends seems so small.

Advice ?

Hi Gary, and welcome to ECF!

I am sorry, I don't know anything about that e-cig, but reading your post - No, I would not get another one. Maybe someone else will chime in that has experience with it. If you want something that looks like a cigarette and works great you could try a Joye 510 with a white battery (red or orange LED), white atomizer and cart, or white (even tan) cartomizer.

LOL, I know that "AHA" moment. Now that you know what PVs CAN be like, you need something that will give you that feeling consistently. That's how you end up quitting cigarettes. Do some basic research on the forum. Watch Mistress Nomad's videos http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-videos-newbies-particular-broke-newbies.html I recommend the $30 510 Riva kit from Liberty-Flights. A little larger than a regular 510, or a cig, but long battery life and consistent performance at a reasonable price. Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 If it doesn't show up as $29.99, click on the 20% off icon at the top of the page.
