Anyone tried the MEGA (1000mah) Tornado batteries?

So I've done a few searches and can't find any reviews or anything on these batteries. Just wondering if anyone has tried one yet?

I'm actually kinda suspect of them....
Joye is putting out 900mAh eGo batteries lots of places have them...
janty is getting the 900mAh eGo batteries too...

TW seems to be the only place where these batteries are 1000mAh...
so why would the same manufacturer that makes the tornado release 900mAh batteries to everyone else including the company that designed the eGo...but produce one that has an extra 100mAh for only one company...
seems somewhat suspect to me.

According to what I've read elsewhere, Janty decided to reduce the capacity by 10% in order to shorten the length and reduce the weight from the Tornado unit.

right but that's janty....the joye ones we're seeing at HG and the like are the 900mAh version too...

and being that joye makes the tornado...I'm just wondering why TW is the only place that we're seeing the 1000mAh ones..

It seems like Joye made both 900 and 1000 mAh.
they should be different sizes.

I was gung ho to order one but a much more experienced vaper suggested no and I'm glad I didn't jump the gun. I'm such an impulse buyer. Example.............I bought the SE on the spot without knowing what the heck an e-cig was! Leason learned (hopefully)

you know, the theory of don't buy the first year model they make a new car.......kinda like that. If they were proven Janty I'd think about it again.

Well, from what Drozd was saying, they're Joye. As I understand it, Joye makes the eGo -- the Janty eGo. So, I still don't get the hesitation, if that's your concern.

Point taken, however, about v.0 of anything. Just not sure it applies here, since it's just a larger batt.

yeah janty designed the eGo and joye produced them for janty...janty released them to be sold OEM....and TW was the first to pick it up outside of janty...and then all sorts of others picked it up....we did get some knock off look alikes...like the hello, and the riva, and the maxx/Trex)....
however my point was joye has the 650mAh one and the 900mAh one...that's what the places like HG, and GP are carrying, others still the 650mAh....janty is getting the 900mAh....the tornado is a rebranded 650mAh eGo....so it doesnt make sense to me that the only 1000mAh version we're seeing is from TW...if it's still a joye product...

Last I heard, Janty still is testing there 900 battery...Was suppose to come out last month (April),,,but, according to them, they didn't like the preliminary results, so it is back to the drawing board for them....Still waiting on Janty to sell one...I really love their warrenty....Enjoy...
