Hope this is the right place to ask this question.

I got myProdigy 801 yesterday and love it. I am new to dripping but IMO it is the way to go! I thought I would use the Prodigy around home and my Janty Stick when out and about. Well...... I have changed my mind! Cant leave my Prodigy at home, it is just too good.

Anyway, thought I might get a pump bottle to use while driving. I am wondering if anyone has used the pump bottle from Johnson Creek? It looks really cool but dont want something that is a pain to fill. Also wondering if it might be messy, ie, does the fluid pump out ok without running down the side of the container? Any reviews appreciated.

Hi Carlee, thanks so much! Yes, i agree, it would look much better for me too. It looks really pretty, hoping it works good! Appreciate your review after you get it. Have a great week. :)

Thanks PuffinStuff.....here's wishing you a great week too!

I got the pump today....it's very pretty and will look good sitting on my desk as opposed to the bottles I always have sitting there....grin. Presentation is good....however....it is a pain in the .... to get the bottle out to fill it. They put a sticker on it stating that it wouldn't break by pulling up on the nozzle to remove it....it didn't break the nozzle but it did break my nail so I got a screwdriver to remove it. The bottle is plastic....I wish it was glass because I would imagine this plastic will crack pretty easily from the abuse I know it will get from removing it to refill it. I am going to rub a little liquid soap on the bottle so hopefully it will come out a little easier the next time I need to remove it. There is a little tab that fits into the nozzle so that you could transport the pump without the juice escaping....I wish they would have put in a few extra tabs because it is so small it will be hard to find if it falls out.

Hope this helps....

I just realized I forgot to answer your ? about if it is messy to use. I have been using it for about an hour and have had no problems at all with it running down the side. The pump works very well and doesn't run out real fast so I've had no problems with overfilling a cart.

The pump is attractive and a total pain in the behind. It is not easy to open and the plastic 10ml tank has a round bottom so you can't rest it on a table for filling. The device squirts out about .2ml (around four drops) which may be one drop too much for a proper drip (depending on the device you use), though I was able to use it with my e-pipe. Biggest shortcoming is that the nozzle moves with the button you press so you have to move the pump over your target or move the target under the pump. You do not have to move it alot, but the nozzle does travel further than a penstyle cartridge is wide. I used it for one week and have had it stored in my vaping capinet since then.

I will bring it into action for the next car trip I take as it does eliminate removing juice bottle tops in order to drip or top off. Someone posted a link to a surplus retailer that sod ots of these pumps (100+ pieces) for a couple of bucks. It is a repurposed device that rates a 4 out of 10 from my personal experience.

Hi Carlee and Breakfast Chef, Wow, great, comprehensive reviews.

I dont think I will order it. I have had hand surgery so even opening packages can be a pain in the behind. Scissors are now m friend LOL. I think I would have too much trouble if it is hard to get out to fill. I have some face cream that is in a cool little pump bottle and the top screws off. Maybe I can find something like that. In the alternative, was thinking of a bottle with the little flip up tab on the top.

I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my question.
